Beat just got finished playing the Beastie Colts when this young filly ran up to her and said "Somepony told me to tell you that your friend DJ Mehdi died." and the filly left "M- Mehdi!?!?" The mare thought, Mehdi was one of her best friends when she was a mare and became a much more popular DJ than her when they grew up, "Whoa, Mehdi, I will not ponies forget about you!" Beat said. The black mare slowly put on a new record, walked up to the microphone and said "K, Everypony, the next song is dedicated to and made by my old friend, DJ Mehdi, Rest in Beats, Old Buddy!"

Beat Match was elated, she could tell the crowd loved her, so she decided to pull out the secret weapon "Make Some Noise by the Beastie Colts, huh? Let's kick it up a notch!" the mare thought. She put the record on carefully to avoid the incident that happened last time she performed. She started the song and said "Are you guys to ready to make some noise!?!" * "* - The song that she played

"Sure, I can help! I have about as much stuff since I'm a DJ, heheh" She used her magic to help lift everything and with her help it only took 4 trips back and forth. , when it was all finished, Beat turned to Re-Roll and said "Happy to help, also my friends or just everyone in general calls me Beat." as she gave him a wink.

Beat smiled one of the biggest smiles she'd ever had as she thought "Dear Celestia, this is gonna be epic!" She walked up to the stage, looked at all the equipment and thought "Wow, this is high tech stuff, I take back what I previously thought about it being epic, this is going to be THE BEST PARTY PHILLYDELPHIA'S EVER HAD!!!" She then looked through the records, until she saw Manticores n Stuff by D3adCat and put it on the turntables. "Hello Everypony! My names beat match, I'm the DJ for this event and I got one question for ya! ARE YOU READY TO PARTY!?!" Just as the drop hit in the song, the party really began.

Beat Match thought about it for a second, "This'll give me great experience and 500 bits is a VERY good price." The mare thought, she smiled and replied "Buck yeah, I'll do it! But only if I get my pick on any of the leftover food after the parties over, and I get to keep some of the equipment, deal?" and stuck her hoof out in the hopes that he would agree and do a hoofshake as she said "Besides, it looks like you need all the help you can get!"

Hey guys, it's your fav electronic pony Beat Match here to take questions! Now, this isn't gonna be that impressive the first episode or two but it'll get better. Ask your questions in the post below and I'll answer em in the first episode. To tide all of you over, enjoy some pre-asked questions! Beat, after having been asleep for 2 hours, suddenly heard the door open. As she groggily woke up and looked around, she left her room and saw a teal colored colt. "Ah! This dude must be my new roomie!" Beat thought to herself. Just as she left the room, she heard him asking "Anypony home?" so she responded with "Hi! I'm Beat Match, what's your name?"

After months of traveling around Equestria and going to raves, Beat Match decided it would be a good time to head to her hometown of Fillydelphia and relax for a while. After 2 days of travel, she was finally home! It was all just as she left it, the atmosphere, the people, even the sidewalks were the same! "It's great to be home!" The mare thought to herself. After getting some lunch, she immediately set out to get an apartment. After 2 hours of apartment hunting, she finally found one she liked. It was Apartment #40 at The Grand Mare. Despite it's name, it was about as impressive as any other apartment out there but Beat liked it because of the acoustics in the rooms. After some mental debating, she decided she would rent the apartment. After she rented the apartment, the landlord told her she would have some roommates. "Roommates?" Beat thought to herself. "I don't care, I'm always open to meeting new ponies!" The mare said. The landlord then gave her the key and she went up to the apartment. No pony was in the apartment at the time so since Beat had a long day, she figured she'd meet her new roomies tomorrow and hit the hay.

I've gotten into the roleplayers group so now I have a question. What do I do and how do I get started? I mean I understand the basic concept but I've never really done anything like this before so it's all new to me.

Name: Beat Match Sex: Female Age: Mare Species: Unicorn Pelt Color:Black Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style:White mane with black tips and white tail with black tips Eye Color: Red Cutie Mark: A dj turntable next to a synthesizer Physique: Thin, tall, a small scar on one of her hooves Origin: Fillydelphia Roleplay Type: Mane Occupation: DJ/Electronic Music Producer Motivation:Getting ponies to party and bringing good music to Equestria. Likes:Turntables, Electronic Music, DJ Pon-3 and ponies who love to party Dislikes: People who insult what she or anyone else does (especially if they dont give a reason). Character Summary: Beat Match was born to Harmony and Fugue from Fillydelphia. As a filly, she never liked her parents classical music, it was always too slow for her. One day, she was with her parents at a music festival when she got seperated from them. She tried to find them but got even more lost. She had just about given up when suddenly, she heard a very loud beat. It was something she'd never heard before! She checked it out and what she saw, she liked! The dancing, the partying, the dj's and most importantly, the music! She partied to the beat until her parents finally found her. Inspired by what she had seen. She decided she would become an DJ/electronic musician herself! It took her many many weeks but she finally saved enough bits. The very next day, she bought a turntable, Neighbleton Live and all the latest songs by artists such as DJ Pon-3, Sapphire Shores and all the other great artists out there. She also bought a synthesizer and some speakers just incase something went wrong. She spent many months perfecting her magic and technique with the turntable and keyboard but she had finally gotten good enough to perform. She convinced her parents to let her perform at the concert hall they usually performed at as part of a music festival that would be going on that weekend. The big night had come, the place was packed, Match was ready. The Glue Factory had just got done with their set and finished with their latest song "Enter Sandpony" and it was time to perform. She stepped onto stage and yelled into the microphone "Let's get this party started, everypony!" She began by playing "Manticores n Stuff by DJ Pon-3" The crowd was getting pumped, she could tell! Beat got lost in the music, the beat and the energy of the crowd when she suddenly heard a fizzle. "Oh, for the love of Celestia" The mare thought. The turntable was shorting out, Beat tried to stop it by putting her hoof on it but that just cut her hoof. She winced in pain but she had more important thing to do than worry about a little cut. She yelled "Sorry guys but we're having a small technical difficulty, I'll be right back!" She sprinted as fast as possible back stage, picked up the synth with her magic and ran back to the stage. She unplugged the turntable and everything else, plugged the synth into the speakers and played. An hour later, she finished to a standing ovation. As Beat left the stage, she looked at her flank to see she had gotten her Cutie Mark! It was a turntable and synthesizer. Now, she knew what she was meant to do. After the show, she was approached by 3 different record labels that all wanted her to join their label. After much consideration, she turned them all down. She had only played one show and she didn't want to be famous quite yet. She still had to get better, after all. So now she's often found at raves all over Equestria, studying and learning how to become a better DJ/Electronic Musician so that one day, she can hit the big time and spread the music to everypony.
