1. It annoys me slightly how Chrysalis is the only villain not to pop up 1000 years ago. It completely upsets the pattern.

2. My first anime? Well... My older sister forced me to watch Sailor Moon once or twice when I was a kid... so technically that... She even made me watch the movie. I've had that silly 'the power of love song' ingrained in my subconscious most of my life. But the first anime I willingly watched? That would have to be a 13 episode series called Night Wizard (Ironically shown to me by my older sister, but this time I wasn't forced to watch it) It was good, if fairly simple. A nice introduction, I should think. I really need to go back and watch it. I can't really seem to remember much about it.
3. meh... 3/5. Not too intermeresting, but I suppose it gets the information you wanted to get out across. In really bold lettering. And its blue.
4. Tr- FALSE. Yupyupyupyup, definitely false. Never been a statement more wrong... hehheh. Almost slipped up... HEY what was that? Did you hear anything, cause I certainly didn't. Not. At. All. Just a guy typing, and somepony reading this is moving along. You see that? You can move along. Yes you. YOU SAW NOTHING!!! The person below me is extremely good at jumping the shark, in a very literal sense of the phrase.
5. Fantasy nodded, then sat down as well. Figuring that Darkness literally meant wait, she tried calmly staying still. It wasn't very long before she was slightly impatient, so she tried closing her eyes to focus. That had less success, so she glanced around the room, as her imagination got the better of her. She pulled out the moon trinket and stared at it a tad, wondering if it served any purpose, or it was just a trinket. She pocketed it, thinking very little of it, fascinating as it was, as she sat there next to darkness. Seconds added up to minutes, which in turn stacked with more seconds, until Fantasy realized she was terrible at keeping track of time in moments like this. In the absence of wondrous magic that could be mistaken for an ominous theme park, it wasn't long before Fantasy's thoughts were directed towards her companion in general. Specifically, she was letting the stories he had told her earlier sink in more, and they certainly were sad. But it wasn't quite pity motivating her, as fantasy mused she actually like him. After all, he was pretty grand... Fantasy blushed slightly, before mentally scolding herself for blushing slightly. She was trying to remain stoic, and that certainly didn't help. Then her attention was drawn once more to the waiting game she was currently playing, and breaking the silence, she spoke up. "What are we waiting for, exactly?"
6. Gah! Today I rediscovered an old favorite show of mine: Xiaolin Showdown. Massive nostalgia rush.

7. So my dog is asleep, and he appears to be dreaming. How can I tell? He sleep barks.

Haha, that's adorable.

Sorta like how my pet rabbit used to sleep run. :3

8. Well, think about it, every time a villain was defeated, the punishment fit the crime somewhat ironically. Nightmare moon wanted everlasting night, so she was banished to the moon. Discord wanted eternal chaos, so he was transformed into the most static predictable substance available: Unchanging, predictable stone. Chrysalis wanted to invade Canterlot to feed off of love, so love inevitably defeated her by scattering her army across Equestria, making impossible to mobilize and risk another invasion. So Mr. Sombra, as the only dark magic user thus far (excluding the-closest-thing-to-a-god-this-show-has Celestia, and of course Twi, since she wasn't around 1000 years ago) it would only be fitting to turn him into little more than a shadow of the magics he possessed, then cast out into arctic cold that matched the coldness of his heart. Least, that's my take.
9. Fantasy stared quizzically at the pegasus, before replying "You mean something could be worse than being in a ruin that seems to be impossible to navigate without getting hopelessly lost?" She shook her head slightly, "Well, you haven't been wrong yet. Very well, I trust your judgement. The sooner we get going the sooner we come to... something, I guess" She started walking alongside to Darkness, this time forwards through the hallway, seeing as how backwards just got more complicated. She walked on for a while, as the hallway stretched out before them, before coming to halt before another door. Seeing as how it was just a door, she opened it, only to stare curiously at a completely blank room. It didn't even seem to have another exit. It was just a solid, stone box. She shot a curious aside at Darkness, before wandering into the room, not knowing what to make of it. Still, it had to have served some purpose, and maybe it still did. Sure this place seemed to be a crazy madhouse dedicated to the mare on the moon, but a barren room was just too strange. Everything so far seemed to do something, so logically this one had to do something to. Unless it did nothing, which was technically still something. Gah, now she was confused a little. "Any ideas on this place, Mr. Eclipsed? 'Cause I can't make heads or tails of it."
10. Enos watched intently as Sapphire listened to the crowd, wondering what would come of that. He blinked in response to her comment on the crowd, not wondering what she meant, before realizing that most music stars were probably accustomed to cheering. Very understandable, he reasoned. Besides, he couldn't ask everypony to enjoy the noise of the crowds. That would just leave everypony listening and nopony talking in the first place. Wait, Sapphire had started to say something again. Enos paused to listen, somewhat intently The unicorn nodded eagerly in agreement, realizing that he hadn't either. Somehow something always seemed to come up before he thought of eating something, but now that she mentioned it, he hadn't eaten since... when had he eaten last? He recalled eating something for breakfast, as he lowered his head in thought. He shrugged, thinking that what he had for breakfast probably wasn't relevant to the situation. He looked around, realizing that he had fallen behind slightly, so he hurried to catch up to the pop star, only to catch another one of her questions (Well, another two of her questions) Enos grinned excitedly as she spoke, hoping that this would be an excellent attempt to showcase his magic. He lowered his head slightly to focus as his horn glowed a light grey. To keep things simple, he figured a simple spell would be enough, so his voice resonated up to Sapphire even though he hadn't actually spoken "Not quite. Really, the tuning fork just means sound, which itself is something of specialty of mine. For example, ventriloquism." As the sentence ended, his glowing horn abruptly dimmed, and he raised his head back up, with the same smile.
11. "They're... changing?" She looked around, curiously. She didn't feel anything happening, but maybe it was a trip line magic, as in, the corridor waited for one to get in before randomizing. But then, where would they go? Did the rooms stay the same as well... and... the rooms might have... changed as well... "Oh Celestia!" Fantasy practically bolted back down the hallway as the realization struck her. The hallway seemed shorter, because she was kind of sprinting, but it did seem rather different. Fairly quickly she came to a door at the end of the hallway, and with any hope the same one they came through. She flung it open, not giving a moment of rest from the sprint, and came face to face with a room that certainly didn't have a statue on a hill. In fact, it wasn't even a room, just a T-shaped hallway split, offering two choices to go, neither of them familiar. Fantasy panicked for a brief moment, before natural curiosity set back in, as well as the sprint taking its toll. She stood there, staring at both hallways, breathing heavily for a few moments, as a grin slowly set back on her face. Wait... if she went into either of those corridors, there would be a possibility that the hallways would separate her from Darkness. It would seem that it would be especially important for them to stick together, so she trotted back to the pegasus. He wasn't that far off, seeing as how she didn't go that far, but it was still nice to see him again. "Well, you coming? I can't very well have a panic attack by myself. That would be selfish." She smiled at him.
12. Probably. But sleep is overrated anyways. The person below me has a needlessly large amount of Shakespearean lines memorized for easy quotes and comebacks
13. You know, if anypony hasn't mentioned it yet, here's one for all of yall who own the NES - Go back and play all of the games. With the power glove.

15. Actually, its funny you mention an overarching story, because when I first got into the brony community and watched the very first part 1, I have to admit, I had expected waaaay to much. I had thought Nightmare Moon would have spread the elements across Equestria, and the Mane 6 would have gone on this grand adventure to find the elements as they all came across to recognize their elements as integral parts of who they were. Then I watched part two, and I realized my imagination is too, well, imaginative. But anyways, if they did go for the arc, I would be behind it one hundred and ten percent, if only to satisfy the first impressions I had of the show. Besides, they left so many details hanging they can't not bring some of them back.
16. Actually, I think this might have been part of Twilight's test. That is too say, how well she could deal with a threat without the ultimate deus ex machina. If the mane 6 just went in with the elements there would have been no challenge for Twilight, and therefore it wouldn't have been much of a test.
17. I guess so, and I suppose it could be considered a tangent of magic, completely separate from morality, but to see Celestia use the same kind of the magic as villain still seems odd. Unless Celestia knew that Twilight would need dark magic to get to the crystal heart, but that might be giving her too much credit
18. Okay, a few thoughts that occur to me as I reflect on the episodes First of all - Celestia can use dark magic. The more I think about it, the more it unnerves me. I mean, I guess I can see why she would have it, she is pretty much the most powerful magician in the show with few exceptions so it would make sense that she knows dark magic. That said, why would she know it? Was she bored one day and thought it could be fun? What bothers me the most is that it has nothing to do with what we've seen of her so far, besides the whole ultra-wizard thing. Her talent, I presume, is raising the sun, and acting as princess, either/or. Shadow magic has nothing to do with either of those, at least, not directly. Its obviously advanced magic, seeing as how even Twilight had to improv it after seeing Celestia. We haven't seen any side effects on Twilight yet, but Sombra seems to be irredeemably evil. Can he use shadow magic because he's evil, or vice versa? If the latter, does this secretly support tyrant Celestia, or does it show she has complete control over her emotions? I would equate it to Yoda from Star Wars just kind of showing off his skills with the dark side of the force. He, like Celestia, should know about it, but actually seeing him use it would be... off. Second order of business - Alicorn =/= royalty. Proof? King Sombra, the Unicorn. Its interesting to see royalty that doesn't have wings. And third (this one's less in depth) - Those guards in the first five seconds of the show have really cool voices.
19. Course you can! Just find a new villain! I'm sure Celestia has one tucked away somewhere...
20. I just dug up a relevant quote: "The door is everything; all that once was, and all that will be! The door controls time and space, love and death! The door can see into your mind! The DOOR can see into your SOULLLLL!" "Re-really? The door can do all that" "Heh, no." edit: Well, relevant to the door. Not so much to the death scene
21. In brightest day, in blackest night, no disharmony shall escape my sight. Let those who worship chaos' might, beware my power: Friendship's light!

22. Wait... if dark magic is a thing, and at least three unicorns (well, two unicorns and Celestia) can use it... I guess evil magic is canon now. I don't think that bodes well. Oh, also, its official, Celestia is ban happy. That is now -1 villain turned to stone -1 villain turned to shadow/disentavaporated -1 villain banished to the moon/brainwashed back to the good side -and 1 villain literally thrown miles off into the distance into who knows where remind me to never get on an Alicorn's bad side
23. I was actually kind of impressed by Sombra. Sure I was dissapointed he didn't get more than about a line or two, but I think as far as that looming threat kind of villain, he worked very well. He didn't need to be directly involved, just by being there he provided an unsettling back drop, not to mention his safe guard spells were pretty darn cool. ITS A DOOR THAT MOVES! What's not to like?
