  1. There's plenty of Pony Sounds apps out there. I have a Motorola Xoom (runs on Android), and I found a Pony Soundboard app for it. Needless to say, I downloaded it. And all of it's addons.
  2. Hello all, I'm Lucan - Writer and Founder of the Legend of Celestia fangame project! I've got news for you all. I know this site has good artists on it - I come here once almost every hour. Every. Single. Day. I always see that the Gallery has amazing things posted on it, so for those of you who post there, I've got some cool news for you! The Legend of Celestia Dev Team is seeking a new spriter! Our old spriter, Soak, was recently hired, so he doesn't have the time to do this. What we're expecting - > Maturity - Soak was mature, and mature people are good. We don't want anybody acting like 6 year olds! > Skill - We hand pick our members (no rly?), and skill beats all. As Artax said - saying you did something is different than showing you did something (those might not be his/her exact words). I'm a HUGE supporter of this idea - so I will also need a work sample. > Be Open - Our game's storyline is wierd (Unsure about the rest of the cutscenes, but some of our members even thought that the Intro cutscene was creepy), and some people just don't like the wierdness. You have to be willing to say "Alright, this is crazy, but so what? It's different, and that's good!" Our team does have expectations and rules, of course. > Politeness - We don't like being offended. Don't insult us. It is guarranteed to backfire on you. > Speed - Looking for a fast team? Look here! Our team is almost always *very* fast - we're only slow when something is dragging us down. We are the guys who had the engine up and a functional Bit (money) system in the game two weeks after the project was announced PLUS music, SFX, and plenty of tiles and sprites. We're quite serious (most of the time), and we get things done (all the time) > Accessable - I need a way to contact you. If I accept you, you should have an AIM screenname of Steam username for me to add you. Steam is preffered, since most of our team uses it. > Often Online - We need to be able to contact you! > Able to turn things in on time - Tardiness *really* gets on our nerves. After so much time after the due date (not too long, but not too short, usually 3 or 4 days UNEXCUSED), we will try to replace you - we don't want any anchors on this ship! Think you have what it takes? Post applications in THIS FORMAT. > What you want us to call you > Experience (Have you worked on other projects? Are you in an art class? Anything you are well-known for? Is this a hobby of yours? If it's a hobby, how often you do it?) > Work examples All of those fields are required! Thank you! ~ Lucan
  3. Oh god, now that I think of it... Crustacean is DEFFINETLY my theme. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8NJjRvsmAw
  4. SHE is the KING? You're implying that she's a male... ... Nightmare Moon for the win. Eternal night? I'm okay with that. I am in love with the moon IRL (I actually called it Luna before I ever heard of FiM). Also - awesome eyes. Enough said.
  5. Thank you. That's part of what I was saying, but I honestly don't think I said it right. You did. Sir/M'am, I salute you.
  6. I'm not sure, what would he think? Plus, what would his view be on MLP:FiM? But I'm not comparing his work to the show, I'm using his fans - the queen fandom, really, as an example. And, yes, while MLP:FiM will probably never reach the popularity Queen ever had (curse you, prejudice against ponies!), Queen's fandom can still be used as an example of how a bunch of fans can last a long time, if not forever, with something wonderful yet discontinued.
  7. I love how everybody notices the clown joke, and one person noticed the one refference to Queen. And nobody noticed the constant reffering to Goldeneye.
  8. Unless you're afraid of clowns...... Also, I believe that this fandom can survive off of Fanon. If a piece of Fanon becomes popular enough, it can be globally accepted as fanon-canon (or near-canon) (See: Lyra), or even reach a point of true canon (See: Derpy Hooves). Of course, if we take out the creation of true canon, something very interesting can occur. Assuming that there's a constant stream of fanon (which I believe there is), and still fans willing to accept it (Hey, there are still Goldeneye players after 14, soon to be 15 years, why wouldn't there still be Bronies?), this fandom can easily become... everlasting, I guess you could say. There are still large groups of fans for things no longer updated, so you can say these are immortal fandoms. Unless we all begin to hate all things pony, including our fanon, because of low quality canon being released, Bronies will last forever. Really, look at my example - Goldeneye. It still has it's following fandom. Don't believe me? Go on YouTube, you'll still find good ol' machinimas, soundtrack uploads, walkthroughs, lets plays, parodies, and videos made with friends. If it is truely loved, it's followers will make it last forever. Also: Queen. There are still TONS of fans. People still listen and love their music. Queen's been gone for a long time, but it still has it's fandom! So, if Queen and Goldeneye can have immortal fandoms, why not Ponies? TLDR: Nightmare Moon: THE BRONIES. WILL LAST. FOREVER!!!

    Robo ponies

These.... Ronies,,, are creeping me out. Somepony, get the RED spy, he'll know how to take care of this!
  10. Mine weren't discorded. Mine were actually Poison Joke! Now, when Discorded... ... Dice Focus suddenly does something nice to a stranger, and treats his little-if-even-existant friends like he normally would strangers. Somebody, grab Discord! ... Azure would become intolerant. Bigtime. ... And I would become a total contradiction. Very violent, and a bit on the nice side.
  11. Dice Focus is the easiest of my characters to make a Poison Joke effect for. He'd become clumsy, and unable to do anything in anything near a straight line. Azure Tune is a bit trickier. He'd probably end up doing everything a bit too strong. Breathing strong, nothing but shouting at the top of his lungs, and playing his flute WAAY too loud (RIP eardrums?) And for me? That's tricky - I don't have many talents. However, I'd probably do everything too soft/weak. Write soft (I can't stand it when my writing is pale and not bold, so I'd flip out), speak soft (flipouts caused by constant need for repitition), and not be able to do much of what I normally do (I can carry heavy things.... I'd die in school if I wasn't as strong as I am. I hate going to my locker, so not being able to constantly carry 22 pounds would DESTROY me)... hey, it'd be funny to my classmates. Pretty much everything is.
  12. My theme song really depends on my mood - when I feel something, I'll FEEL it. For example - Chicago Stealth from Perfect Dark (Sad), Crustacean from Homestuck (Angry, mischevious), And I don't know what would fit me the rest of the time. ^_^;
  13. And I cannot believe it's not butter! Haha, just kidding. I have no problem believing it's not butter, and I have no problem believing you're a brony. Welcome to Canterlot. I'm Lucan, and I try to be as hospitable as possible (Often I fail terribly), though deep inside I'm a whiner (NOT a wino, there's a difference!). Some things you can't change, I guess. I may sound stuck up, but I consider myself and my friends to be awesome. Hopefully you'll be able to join that group one day - who knows, you just might! You seem cool enough - I don't care for anime, but most people who like anime tend to be pretty awesome people. I've never known any anime lover who I found to not be cool. Looking forward to seeing you on the forums!
  14. Here's an interesting idea - The Cake family likely taught Pinkie Pie how to bake. We know that Applejack and Pinkie Pie both bake, so what possibility is there that Pinkie Pie could have taught Applejack how to bake? Applejack may/may not have known Fluttershy before. Rainbow Dash MUST have known Applejack, due to their heated rivalry. Rainbow Dash DID know Fluttershy. They went to flight school together! Pinkie Pie knows all... I wonder HOW she could have met everybody in Ponyville, though. Interesting question. Rainbow Dash must have known Pinkie Pie if Dash goes to see Fluttershy often. Fluttershy lives near Ponyville, after all. Now that I think about it, Fluttershy owns a few farm animals. So does Applejack. Fluttershy seemed to love the idea of giving Rainbow Dash a pet, so Fluttershy may have given Applejack a few farm animals and *much more likely* her dog, too. Rarity probably didn't know Fluttershy, but no guarrantees. Rarity obviously knew Pinkie Pie, WHO DOESN'T? Rarity did NOT know Rainbow Dash, there is no reason for them to have ever met each other. Rarity may/may not have met Applejack. Applejack has gone to town to sell apples, Rarity has probably bought a few from her before. actually, in conclusion for Applejack - she could have easily known the entire mane six minus Twilight Sparkle before Twilight came to town. They all could have purchased apples off of AJ or maybe even had a friendship/kismesisissitude rivalry with her.
  15. TRIPLE ALICORNS ALL THE WAY 'CROSS THE SKY! WAH WAAAH! SO INTENSE! TRIPLE ALICORNS ALL THE WAY 'CROSS THE SKY! WAH WAAAH, OH MY GOD, LOOK AT THAT PONY! On a serious note, it's so bright... so vivid. What could this mean?

    OMG

... I turned in a report, and I got an A on it. When I looked it over, I noticed that I had accidentally put the word "anypony" in it on accident. Mrs. Macomber was an awesome teacher. I've also slipped before, saying "somepony" in the past. Nobody noticed, much to my amusement. Good Celestia, we're being ponified!
  17. Dog and Pony show is the best episode for conversion, ESPECIALLY if that person you're converting has played or seen Minecraft. It works like a charm!
  18. AS A WEAPON! Get it really hot Fill bottles with it Throw bottles They shatter on impact, dealing damage - but that's not all! Your new OATMEAL GRENADES also taste good (besides the glass and blood), and cover your foes in burning, sticky, gooey oatmeal! YAAY! or you can try grinding it up and injecting it into your bloodstream, but what's the fun in that?
  19. Thanks! ... unfortunately, I had to hand the sticker back today. Then I had to explain to one of my other friends (with the help of one of my fellow bronies at the table) why I (a 14 year old boy) had a My Little Pony sticker and what Bronies were. And one of the kids at the table, the newest brony (well, pegasister) in the group, was more than happy to tell us all that she was almost done watching season one. Suddenly, my "SCHOOL PRIDE" stat has been boosted.
  20. I've got a mildly interesting story for you. Day Before Yesterday - New trimester. New classes. New lunch hour. New lunch hour = New people to go sit with at lunch. I found one known brony with a bunch of nerdy girls (One of which, a close friend of mine, didn't let me live down my mlp love at the homecoming dance when I told her about it). I thought they didn't know about his bronydom. Not until he made a daring move. He grabbed his bookbag and put it on the table, proudly showing off his MLP sticker on it - pinkie pie, rainbow dash, and fluttershy on his bookbag. We all loved it, and brohoofed. Before you know it, we're all talking about best pony, remixed pony music, and ponydom in general. Yesterday - I return to the brony table. Again, more pony talk. And fighting over my lunch (I wrestled one of my friends to the ground and even punched a few times when she stole my cookies, bread, and orange - half of my lunch..... meanwhile, my other friend steals my cake. It was given back, crushed, during algebra class (2 hours later). I scolded her, and the teacher was clueless). We can't agree on best pony, so we're all debating if Pinkie Pie or Rainbow Dash takes the prize. Can't wait to see what happens today.
  21. The trick is to avoid saying "pony." Seriously, it works great. "I'm working on a fangame" for me. If you're an artist "I'm good at drawing." Writers.... "I'm skilled at weaving a tale." Those last 2 are merely and theoretical. .... Oh, and I've seen more high school nerds who like MLP than little girls.
