A light grey, similar to pencil lead. It's somewhat scruffy and thick. Her bangs are somewhat curly.

Residence: Canterlot

Occupation: Artist

Cutie Mark: A paintbrush with a brown handle and dipped in green paint. She got her cutie mark one day after attending school. It was the first day anypony in her grade had had Art Class, and everpony was excited. The Art teacher allowed each filly and foal to their own mediums. Some fillies chose to work on paper mache, while the colts pounded clay into the rough shapes of princesses, dragons, and brave knights in armor. Doodle Doo immediately chose paint, excited to work with the colours. At first she could barely hold the brush, not used to having to delicately move a brush to mimic the scene she desired to paint. The teacher announced it was time to clean up, leading Doodle Doo to be frustrated, considering she had only gotten a tiny portion of the painting done. Her week after that when the class had art class Doodle Doo continued to work on the painting, get more and more done each week as she mastered the skill of using the paint brush. When she finished she signed her painting, proudly stamping her initials into the corner. She proudly showed everyone, including the teacher. Everyone was gawking at her, and she began to wonder if something had gone wrong, or if she had messed up the order of the colours on the rainbow she wanted to paint so much. It turned out, however, that she had finally received her cutie mark.

History:

She was born in Canterlot, where she lived until she and her family had to move. They lived in Ponyville, where she attended school. She was a little awkward, often stumbling when it came to answering questions in class even if she knew the answers. She did have friends though that she easily related to, often hanging out with them after school and (sometimes) getting in trouble with them. When she reached High School, she took more of an interest in the arts, taking part in different varieties of classes related to music, arts, and other forms of creativity. She lived in Ponyville for a few years, continuing to go to school. She got a tuition to go to a Music & Arts school in Manehatten, where she went for four years. After she graduated from the school, she moved to Canterlot. She is a very successful artist, going to important events and painting various scenes going on.

Character Summary:

Doodle Doo is not only an amazing painter, she can also do a series of other things. She's fairly good at writing, especially when it comes to speeches or poems. She also loves science and reading, taking time out of her day to study science and read book if she can. When painting, she'll most likely be listening to Indie Pop music, or instrumental songs. However, she is terrified of public speaking and is somewhat terrible at math. One of her bigger flaws is letting people push her over, although she can stand up for herself is her buttons are being pushed. One thing that always pushes her forward no matter what is the fact that her parents told her she couldn't, she made her work even harder to get a successful career in being an Artist. One of her worries though is that eventually people will stop commissioning her art, and she'll be forced to move back in with one of her parents.

While she is very kind, helpful, and enjoys making friends, she is somewhat introverted. She loves to spend time with her thoughts and books. However, she does enjoy going places such as art galleries to show case her art and to admire other ponies work. She loves to talk about things that she's passionate about, and it's hard to stop her from talking about some artist she met at a gallery or something cute Sim, her pet sloth, did. She's soft-spoken but does have a harsher side, especially if somepony annoys her too much. Her pet sloth named Sim w lives in the second floor of her apartment. The second floor has a high ceiling and an skylight, which allows for a tree to be growing in the apartment that Sim usually resides on. The first floor of her apartment is used for her art-related work and projects, while the second floor is mostly for recreational uses or where her kitchen and other related things are.

Howdy, and thank you for applying for a WoE character! You have a good framework for your OC, but there are a few changes that you'll have to make first before we can approve your OC.

First off, Doodle Doo's hooves cannot be permanently stained with paint, since paint is incapable of doing that to skin or animal coats. You're more than welcome however to feature natural splotches on your character's hooves that look like paint.

Also, your OC's parents shouldn't be abusive or unsupportive or anything else of that nature. FiM depicts an Equestria where broken households don't exist, and WoE strives to emulate this environment as closely as possible. By all means give your character a hardship or two in her life, but they shouldn't mess with the slice-of-life theme of the WoE RP in the process.

In addition, you should really reconsider how antisocial your OC is. For one thing, she'll have to be social if she wants her artwork to get noticed and convince ponies to commission her. Also keep in mind that the main "goal" of WoE is to have your character make friends, so you'll have to provide plenty of cues in your Summary as to how she ends up making friends along with listing the qualities that make her friendable. The more shy your character is, the harder it'll be to get good use out of her in WoE.

If you follow the suggestions above, we can get this app approved in no time! :D

Hiya!

A light grey, similar to pencil lead. It's somewhat scruffy, similar to Rainbow Dash's but much thicker. Her bangs are somewhat curly.

Let's try changing that Rainbow Dash reference. The reason for this is that your character should be unique on her own, without the need to reference other characters. You can just say "her mane is scruffy and thick" to get the job done.

Cutie mark story: I think you should try to clarify what's going on here. You said she busted a bottle of paint all over the classroom, ran home, hid, and got her cutie mark? I don't quite understand what you're trying to describe here

I think you should try to add more to your story and explain why, exactly, she got her cutie mark, and what it means as part of being her special talent. I like her personality description. You might mention who Sim is before talking about him, which means you just have to shift two sentences for clarity. Other than that, this looks good! I like your picture; this OC is quite cute! :)
