Character Summary:

Naughty Tortie was named for the wild, playful nature she's had even since she was foal, and her pelt and mane colors being similar to the tortoiseshell cats that reside in the wilderness. When her parents saw that she befriended some of those cats, they knew the name was a perfect fit.

Naughty Tortie is a high-spirited, strong-willed pony who enjoys running around and acting a bit, well, wild. She grew up with her father on Roughrider Ridge and has always done whatever she pleased during the day. One of her favorite activities is having fun with a small group of feral cats she's friends with and can communicate with. They'll get up to all sorts of trouble, occasionally pulling pranks on passing ponies and playing around with whatever they think of that day. Tortie tends to act younger than her age, and usually dislikes the idea of going into any sort of town, instead preferring to stay in the wilderness. She earned her cutie mark one day when she met a cat she'd never seen before. Her friends disliked the new comer, but she was able to convince them to be nicer to the other cat. That day she realized that cats weren't only her friends, getting along with them was her affinity. Tortie doesn't know exactly what she'll do with her talent (She realizes she'll need some sort of job someday.) but right now she's happy with her life, and that's what really matters.
