She received her mark on a stormy night when she helped to get her sister home one day from school on a stormy night. Her younger sister was scared of the storm and didn't want to move so Shadow flew up into the sky and raced around to show her sister not to fear and to keep strong in the face of something that looks intimidating. The storm cloud on her flank shows her love of storms of all sorts and her willingness to work through the storm in front of her. (Note the storm also reflects her stormy past, described in more detail in her history)HistoryShadow Chaser was born and raised in Ponyville the daughter of scholars Golden Eye and Deep Thinker. She never seemed to get along with her parents. They never seemed to have enough time for their daughter, spending most of their time off gallivanting around the Everfree Forest conducting research on the Flora and fauna. They preferred to leave their daughter with a foal sitter when she was not otherwise engaged with school of flight camp. When she received her cutie mark her parents sent her to live in Cloudsdale with her aunt so that she could continue her education there and work towards her ultimate career, and more importantly they got her out of their manes so they could concentrate on their work. Shadow’s younger sister, a filly named Shady Breeze. Shadow Chaser has struggled through the storm that she calls a life, taking care of her younger sister, and even bringing the filly with her when she managed to get a job with weather working in Trottingham. She has grand goals to possibly become the leader of a weather team of her own, though she is quite content in the life she has now. Shadow first became intrested in the weather team when she moved to Cloudsdale with her aunt. being a normal healthy pegasus she always felt at home in the sky and had always been intrested in the storms that the pegasus ponies were capable of producing. When she got to Cloudsdale she got to explore the weathermaking herself.Character SummaryShadow is a mare that finds great interest in weather, especially those freak natural things that take place in certain areas of the globe. She is exceptional at weather working and is not so bad in a race either though her true heart lives with the weather. She is motivated everyday by the prospect of helping her sister to get through life and to teach her the values that her parents missed out on teaching her. All she really hopes for in the future is that her sister becomes the best that she can in life. She loves to work with the clouds, whether it is simply attempting a cloud sculpture or placing clouds for a storm. She values hard work and dislikes others who think they can slack off and then get the job done at the last minute. On her time off she is especially fond of chilling with her friends and even teaching her sister a few tricks of flight. In general she is an overall, calm, level-headed mare that finds talking to others among some of the things she is good at. Yes she may have made some enemies over the years, but she generally tends to try and keep from doing that too often. As obvious, she is not the perfect mare that her parents wanted. She does not tend to agree with her parents and can’t seem to ever agree with them. While she is an exceptional flyer she tends to trip over things while her four hooves are on the ground, why she has even tripped over nothing in particular once or twice. While there is nothing in particular that she is afraid of per say she does tend to get worried that something may happen to her or her sister and that they would have to go back to live with her aunt, or even worse, with her parents.MotivationShe is motivated to be her best so that she might give herself and her sister an edge in the world that they live in. She received her mark on a stormy night ... (I think you can delete the first sentence since you explain it in the next part.)Now a few questions to consider: What is her motivation in life? (You should put this in a seperate section) What are her character flaws? How did she get interested in the Weather Team and what is her exact job there since a pegasus can do everything from moving clouds to kicking them to make rain, to even making rainbows? Not only was there already an existing application in this section with the name Storm Chaser, but it appears to already be taken by an approved Pegasus.
