Willow opened his mouth to respond to the mare’s words, but was cut off as she was tackled by another stallion. It was apparent that they knew each other, maybe quite well, so Will hung back, smiling awkwardly as he watched the reunion. He ran over the pegasus’s words in his head; a day’s standard wasn’t very much money, and he was going to get to ride on a sky yacht…free food as well. It seemed the best course would be to just volunteer and save the other pegasus some money. Besides, if this trip turned out well, he might go back to Cloudsdale just to tell his father about it. It wasn’t very often a pony got to see a Manticore, let alone transport one in a luxury sky yacht. Will’s ears pricked up and he turned his attention back to the other two, who had now disentangled themselves and were looking at him pointedly. “Ah… I’m Willow Wing. Will for short.” Another small smile spread over his face, making little creases appear under his purple-ish blue eyes. “And I think I’d like to come with you, just as a volunteer. I’ve been around, and I’m…fairly sure I can be of assistance, at least, if you want me along.” He dipped his head slightly, causing the morning sun to glint off the polished metal of his helmet. Though Will was certain the armor wouldn’t stand up long to a Manticore onslaught, it undoubtedly, at least, made him look like he knew what he was doing. He did, of course, know what he was getting into; he had heard plenty of terrible stories about Manticores and the damage they could cause, but this opportunity was just too great to pass up.

((O.S.C. is an amazing science fiction writer. Just brilliant.)) There are probably others...but I can't think of them right now. I may add to this list when I do.

I think "Bridle Gossip" and "The Return of Harmony Part 2" where they defeat Discord. I think learning not to gossip at a young age is really important, or everyone is gonna hate you in high school, and learning that friendship is a struggle, but is worth working though big and small problems alike to retain that bond. In high schools these days, it's quite hard to find real, solid friendships that would really withstand the tests of time and troubles; teens would generally just get in a fight and announce they're not talking to the other anymore, and that's that. Quite childish, and embarrassing when you have to listen to it all the time...

Willow Wing yawned as he walked slowly from the place he had chosen to eat; he was unsure of what exactly the place was named, but the food was certainly the best he had had in quite a while. He shook his head slightly, wanting nothing more than to lie down and take a nice nap…but he had to move on today, and find the next job he was going to take. His money was running low, and he didn’t want to travel back to Cloudsdale to take some from his stash so soon. Just as he was preparing to head back to his lodgings for the next few days, he saw another pegasus outside a nearby building. She appeared to be looking at a large poster, and, as he looked closer, Will realized it was an advertisement for a job of some sort. His eyes narrowed as he trotted closer to better read the sign. ‘Moving a Manticore…that sounds interesting! For lack of a better word, I suppose…’ He approached the other Pegasus slowly. “Pardon…but do you know who put this poster up here?” Will glanced over to the mare, feeling a little awkward and unsure of himself. He needed a job, and even if he didn’t get paid this experience was more than enough to make him want to join the venture. An airship ride and a Manticore? Things didn’t get much more adventurous than that.

Well... Willow probably would have seen the posters and wanted to help, because he loves excitement, and he likes trying new things. He would think that he could protect others as well, because of his armor and experience and whatnot. But mostly for the excitement.

I write a lot as well, and, though I'm not as well-versed in fanfiction, I usually just write quickly, get all the basic ideas and structure down. Then I go sentence by sentence and rewrite, sometimes everything, adding detail and fixing mistakes. It lengthens it up as well, and usually works great for me. I'd love to read this when it's done~

She made her own house over the course of a few weeks and with the help of some friends by hollowing out a huge, old fallen log that she happened to stumble across. It didn’t take her long to get settled, and now she is looking for a job in or near Ponyville, the closest town to her house. Hallow still keeps in contact with her parents as has a good relationship with them. They had hoped that she would grow out of her crazy pranking ways, but they support whatever she wants to do, and just want her to be happy. Cutie Mark Story- Hallow received her Cutie Mark at a normal time, right in the middle of her age group at school. She was a mischievous filly and enjoyed playing little jokes, but had never done a really elaborate prank before. So, on Nightmare Night she transformed her whole house into a haunted house with several of her friends and used it to terrify her parents. She was a little afraid they would be mad at her, but when they were impressed and laughed, she felt amazing and accomplished, and gained her Cutie Mark; a roguish looking black face. Hallow’s Eyes and Teeth- Hallow almost always wears contacts to remove her pupils and fake teeth to give her real teeth sharp canines. She takes them off to sleep and won't wear them to special occasions, but they're in for the rest of the time. No one really knows why she went through the trouble of having the teeth and contacts made, and she considers the reason to be her greatest secret. Even her parents have never gotten her to admit her fascination with being physically different, and she has never considered any friend close enough to trust them with what is apparently a huge, important secret. Hallow’s Clothes- Hallow always wears her black cape, boots and bands on her upper legs. The bands were a gift from her best friend in Trottingham that she received before she left for the Everfree Forest and she never takes them off. The boots and cape come off when she’s sleeping or bathing, but otherwise she keeps them on because she loves the way they compliment her strange look and Cutie Mark. Though some consider wearing a cape and clunky boots all the time quite silly and childish, Hallow couldn't care less and would not change her 'style' for the world.

I added a new map to the first post that gives more chances for ponies to meet up. (: Now it should be easier to get other ponies in on this quest of awesome!

Ha! If I had the unlimited internet I would use both all the time. :'P I could always go to Barnes and Noble or something and use their internet for video calls... IMing doesn't really take up much internet, I've found. I can IM on some of my other forums...and there's a chat bar on Canterlot too, down at the bottom, that I didn't notice until just now...

Yeah... If I had unlimited internet I would get Skype, but considering my internet plan is only five gigs (so no video calls or anything), I really didn't see a reason to have one...I don't have a smartphone or iPod either.

Umm... I have a Gmail that I check regularly (like...I'm on there right now, so I respond immediately) but I don't have any IM services or anything. I should probably get one...

Hehe~ Comedic effect is good! He could like...see Will's armor and be interested and find out he's going on an adventure and want to join or something like that. (: Now we just need more ponies to join in on the fun! o3o
