3) What is the deal with the Pegasi (except Pound Cake) and their lack of family? Dash, Fluttershy and Scootaloo apparently don't belong to anypony from what they've shown us.

Maybe one of them at first and see where it goes. I think Sweetie Belle is the likeliest to get hers first, then Scootaloo, then Apple Bloom.
