Roleplay Type: World of Equestria RP Name: Skyglare Sex: Stallion Age: Young stallion Species: Pegasus Relatives: His brother Rhyphte. Although him and his brother are both very different, almost polar oposites, they rarely have fights that linger. This is because they both know where the other has come from and their point of views on the past. They respect the others choices, and Skyglare views his brother’s solemn tone with understanding and accepts Rhyphte's choice of view on their past. They can sympathize with each other rather than empathize and this keeps them close. Eye Color: ████████████ Hazel with a golden hue. Coat Color: ████████████ Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: ████████████ Being a pegasis, his mane is wind blown and teased but not un-kept. It's length goes down the back of his neck. His tail has the same style and has a decent length to it as well. The color is a solid cherrywood red Physique: Slightly taller, but only noticeable when compared to other stallions, and even then It’s not something that stands out. Cutie Mark: A sun glare (Like how a camera passes over the sun it will give off a glare, something like this) Origin/Residence: his mother when he was a foal but later a foster home, now he lives in Hoofington with his brother Rhypthe Occupation: Event coordinator/planer in the weather patrol. Mostly becomes active during times such as the summer sun solstice, nightmare night, winter wrap up, visits from Royalty, and other celebrations, parties and holidays. When there is no event being planned he spends time gliding high up in the sky, napping, spending time with friends, and occasionally helping the weather patrol. While most pegasi view moving the clouds as a practical tool for controlling the weather, Skyglare views it as a form of art in changing the flow of light from the sun; playing with it until he gets a desired effect. Motivation: Views the sun as a figure of his mother’s warm and caring personality and strives to show everyone just how beautiful it is through his manipulation of the clouds during dusk and dawn and at the events he plans. Personality: Skyglare is upbeat, easy going, and extroverted. He enjoys the company of others and thrives in the spotlight. He has a good sense of humor but can take jokes amied at him personally. He can be seen as optimistic but he only feels this way if he has the encouragement and praise from others. Character History: Skyglare has a very faint and foggy memory of his colt-hood. All he can remember was that his mother was very caring and that he lived for the time they spent together. She had cared for both him and his brother equally but Skyglare felt like he was her little sunshine and that no pony was going to change that. He strongly loved his brother but his mother was the world to him. Her smile was a warm, gentle. beaming light and it always made Skyglare giggle as a foal. He doesn’t remember ever seeing his father but he didn’t care for that so long as he had his mother. Shortly after learning how to walk and gallop, Skyglare and his brother Rhyphte were separated from their mother and ended up at a foster home. Neither of them can remember the details of how this happened and both have their own opinions. Rhyphte thinking that their mother abandoned them while Skyglarethinks it was something out of her control. Their mother couldn’t just leave them like that; she loved them too much, didn’t she? The experience of being separated from his mother left Skyglare in a state of absolute despair. His new foster parents loved him but It was never the same love that he had know from his mother and this left Skyglare feeling alone and lost. Often he would just run away and look at the sky, gazing at the clouds. After Sunglare had mastered how to fly, he would go up and just bury himself in a cloud, wishing for his mother’s gentle gaze again. The only time he truly felt comfort was during the sunrise and sunset, when everything was basked in the sun’s light in a way that seemed impossible to recreate. It reminded him of his mother’s smile; warm and glowing, and when it was gone, impossible to see again. Cutie Mark story: During flight school, Skyglare was popular but had never been one to excel. Not that he had trouble flying but rather he just preferred to glide and enjoy everything that was going on rather than be the fastest flyer in his class. When prompted he could easily keep up with the other colts but he just didn’t want to most of the time. He was at the top of his class when it came to weather classes and cloud logistics. But flying was something that he thought of as leisure time and never strained himself for it. For his final exam, Skyglare had to take part in a class race. He didn’t really care for it and didn’t stress out like the other pegasi, who were training and running laps constantly. Instead, Skyglare was playing with some of the nearby clouds. He was moving them to create different shapes and patterns; sometimes putting a cloud over another cloud to make shadows. He thought this was really cool and was upset when he was called to line up for the race. After the race had started Skyglare made sure that he was somewhere in the middle of the pack and not in last place. Then he just started to day dream as he usually does when he flies. Suddenly all of his class mates that were flying next to him were gone. He looked ahead of him to make sure he hadn’t fallen behind but he couldn’t see any pony. He looked around in panic wondering just how bad he had messed up when he saw his entire class behind him, looking at something. He flew to the side, off the track to see around them and saw what had stopped them from racing. The clouds he had been playing with earlier that day had created an amazing array of sunbeams right in front of him. The clouds themselves were taking on shades of orange and red and purple that didn’t seem possible. It was beautiful and Skyglare stopped dead in his flight, stopped, when he was at that time, in first place, and just stared at what he had accidentally created. Eventually the other students stopped gazing at the sunset and continued with the race. Skyglare casually let them pass and then, after taking one last glance at the sun just as everything started to turn dark, he turned around and continued the race. Later on that week, the flight class graduated. Sunglare received his official flyers permit and nailed a job as an apprentice of the weather patrol. Most of his friends had by now earned their cutiemark, as well as his brother Rhyphte, so Skyglare was beginning to feel impatient with his. He continued on with his apprentice ship though, thinking it might have something to do with the weather. Maybe he was the fastest cloud clearer, or could gather the biggest storm clouds? But to no avail, his flank remained blank. Having finished the days work his mentor dissmissed him, complimenting him on how well he had done today and encouraging him with his search for his cutie mark. Instead of going home, Skyglare flew to one of the nearby clouds and sat down. He sighed, gazing at the horizon, wishing for his special talent. He slumped down on his cloud and saw that the sun was falling in the sky. This brought a smile to his face. His favorite time of the day was almost here. Suddenly he remembered the sunset he had made back in flight school and decided he would try to remake it. He quickly took off, gathering more and more clouds to add to the design. By the time he had them all together the sun had already set and Skyglare flew home, a bit depressed. The next day Skyglare tried again. He didn't have any work today so he could devote all his time to his attempt. He gathered the clouds that weren't being used by the other pegasi and put them all in an area that was well out of the way. Then he tried to make a certain design or pattern like he had done before but he just couldn't get it to work this time. Eventually he got bored and gave up and began playing with them again, not trying to make anything out of it. Just having fun. Eventually the time came for the sun to fall in the sky. The sunset from the day of the race had brought a smile to Skyglare's face, but this one put him in his own realm . Nothing else was happening and nothing else was going on besides the sunset. The beauty and light from it all ignited a passion inside his heart that he hadn't know was there before. A passion to bring happiness to others and make them smile, just like his mother had done for him. In this same moment of discovery, the colt's flank also ignited, not into flames, but into a white light. As soon as it had come it had vanished and in it's place was his cutiemark; a sunglare. Skyglare beamed and quickly raced away to show his friends, his mentor, and his brother. When he flew down everyone was staring in awe at the sky. Skyglare followed their gaze and again everyone was staring at the sunset he created, just like before. He was delighted and everponyelse was thanking him and congadulating him. Skyglare had found what his talent was. He could rearange the skyline to intensify the glory of the sun and inspire good feelings in the hearts of others. (Oh, and this was my 100th post! yay! I've been saving for this! ^^)

Perhaps she just worked on her art as a hobby and then a loved one got sick and she wanted to share her art with this ill friend and it made the friend happy/get better? I don't know, this is just off the top of my head hope it helps though!

I think more background on the mane 6 would be neat, as long as that's not the focal point for the ENTIRE episode. Like half would be good. Let's see, we've already seen Pinky's past, we've seen Twilight's parents and brother, we've seen a bit of Rarity's parents, and we've seen some of AJ's family. That means the only two who don't have any background (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just going off of memory ) would be RainbowDash and FlutterShy. ^w^ = do want
