  1. I don't fully understand the rage of Day One DLC. Can someone explain without the rage?

I am a business thinking person, so I never really understood the rage on the idea that if its as a DLC it should be in the main game at the start. Most day one DLC's I've seen are free, and the $60 dollar price for pre order or whatever is the price that the game will be starting out. Most new games are expensive. And the company making the game is a company, its suppose to make money. Its not someones personal entertainment creator. The Board of Directors want profits and they...

Maybe other people have got to this already, but I think the issue people have is that it's content made prior to the game's release and therefore 'could' have been added to the base game but is listed as a separate product. So, it's perceived as an attempt to sell the same thing multiple times. From what I hear, the reality is both more reasonable and more complicated than that.

Indeed, there is DLC that is free. However sometimes you have to register the game and buy an online pass. Like I said, it's to cut down on the pre owned market which ultimately damages the industry. Each time you buy one, the store gets money but none of the people who made the game do. At least with buying day one DLC you give some money back to the developers.
