1. (the thread's been quiet, I hope no one minds if I jump in) Snickerdoodle gratefully sipped at the steaming mug of cocoa in front of her, then tipped the small bowl of marshmallows into it, dropping a few on the bartop. "Sorry, I didn't catch your name miss." "That's because I didn't throw it." Snickerdoodle grinned and then sighed. "Sorry, that was a lame joke. My name is Snickerdoodle, like the cookie." She pointed at her flank with one hoof, indicating the three chocolate chip cookies of her cutie mark. At the mention of cookies, her stomach growled. "A slice of apple pie sounds mighty nice right about now. Maybe an apple fritter too, if you have any left. Thank you kindly." Snickerdoodle took another sip from the cocoa, now that some of the marshmallows had time to dissolve a little. Then she turned to look around the bar a little more. "Ponyland, huh? I think my brother has told me about this place before. He's in the REA, 45th battalion. Although right now he's stationed near Stalliongrad. I'm sure he's got several griffin drinking buddies in whatever military bars they have up there." She smiled at the other ponies seated nearby. Some had clearly been here long enough to get dry. The unicorn chatting up the other Wonderbolt looked to be a bit soused, actually. Probably for the best that somepony other than her was the one getting drunk and hitting on Wonderbolts. The uniform was very appealing, so it was no wonder that they were so popular, both in the air and on the ground. She sat back and casually listened in on the conversations around her.
2. I have Durham Red, an earth pony stallion who lives in Appleloosa, but he hasn't joined any RP threads yet. He runs the grain mill at the edge of town, providing the flour that everypony needs to bake delicious apple pies. He would be up for any RP involving feats of strength, or otherwise making a fool of himself to try and impress the fillies.
3. "Oh dear. I apologize for Flit. He doesn't normally act like this around other ponies. Something must be bothering him today." Fuchsia turned to take the orchid back to the storage room, and to make sure that Bramble Rose didn't need any more help with the cut flowers. "So you grew up around here? Where is your family now?" "They still live in the same house, in one of the outer neighborhoods of Canterlot. My mother keeps a large backyard garden, and often comes to visit me in my greenhouse during the winter months. My father is semi-retired. He was a traveling salespony, but these days he mainly works out of the office. Ma likes that he's home more often, but I can tell that he misses visiting all the corners of Equestria." Fuchsia Blooms never liked the terms Dam and Sire. They felt so... formal. She preferred the more familiar terms mother and father. "How about your family? You said your, um, dam works at the University. What does she teach?"
4. (Not Snickers, please. Doodle if you must, but never Snickers) Snickerdoodle felt the familiar tingle in her feathers and jumped back just before a lightning bolt hit the candy stand. She looked up. "Hiya Bon Bon! Did you see me miss that tree over there???" "My...cart...DDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" Ah. Snickerdoodle had heard of the infamous Derpy Hooves, but never met her before now. Probably just as well, since the grey pegasus seemed to like dropping lightning bolts on ponies heads. Fortunately, Bon Bon had removed some of her chocolates to display for another customer before the cart had been hit. Any candy left would have been melted from the electricity. It might be re-tempered, but that would take a lot of work, and mean lost sales for the rest of the day. Then, for some reason, Derpy veered straight into the cart again, crushing it even more. Snickerdoodle Looked forlornly at what was left. It wasn't her cart, but she still felt really badly for the yellow mare. And she had her heart set on some chocolates today.
5. I sketched it using a vector base I found on Deviantart for the pose, but I drew and painted it by hand.
6. From the album: Pony Scribbles and Stuff

My personal ponysona and Brianblackberry's ponysona, sharing a smooch. This is a continuation of the first drawing I did, except I decided to paint this one instead of using coloured pencils. Love you sweetie! *KISS*
7. Fuchsia Blooms giggled as Bramble Rose gave her a courtly bow and kissed her hoof. And again, when he started speaking in the upper-class Canterlot accent. "A wine shop? How interesting! It was an empty storefront when I moved in here a few months ago. I admit, I did not usually frequent this part of Canterlot when I was a foal, so I didn't know what used to be here. We didn't drink much wine in our house, only mulled cider for the holidays." Fuchsia cleared a space in the display case for a bucket to put the cut flowers in, then turned to the potted plants on the counter. "The cut stems can go in the case up front here, and I'll take the potted ones to the storage area in back of the shop." The pots on the counter glowed with a gentle pink aura, as they floated up and away to the shelves in the back room. Just then, Flit appeared from the orchid still on the counter from earlier in the morning, with a guilty look on his tiny face. He zipped over towards the door, and stopped abruptly in front of Bramble's nose. Hovering for a moment, the little hummingbird gave a defiant look to the unicorn stallion, and then whirred away to the birdhouse in the rafters. Fuchsia sighed. Flit was being decidedly overprotective of her today for some reason. He didn't normally challenge every stallion that came in to the shop. Maybe he was just jealous. She did have her hoof kissed, twice! By two different gentlecolts. That was unusual. Sweet, but unusual. Hopefully he would work whatever it was out of his system before he really offended somepony.
8. Fuchsia Blooms felt a little bad about what she had done to the blue pegasus after one of the Daring Do cosplayers dressed him down in front of everypony. She decided to wait and see what his reaction would be to the outburst. If he changed his tune and was nicer to the fans attending the convention, she would remove the rose from his tail and be on her way. But if he dug in and remained rude, then the flower would stay, and the flies would nip his behind. She watched his face, and sighed. He was clearly not going to change his attitude. He had an indignant look that she recognized from some of the Canterlot ponies back home. He turned back to the pretty pony in the Princess Veil costume and said, "Ok, now that I'm not being interrupted by a fandom that doesn't seem to like sports and blames it on me, I was wondering if you could tell me what you think." Fuchsia knew what she thought. And it wasn't pleasant. She turned around and trotted into Ballroom B for the archeology panel, and left Madden to the flies.
9. Snickerdoodle's heart sank. Spitfire had just made her purchase, and was already turning to leave, when she bumped in to her. ”Oh, sorry. Excuse me. Have we met?” Snickerdoodle smiled nervously and backed up a step. "Oh, that's quite all right. No harm done." She looked down at her hooves for a moment, then back up at Spitfire. "Yes, ma'am. I attended the Wonderbolt Academy for a short while, but I didn't make the cut." There, that was true enough. She wasn't as strong or as competitive as her classmates at the Academy, even though she was a very nimble flier. "As long as she doesn't remember the time I made an absolute fool of myself in the bar after training..." Snickerdoodle thought to herself. She blushed a little, and quickly changed the subject. "So, those chocolates are pretty good, huh? I was going to get a bag for myself while I was in Ponyville for my weekly shopping. You just can't get candy like that up in Cloudsdale." Snickerdoodle smiled her brightest smile at the flame coloured pegasus.
10. Fuchsia Blooms trotted out to the cart to inspect the tulips and daffodils. They were all beautiful, and had such delicate scents. She sniffed at a salmon pink tulip with frilled white edges, and sighed happily. "Each order comes with a free charm to keep them fresher, longer! The finest quality flowers, with that special extra touch!" "Oh, how wonderful! It's probably the same charm I put on all the bouquets I send out. The ponies really appreciate that their flowers won't wither and die within a few days of bringing them home. It really is the mark of a quality shop, don't you think?" "So, new shop? Are you bringing it from another city, or is this really brand new?" Fuchsia giggled at Bramble Rose. He must have been thinking of something right after he asked the question, because a strange look flashed across his face as soon as he said it. "Oh, it's relatively new I suppose. I haven't been here long, but I hope to stay for quite a long time. I do have a greenhouse in Garden Gait, but I don't sell any of my flowers there. I bring them all here to sell in Canterlot. I grew up here, my parents still live in the city. My shop is actually named in honor of my mother, who could grow just about anything." Fuchsia smiled wistfully at the memory of the backyard garden, and spending the summer tending the flowers and vegetables. Then she picked up a few pots of tulips and turned towards the door. "Shall we start bringing these inside?"
11. Fuchsia Blooms is based on Jamie from the online comic Girls With Slingshots . Like Jamie, Fuchsia works in a flower shop, is curvacious and cute, and a total romantic at heart. She's also a 'whatever-sexual', so if any of you 'shippers want to create a relationship with her, she's probably open to it. Just ask first. Snickerdoodle is based on myself. I like to bake cookies as an expression of love and friendship, and I prefer quiet alone time to being constantly surrounded by people. And, like me, Snickerdoodle is a stallions only kind of girl. Sweet, shy, and geeky is my type, and probably hers as well.
12. Fuchsia looked up from the paperwork strewn on the counter. A unicorn stallion with a pot of irises floating nearby was standing in the doorway. "Ah! You must be the new delivery pony! I'm Fuchsia Blooms, the shop owner." She trotted over to inspect the pot of flowers. "These iris are lovely! Do you have any more?" Then she noticed the cart outside. "Oh, what else do you have? I'm tragically short of tulips today." Fuchsia smiled at the stallion. He seemed a little surprised to see her, which was kind of adorable. True, she hadn't been in this location for very long, but she hoped to make her little floral shop a Canterlot landmark someday.
13. As Fuchsia wandered over towards Ballroom B, she was distracted by a commotion in the hall nearby. Three pegasi, two in costume and one in front of a fancy camera were drawing attention to themselves. As Fuchsia moved closer, she caught snippets of the conversation. The one dressed as Daring Do was yelling at the non-costumed pony with the camera. The third, in a beautiful Princess Veil ensemble, was trying to make peace between the two. That is the kind of rudeness that this convention suffers from. These ponies, while innocent and fun lovely at first glance, are some of the more rude ponies I've ever met. Oh dear. No wonder the Daring Do pony was so upset. Whomever this blue pegasus with the fancy camera was, he was not a pleasant pony. He seemed to be at the convention solely to mock the ponies gathered here. This would not do. Fuchsia Blooms thought for a moment. How could she take this pesky pony down a notch? Hmmm... A spell to drive insects away from her flowers could be reversed to attract them instead. She rummaged through her saddlebags and removed a small pink tea rose. She closed her eyes and concentrated a bit over the flower. Her horn glowed pink for a moment, then subsided. Then she moved a little closer to the obnoxious blue pegasus, and surreptitiously wove the tea rose into the strands of his tail, near his rump. "Let's see how you like being bugged by annoying pests." She thought to herself, and giggled. Already she could hear the flies in the building starting to buzz closer to their location, attracted by the alluring spell the had cast over the rose. Fuchsia moved back towards the ballrooms to wait and see what would happen next.
14. You're welcome! I wanted to do something nice for you. Unfortunately my scanner messes with the colours, my ponysona should be a paler and slightly more yellowish green.
15. ((That's okay, I expect others will join soon. I invited a friend of mine who plays a delivery pony. Thanks for starting it off though, it was fun!))
16. Snickerdoodle was absolutely soaking wet. The rain had slowed a little from earlier, but it was still a steady downpour. She had been working her regular shift at the weather factory in Cloudsdale when the storm hit. Like the other pegasi, she went out to help break it up, or at least try. Cloudbusting really wasn't her strong suit. She worked in the rainbow department, for goodness sake! At least she was nimble enough to avoid the lightning bolts that whizzed between the thunderclouds. Snickerdoodle was dead tired, too, but she knew she couldn't go home. One of the downsides to having a house on the shores of the Nimbusgait Lakes. It was probably under as much water as she was right now. She would have to assess the damage tomorrow, and perhaps have her father come help her repair the damage. She supposed she could have gone to stay the night with her parents, but they lived in Cloudsdale. Snickerdoodle doubted she had the strength to fly back up through all the rain and wind to get there. Besides, they had probably already turned her old bedroom into and office or storage space or something. Instead, she found herself trotting through the empty streets of Canterlot. She didn't have high hopes of finding anyplace open at this hour, but she saw lights burning a few streets down. Snickerdoodle sighed, and hoped they wouldn't mind a bedraggled pegasus coming in from the rain. Upon entering the establishment, she noticed that quite a few others had the same idea she did. Several other pegasi were sitting around the bar, having drinks and eating. Including one, no, two Wonderbolts. Soarin' she recognized of course, but the other wasn't familiar. Probably one of the reservists. Snickerdoodle knew that being in a bar with Wonderbolts was a potential recipe for disaster, but that was a risk she would have to take. Besides, it looked like Soarin' was already deep in conversation with Rainbow Dash, and most likely wouldn't even notice her. Snickerdoodle shook herself as dry as she could while still standing in the doorway, then took an empty seat at the bar. "A glass of water and a mug of hot cocoa please, bartender. Also, what do you have to eat? I'm absolutely starving."
17. "I certainly hope I see you again soon, Light. Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day." Fuchsia Blooms continued to smile pleasantly at the handsome alicorn stallion. He certainly was a nice pony, so polite. But he was royalty after all, they would have to be polite and kind to everypony, or certainly Celestia would banish him to the moon. And that would be terrible. She really did hope to see him again in her shop soon. Or somewhere else in Canterlot. Perhaps she would finally gain that elusive invitation to the Grand Galloping Gala, and he would be there. Maybe he would even ask her to dance. But that was fluff and daydreams. Time to get back to reality. After all, she had a business to run! She couldn't spend all day dreaming about dancing the night away with princes, no matter how handsome they were.
18. Fuchsia Blooms smiled and giggled. Oh, such a sweet, gentle soul this prince was. "Thank you. I am very pleased with my life right now. After all, I get to meet such wonderful ponies every day!" She was disappointed that he wasn't planing on making a purchase, but that was okay. Truth be told, she was always a little reluctant to see one of her prized orchids leave the shop. Even though she made sure that the buyers had all the instructions necessary to keep them blooming for a very long time. "Oh, don't worry, Light. I don't mind that you only came in to look. After all, smells are free! But whenever you find yourself in need of flowers for any occasion, please come back and I'll be happy to help you." Fuchsia thought for a moment, and let her eyes wander over towards the display case. She spied some lovely orange gerbera daisies hiding in the back, and made a quick decision. She used her magic to bring one of them over to her, and then carefully tucked it into the alicorn's lovely maroon mane. "You did say orange was your favorite colour, yes? Please accept this flower as a gift, on the house."
19. Fuchsia Blooms looked a little shocked that Light had offered to find her a special somepony. The she laughed to herself. Imagine, having a prince play matchmaker to a simple shopkeeper pony like herself! "Oh goodness me, that is very sweet of you to say. And someday I'm sure I'll find the right stallion for me. But I'm fine right now. I have the shop to keep me busy, and I have very good friends and neighbors who invite me over for little parties when I've been focusing on work too much. And of course, i have my little friend Flit here to keep me company every day." Fuchsia smiled up at the hummingbird, who fluffed his chest feathers and tried to look impressive. "But please, enough about me. Would you like to see the Tropical Cymbidium Orchid? I can bring it out for you"
20. Sorry, I've been getting caught up in roleplayin with my current OCs, and haven't been working on my app. I'll try to update it more today. EDIT: Okay, I've finished writing the history and character summary. Ready for review!
21. From the album: Pony Scribbles and Stuff

A little bit of fan art featuring my special friend Brianblackberry's personal ponysona and my own. My cutie mark is a book, because I love reading and learning new things. I would love to live in a library like Twilight Sparkle.
22. "Orange? Oh yes, I do have an orange orchid. Tropical Cymbidium Orchids are one of the most exotic and fascinating flowers in Equestria. They symbolize love, charm, beauty, and refinement. All qualities shared with Canterlot Royalty, I'm sure." Fuchsia Looked a little stricken at that last statement. She hadn't meant to mention his status as a prince, since Light seemed so uncomfortable with the honoriffic. "Does your mare, um, friend like flowers? Orchids can be temperamental, but with a little patience and care they can bloom year after year." Then he asked her if she had a special somepony of her own. Fuchsia Blooms blushed straight down to her hooves. She lowered her eyes to the floor and shuffled her hooves a little. "I ah... no, I don't have a special somepony. I get so busy with keeping the shop, and my greenhouse, that I don't have a lot of time to go out and meet new ponies. Except for the ones that come in to my shop, of course. I'd like to, maybe someday, but not right now." Flit noticed the alicorn looking at him. He hovered near the gladiolas he had been perching in, then zipped over to buzz around Fuchsia's head. He settled on the tip of her horn and tried to stare down the alicorn stallion.
23. Fuchsia smiled and let out a little sigh of relief. Sometimes Flit would buzz the customers who entered her shop, and she was always worried the little bird would offend them somehow. Not everypony was so forgiving of his antics as she was. Prince Light Harmony seemed to be having trouble making a choice. She couldn't blame him, all her orchids were special to her, in one way or another. She really wanted to help him make a decision. Perhaps she could narrow down his options? "Do you perhaps have a favorite colour, or a particular scent you like more than the others? Or is this a gift for somepony else? A special somepony, perhaps?"
