MidnightBlackhorn
Hey Everypony!Want a short story written about your OC?Post a request for it here with a link to their character app and [optional] some idea of what happens in the story (Like if you want me to include certain details about their house or something like that. details, details) , and when I get some free time, I'll work on it.RULESI don't do anything involving 18+ content or horrorI will not include any cast characters (even if you have an approved cast character, it's not happening). If you wouldn't see it in ManeRP or Crossovers, it won't happen hereEvery piece will, unless you ask me not to, probably be posted on my FIMfiction account. I will give you credit for the character, don't worry1 story per person at any given time (I wont work on 2 stories at once for the same person)DON'T RUSH ME! I'm a busy person, and only write when I have time. It could take anywhere from 2 days to a month, so be patient.I reserve the right to refuse any request, or cancel a story at any given time.Other than those few rules, anything goes! If you have any questions, PM me. Leave this topic for the requests only.Hope to write your story soon!~Eric
Blueblood
Well, to start off this thread, I'd like a story about how Wordsworth Psmith first met his friend Might Batsman (both my OC's). They'd be at boarding school, and Psmith (He always prefers ponies to use his last name) would probably drag Might into a situation of escalating weirdness, all the while keeping a kind of whimsical detachment about the business. I don't know what the plot would be, probably about trying to claim the dorm study lounge as his own personal room, or starting a Socialist Society to stir things up. In any case, both of them would have been sent from schools they liked better, so neither of them would care very much about what this school though of them. A kind of early P.G. Wodehouse kind of story, is what I'm trying to say.

Blueblood
Um, hm, I was going to suggest "Enter Psmith," but that's kind of been taken already.
MidnightBlackhorn
http://www.fimfiction.net/chapter/196584Here is part of it. I'm not done yet, but tell me what you think so far
Blueblood
I... kind of expected Psmith to talk a lot more, to be honest. You've got Might down pretty well near how I've pictured him, but Psmith...Well, here's an example of how I play him. (Probably should have linked you to this sooner). MidnightBlackhorn
Ah, that makes sense. I was going to have him be more talkative in the second half but I can edit it to make him talk more at the beginning. I was a little worried about that, so that's why I showed it to ya. Don't worry, I'm nowhere near done yet
Blueblood
Thanks for understanding. I didn't want to nitpick; you're the author, not me. Still, as I know Psmith, he's the sort that would probably add some droll commentary to the sudden hoof-wrestling match in front of him, and probably have tried to verbally score off on Steel Hoof before hand. And to be perfectly honest, the bully does have this to say for himself: Psmith can be annoying, and it might be helpful to show that.
MidnightBlackhorn
Very good points. And don't worry, as the creator of the character you get say too of course
MidnightBlackhorn
Take another look at it. I edited it a little. Let me know if I was closer this time
Blueblood
Hm, yes, that is a little better, though I still don't know about Psmith. He's not so much a polysyllabic nerd as much as a wordy young aristocrat. More of a monocle than a pair of glasses. Not the sort to suggest a chess match off-hand. Think... Bertie Wooster with enough of a brain to not require Jeeves.

Blueblood
You're not familiar with the Jeeves and Wooster series by PG Wodehouse? I kind of based Psmith on a character from that kind of Edwardian-England setting. They're really good books on their own account; check them out.Um, if you don't understand the reference, just keep in mind that he's an English/Philosophy guy, not a math/logic guy. Like I said, not inclined to chess, but to diplomatic negotiation, which is more his forte. He tries to be humorous and clever when he talks, but he's always a little long-winded. That's what I'm trying to get across here.Sorry if all of this gets a little frustrating; I know its not always easy writing for someone else's characters. Drowzy
well he does obsesses over little details when he does seem like he is not paying attention to things when he actually is, but other than that and the information i provided you may indulge yourself in creative freedom on the character i am interested to see what you come up with
