    The situation became confusing. Lyria continued to fight the ursa major, despite everyponies protests, somepony else had entered, acting oddly casual for seeing one of the largest creatures in Equestria, and now, Lyria was flying, holding both Angel and Marble. Nopony had ever held Marble before. He was always much too large for them. He was completely in shock that somepony had finally done it. They eventually stopped at what he assumed was her camp. He stared at her in shock. [colour=#ff0000]"How did you do that?" [/colour]

    Dear Celestia, what did Marble just see?! Lyria got out, but was grabbed out of nowhere by an even larger ursa and was pulled back in! Angel seemed to appear out of nowhere to enter the cave and help her. Marble followed in behind him. The darkness allowed him to only see the outline of everything, but it seemed Lyria was attacking the ursa major that had kidnapped her. She told them to go, but Marble knew he'd never live with the guilt to knowing he could have saved Lyria. [colour=#ff0000]"Angel!" [/colour]He yelled frantically. [colour=#ff0000]"What should we do?!" [/colour]Even in normal circumstances, Marble knew he couldn't formulate a good plan. He hoped Angel had a calm head.

    Now Lyria didn't want to leave until Marble left. He seriously wanted to facehoof. [colour=#ff0000]Why is everypony such a good pony except me? [/colour]Without hesitation, he flew out of the cave, with the hope that Lyria was flying behind. He knew she could probably be halfway across the forest by now, but didn't want to live with that odd feeling that the ursa attacked her before she ran off.

    While in the middle of his emotional fit, he looked over and saw somepony enter a cave he hadn't noticed. He recognized it immediately as the cave where he angered the ursa minor. He became very worried after seeing whoever it was enter the cave, especially after he thought he heard the sound of loud footsteps. He started shakily walking towards the cave, hoping he could get the cadet out before the situation escalated. He entered the dark cave, and bumped into somepony walking slowly backwards. It was Lyria. He regretted entering, and wanting to facehoof at his stupidity. [colour=#ff0000]"Lyria... Get out..." [/colour]He whispered to her. [colour=#ff0000]"Fly fast. Fly far." [/colour]He didn't want to leave until he was certain she was gone.

    All three of them seemed to just be writing songs. It wasn't exactly exciting, but at least they admitted that it wasn't. There was another awkward silence as he tried thinking of something else to say. [colour=#0000cd]"So... How is song writing? Tough? Lots of work? Get to cuddle with lots of kittens?"[/colour]

    Everypony was getting settled down. The new students had found the host they wanted to be with, and the bell was signaling for everypony to go to their first class. Thankfully, the host club was allowed to stay back for club duties with the first years who had no classes that day. Alba settled down in his normal spot, with some of the other girls, and drank the commoners' coffee he recently began enjoying. He listened in on the customers lives, mostly aristocratic complaints, like they couldn't get a hooficure that morning because they were going to be late. Alba was able to relate to them, strangely enough. [colour=#008000]"I find your hooves lovely, even without the hooficure." [/colour]He said to the mare, which was responded by another fangirl scream. (Just updating myself since I haven't posted in a while)

    They all told him they were doing a solo. There was an awkward silence, other than the clickety clack of steel wheels on polished rails (totally didn't t steal that from Big Bang Theory). Showboat scratched his head trying to think of something to say. [colour=#0000cd]"So... Umm... Done anything exciting recently?" [/colour]He finally settled with.

    It happened much too slowly for Knight's comfort. He really wanted it over with, but Violet appeared to want to torture him by taking her time. He felt especially uncomfortable when she got closer, and few a few seconds, all he could feel was her breath on his face. He was shaking slightly out of nervousness, but was able to keep the candy on his nose. Eventually, Violet finally took the candy. The moment froze from the awkwardness and his embarrassment in that moment, feeling like it was an eternity that she had her lips on his nose. She finally lay them off, and as soon as he could, he wiped at his nose to get rid of any saliva she left on it. He tried his best to control himself, under the advice of Slick, but clearly he couldn't control the large blush left across his face, and the continual nervous shaking. [colour=#b22222]"C-c-can we go now?" [/colour]He eventually said, after seeing everypony looking at the two. [colour=#b22222]"P-p-please?"[/colour]

    Harmony introduced the two as Delilah and Leif. Delilah made a second introduction, [colour=#000080]is that their hobby? [/colour]and told him that they were also singers. Leif looked rather shy, Showboat was having troubles believing she could be a singer. [colour=#0000cd]"Nice to meet you! I'm Showboat Forte, attorney at law! Remember it, for some day I will be famous!" [/colour]He gave his greeting again. [colour=#0000cd]"So, are you making a singing trio for the GGG or something?"[/colour]

    (This is gonna' be cute XP) Oh dear. It was Violet's turn for Truth or Dare. She picked dare. Knight was hoping for something funny again, but the dare was anything BUT funny. Knight's face turned red again as he began blushing in embarrassment. At least Violet was asking Knight for permission first. [colour=#b22222]"Er... Umm..." [/colour]He began stammering as he tried to tell her no. He couldn't get himself to say it. It was a dare! If she couldn't do a dare... Bad stuff would happen to her! But the couldn't have a filly eating something off of his face! [colour=#b22222]"O-okay..." [/colour]He finally stammered out his choice. He closed his eyes, not wanting to see any of it, and hoping that his face would lose feeling so he wouldn't have to imagine what it looked like.

[/colour]After adding his new activities to the schedule, he entered the train with Harmony and the others. [colour=#000080]Thank Celestia! To meet Octavia tomorrow, we have to take a day off. [/colour][colour=#0000cd]Why's that a good thing? [/colour][colour=#000080]We finally get to sleep in! [/colour]After laughing at his voice's laziness, he turned to Harmony. [colour=#0000cd]"So who are these other fillies?" H[/colour]e asked, pointing to the two beside Harmony.

    [colour=#0000cd]"I could come along?!" [/colour]Showboat responded with excited surprise. He then calmed down. [colour=#0000cd]"Only if you insist." [/colour]He snarked, before jumping for joy. [colour=#0000cd]"I get to meet Octavia and Sapphire Shores! WOOHOO!" [/colour][colour=#000080]Calm down. It's bad enough I won't be getting enough rest today. [/colour][colour=#0000cd]Now you be polite mister. You wouldn't want to be rude to the Princess of Equestria.[/colour]

    [colour=#0000cd]"O-Octavia? A-and Sapphire Shores?" [/colour]Showboat asked in disbelief. [colour=#0000cd]"The Princess? Grand Galloping Gala?" [/colour]The cogs in his brain finally sorted out the situation. Mostly. He started making random noises trying to ask her many questions at once. [colour=#0000cd]"You're playing at the GGG?! And meeting the Princess?! You're THAT famous?!" [/colour]

    [colour=#0000cd]"Er... Yes, hello again. Again." [/colour]He said to the mare with Harmony, as he couldn't think of any other response. Harmony asked why he was going to Canterlot. [colour=#0000cd]"Oh, you know, work, family, home, my cat. Ain't nopony got time for site seeing." [/colour]He referenced with a small laugh at the end. [colour=#0000cd]"The big question is, why are YOU going to Canterlot?"[/colour]

    (Excuse me while liquid pride leaks out of my tear ducts...) It was Flash's turn for an angry speech. Marble held back his (manly) tears while listening. He yelled about Marble helping him when he was injured, and told him that it was what friendship is about. Marble was happy to fly off when Flash told him to go. He flew off down the stream, so he could fly without ramming into a tree. He could no longer hold back his tears while flying, as they made a small trail behind him. He eventually stopped and began punching a tree in his flood of (feels) emotions. [colour=#ff0000]"Stupid... Flashbomb... I can take care... Of myself..." [/colour]He muttered to himself between punches. He completely forgot about his hunger in his emotional fit, and likely wouldn't be reminded of it until he regained feelings in his front hooves.

    (Censorship is magic?) The other cadet pony, who introduced himself to Flashbomb as Gadget Spinner, made a snarky remark about how 'it worked before'. Marble had almost forgot he was there. Marble turned to him now. [colour=#ff0000]"W-what?! What are you talking about?! Go away! This is between me and him, you're not involved with this!"[/colour]

    As a normal pony would expect, the situation was only worsened by Marble's anger. Some other pony was apparently woken by his yelling, telling him to quiet down, which naturally didn't work on the emotionally unstable pegasus. Flashbomb was yelling back as well, saying Marble was overreacting. He gave himself a few minutes to settle down, but it only built up his angry to explode a second time. [colour=#ff0000]"Flash! You can't just- just pick up a pony a-and force him to work with you!" [/colour]He still couldn't explain his anger very well, tripping over his words.

    Violet finally seemed to remember to tell Knight her funny story. Knight listened as much as he could, though unenthusiastic to have to listen to some filly. He was just as unenthusiastic while hearing the story. It wasn't funny, and didn't seem to embarrassing. It mostly made Knight feel uncomfortable, and gave him a small sense of fear. [colour=#b22222]"You got in a wagon with a strange pony? Dad always told me that that's dangerous..." [/colour]He shuddered at thinking of how his father would react if he was in that situation. [colour=#b22222]"Um... Got anything funnier?" [/colour]He had his expectations up, and after having them crushed by a story he didn't like, he still needed a good laugh.

    While waiting for the train to arrive, Showboat heard the voice of somepony slightly familiar. He looked over, and saw Harmony with (the pony from earlier/somepony else). [colour=#0000cd]"Oh! Hello again!" [/colour]He greeted them cheerfully. [colour=#0000cd]"Funny seeing you here."[/colour]

    (I'll just skip to the morning) Marble's nights were plagued with funny dreams. Most involved being chased by killer bunnies. Some involved the Ursa Minor attack from earlier, though attacking Flashbomb and the others. Before he could be fully consious to realize his position, however, he would always fall asleep again, not questioning the sudden comfort and warmth. Finally, his growling stomache was able to break him from his nightmares. He felt very hungry, and allowed his eyes to flutter open slowly for the first time since he started at the academy. He felt very confused that he was on the ground after remembering that he slept in the tree for the night. He looked to his left and saw Lightning Dust and Flashbomb, and knew what happened. He got very angry. [colour=#ff0000]"Flashbomb! What the hay!?" [/colour]He yelled at him after getting up. [colour=#ff0000]"Is it not bad enough that you're going to pass this test, you have to force me into passing as well?!" [/colour]His yelling confused even him as he stomped around trying to collect his thoughts.

    (I'll just throw myself back in...) The singer introduced herself as Harmony Charmer, a name he found rather cute. She ended up in a conversation with somepony else, some mare. His Caneighdian manners didn't let him interrupt them, even though he wanted to join the conversation, and before he could do anything, the two left. Showboat sighed in annoyance. [colour=#0000cd]I can win a not guilty verdict in impossible situations, but I can't join a stupid conversation. [/colour][colour=#000080]Eeyup. You're an idiot. [/colour]Ignoring the echoes in his mind, Showboat realized the train would be leaving some point soon. He didn't bring much, as he only expected to be in Ponyville a few hours before returning to his workplace in Canterlot. He levitated his suitcase, and made his way to the train station.

    Slick passed Knight the green sock, and he quickly put it on. It was funny. He had never worn socks before, and the feeling was peculiar, and almost ticklish. Slick pulled Knight and Shade into a group hug, making Knight uncomfortable again. He slipped out of the hug as soon as he had the opportunity, blushing furiously. [colour=#b22222]"Slick~! I said no hugs!" [/colour]He reminded him, with his 'slightly annoyed' voice. He then started laughing. [colour=#b22222]"Okay, you can get away with it this time." [/colour]He was feeling an abnormally good mood, and joined in the group hug again.
