Ironically I was watching Friday the 13th when I noticed this was bumped up. so for a minute, really thought it was about the movie instead of the day.

Right now I'm actually trying to go back to a comfort zone in a way. I used to do theater a lot in high school, and now I'm trying to go back to that with community theater. It's hard because I have trouble dealing with a new group of people, but it's going to be easier because I understand and love theater. So I'm hoping that I actually get in a show somewhere and can meet some new people and make some new friends. I want to recommend This Book Will Change Your Life to everyone here. It's a book of daily instructions that are sometimes completely insane. I did it a while back, the entire book and halfway through the sequel, and it was fun and definitely life changing. It's just a small way to shake up your routine and force you to try new things.

Pixel dolls are a form of art which is entirely digital. Artists provide bases, which are hairless, clothesless, and sometimes featureless bodies, and then they or other artists use these bases to create characters. Here's the Mane 6, and I plan to be making more. They're not actual ponies because 1. I couldn't find a good base for that, and 2. this was more fun. any comments are welcome. I know AJ's hat is a little wonky, but other than that I'm satisfied with this.

I like this analogy, but as a huge Phantom of the Opera nerd I have to point out that Erik was portrayed as a character who was past redemption because he gave in to his dark side and committed such terrible evils that forgiveness was beyond him. Actually, I could see Discord as sort of the same. He's evil, and definitely likeable, but he's never going to be 'good'.

I love Derpy and I love Doctor Whooves, but I just can't understand why they're shipped together so often. And the idea that it's apparently accepted fanon instead just a few shippers, it makes me rage more than it should. Also I hate the term 'pegasister' too. If girls can be bros, girls can be bronies.

I'm currently working on a short story for a creative writing class. It's about five people who wake up in a room that seems to defy the laws of physics, they have no memory of how they got there, and they don't know how to get out. It's kind of a horror scifi mystery thing with a little romance.

Logically, aliens have to exist. If the universe is infinite, there's no possible way we're the only intelligent life. Do I believe we'll meet them in our lifetime? Not likely. I definitely believe in ghosts. I've seen two.

I just recently changed from a Verizon LG En-V to a Samsung Galaxy S. I absolutely love the new phone but I'm still getting used to typing on it.

I'm 5'6".

I know it could be a lot worse. I just really don't like having things out of my control or changing and that's honestly probably more of the issue than not seeing my guy. But thanks for your advice and for letting me vent, you've all already helped a lot.

I'm going crazy and I don't know who else to turn to for advice, so I'm going to all of you. My boyfriend and I live about 30 minutes apart. Normally, this isn't a problem. But recently his car broke down and it looks like it can't be fixed. Without a car, we can't get together. So 30 minutes can now feel like 300 miles. We agreed to try and see each other at least once a week, but it all depends on the whims of whoever he borrows a car from. And even then, once a week is a big change from us seeing each other almost daily. There's always Skype and we already constantly text, but it's not the same. I don't know how to deal with this. I'm not really good with change, and this is just such an abrupt one that it's killing me.

I'm not big into St. Patrick's Day. It's not that I hate it, I just don't consider it a major holiday. Unfortunately, around here, that's considered the same thing. I grew up in a place where literally no one cared, now I'm in a place where there's a huge St. Patrick's parade every year. I just find it really weird when my only celebration before was wearing a little green. And as for Valentine's, since we're all talking about it, I've always loved it. Even when I was single. I loved getting conversation hearts (but not any more since they changed the recipe and they taste funny) I loved getting cards, even if they were from classmates forced to give me cards and from my parents. It's just fun. Now that I do have a boyfriend, I still consider it just fun. We get to splurge on a nice dinner out that we can't afford most of the time, but other than that, it's not a huge deal.

I heard aout the show, couldn't understand why it was so popular, but I happened to have the Hub so I figured it couldn't hurt to check it out. The episode that happened to be on when I tried watching it was The Best Night Ever. I wasn't too impressed at first. Some of the jokes were okay, but it seemed still like a show really just for little kids. Then they started singing. My reaction: holy [buck] is that Sondheim? And I was hooked.

Did anyone else think the villain's lair kind of looked like the ape kingdom from The Jungle Book? Easily could have been referencing something else, but looks so like it to me. also: how did Rainbow Dash get up to her house at the end if she couldn't fly?

Here's a new one I'm working on. Still a work in progress (right now it's drying after washing off the chalk lines). I know I need to touch up the paint. I do think that adding the bit of white on the pupil helped. I'm not sure if I want to add in the detail lines at all. I'll definitely add some in for her eyelashes, but beyond that, it doesn't look as blobby as the first one did. Anyone have an opinion?

I'm currently reading a lot of books. Such is the life of an English major. For classes, I'm reading Huck Finn, Vida, Charlie Chan Is Dead 2, I, Lucifer, and American Food Writing. for myself, I'm reading Mary Called Magdalene. It's a really interesting book.

I'm in my third year of studying English. Still have no idea what I'm going to do with my degree.

I would like to see Doctor Whooves as an adult in a flashback. to prove he's a time traveler. This may have happened? But I've never noticed.

I married Twilight Sparkle. I can live with this. or by colors, I married Celestia, Soarin, Apple Bloom, Nightmare Moon, and Doctor Whooves. I kind of prefer that, at least there's some colts in there.

I noticed this too, and it perfectly fits with my headcanon. that AJ's parents are definitely dead, but Applejack herself was young when it happened and Apple Bloom was only an infant. Big Mac is really the only one of the siblings old enough to remember them, and so I say that's why he cries.

I'd first talk to this Girl. Sounds like she's the root of a lot of problems. The way you're describing her, it doesn't sound like she's treating you as a joke: she actually thinks you are in a relationship with her. Set her straight on that first. Then talk to your friend. She probably doesn't blame you for anything. I don't even see why she would. She chose to watch the show and she chose to let other people know that she watches it. No one would give her a hard time if she'd said it was crap. Honestly, her reaction to your being a brony makes me think she might have a crush on you. Or she thinks you're gay and she's excited to have a gay best friend, because girls will think like that sometimes. Either way, talking to her will resolve that. If you want to start the conversation by apologizing, it can't hurt, but don't be surprised if her reaction is confused.
