He thought about what had lead up to this. "[colour=#0000cd]All right, little lady. I owe you for taking out of your normal routines. I came here for a certain item for somepony. That panic happened sooner than I expected and I got tripped up. Neither my original plan or my fall back plan would work so I had to improvise. And here you are." [/colour]Mercurius looked around, and mumbled, "[colour=#0000cd]I hope those friends of yours can find you, I don't want to be known as a thief who uses ladies as shields." [/colour]Shaking his head he spoke up,[colour=#0000cd] "I am sorry about this little lady. All I know is that they wanted an object that would be here today. As for how I got it, well. . . " [/colour]he paused trying to think up a lie and failing, "[colour=#0000cd]I stole it from a mare, so it just found its way to me." I've never seen that watch before, and it looks like just an ordinary pocket watch that could be, like you said, an heirloom. He could feel his horn start to light with a dark aura that he quickly stopped. He would save that for marcurius, oh yes. He knew that finding Lovinity would be important but so would finding his pocket watch but something wasn't right about this. There were more pieces to this puzzle then Time knew. Marcurius, Lovinity, Flashbomb, The pocket watch, Silver Star,...and maybe even showboat. They all have a piece to this puzzle and then there was what Deity said. Memory loss? Was Time suffering from amnesia? He thought about asking Flashbomb about it but then shrugged it off. After all Flashbomb was only part of the adventure from hearts and hooves day. The Osprey followed close behind him as he flew. He wondered what time was going to do when he found marcurius. He shook it off, they had to find Lovinity first and thats what mattered. Time seemed to believe somepony named 'Marcurius' was the thief, and was responsible for Lovinity going missing. They said he walked with Showboat and Silver Star. [/colour]After facehoofing for being stupid, he joined back in. It seems they agreed to look outside Canterlot. Showboat simply nodded, not wanting to let his annoyance with the situation slip out. She ended up triping on a crack in the road and a Silver and light blue necklace fell out of her saddle bag (Hearts and hoovs day ref. Hint hint timespinner) She quickly leavetated it back into her saddle bag and stood next to timespinner. "This dosent look good" She whispered to herself. [/colour]Showboat whisper-yelled in a very unusually serious voice. [colour=#0000cd]I didn't say you could take over! "[/colour][colour=#000080]Time , you're ruining our tactical advantage. His temper started to rise when he saw that Lovinity was tied up. He flew faster and ahead of the others. He had to do something to save her. He then saw the pocket watch in his hoof and his heart sank. He landed just far enough to yell at Him.[colour=#0000FF] "Mercurius Let Lovinity go!" [/colour]He hollered at him. He had to be carefull because he had her hostage and had the Pocket watch. He didnt know what he would do with it but he knew it could be bad. The osprey landed on his back and screeched at him.
