I've noticed a trend between rarity and rainbowdash both receiving their keys. They both were given them by another pony. Coco Pommel gave rarity the rainbow thread after being inspired by rarity's generous spirit and Spitfire presented rainbowdash withthe wonderbolts badge after being inspired by her loyal spirit
