Name: Shadowfrost

Gender: Male

Age: Stallion

Species: Unicorn

Eye colour: Icy blue

Character colour: White

Mane/Tail/Other: Striped bright blue and green mane and tail.

Physique: Thin and towering. Often seen with a loosely attached black cloak with a big hood that tends to put a shadow before his eyes. He's often carrying his bow and quiver on a hold by his side below the robe.

Residence: The pirates FreeWings' ship.

Occupation: Sharpshooter, as he prefers to call it.

Cutie Mark: A bow with a piece of glass covered in frost charged on the string.

Unique Traits: Shadowfrost is a pony with a 'glimpse in the eye'. He really like to joke around with ponies and is just as soon with giving a bit of himself to laugh at as he is with joking with others. He often shows a tricky smile while being involved in a conversation with anypony but the captain. If something of the more pranky sort happens on the ship he's often the first one to be blamed. Shadowfrost finds a joy in giving a nickname to all and each except the captain who he possesses an enormous amount of respect for and the captain is simply called 'Captain'. Everypony else can occasionally be called stuff as: Hot shot or Mr Swabby. Some find his jokes and nicks funny and enjoy his company while some think that he's a plain pain and the main cause of all possible headache. Shadowfrost got a tongue which is a bit quicker than his head and that might put him on the 'black list' to some ponies but he usually have nothing but good intentions.

He's also known to close his left eye and slightly stick out his tongue while aiming the bow. Which to his great concern tends to be used against him in argues because it's one of few things that he's ashamed of. Shadowfrost really like to take naps when he's not working; he's hard to wake up if nopony shouts his name and he can be a bit lumpish, just like anypony else, when he's newly awake.

History: Shadowfrost was raised by his parents in a wealthy part of Manehattan. Even though he lived a good life with warm food and a warm bed; he still felt an attraction beaming from the docks and the poorer part of the town. That was where things happened, where the suspension was and the adventures happened! He then told his parents that he would like to explore the less wealthy parts of the town. The parents was a bit strained at first, they wanted him to grow up as a well mannered stallion with true class, but that didn't appeal to Shadowfrost at all. Growing up as a tight suit, first class, fancy talking swell was the worst thing he could possibly imagine. He begged his parents until they allowed him to go and get a job there on a grocery as an errand boy and they also allowed him to live in the shop as well.

The last few days was a pretty tough time for him. When the bits didn't quite make up; he started to pick pock and fraud among other less legal things. Shadowfrost was firstly introduced to the art with bow and arrows by one of his costumers. The stallion had a huge collection with bows and arrows but didn't have any bits to give Shadowfrost. Instead he fetched one of his inferior bows and gave it to him; said that he could probably sell it. Shadowfrost was intrigued with this new object and decided to try it out. In lack of proper arrows he picked up a piece of glass with his magic and charged the bow with it. It was a fairly good shot. Shadowfrost picked up a rock and began to grind the piece of glass and with some days practice he actually managed to be really good with his bow and glass. This was around the same time he got his cutiemark which look was accurate to his bow skills as well as it show's how capable he is to fire a phrase or arrow that can feel like a piece of a sharp, frost covered glass to the mind and body. One day, when he got away a really nice shot that hit an apple from an impressive length, a pony named GangPlank walked up to him. He had apperently been observing Shadowfrost for some days ever since he had heard that there was a stallion with a sharp sight down these quarters of Manehattan. GangPlank had been most impressed by Shadowfrost's shooting and had finally decided to trot up to him and offer a place among the FreeWings' ranks. He was caught by the way the captain spoke about what he will experience if he joined them as a sharpshooter! The thrilling, the action, the crew, the shooting, the bits! The only thing that bothered him from joining right away was his parents, and he decided to have a talk with them about where he was going so they'd at least know where he was. It would be the first time for his parents to not have him a few blocks away. Shadowfrost's parents was delighted that their once restless colt had grown into a proper stallion with a real job offer and said without hesitation that he may go and live his own life! Though they weren't quite informed that he was about to join a pirate crew. Even when they find out they were quiet about it because they knew that their son had grown up enough to make his own decisions and they couldn't really turn in their son even if they wanted to because they would be putted in some serious trouble along with losing their reputation. Shadowfrost joined the crew almost instantly and is now happily living with his second family: The FreeWings. Even though he like to hop in by his parents house every time they visit Manehattan's harbor.

Character Summary: Shadowfrost is a happy stallion; always with a joke on the top of his tongue and a smile shining on his face. He possess a dazzling charisma which he intend to use whenever there's a window. Every time he finds something funny he'll execute a muted giggle which makes his whole body judder in joy. Shadowfrost enjoys it when he has ponies' attention and makes sure to make the time they pay him worth it. Pickles is by far his favorite food and he could spend a whole afternoon just eating them. Naps is one of his most creative sides; he's able to take a nap anywhere, anytime, anyhow and sometimes has to be found first in order to perform his duty. Though he has learned to tell somepony where he's going before he actually goes to sleep. Shadowfrost is easily bored and will make sure to tell everypony about it if nopony tells him to shut it. Is there something called 'dramaking'? Because that's totally what he can be from time to time. Waiting is something he can hardly stand if it's not involved on his part of the mission and don't let me get started with slow ponies. Being a pirate is not necessarily a tough life if you know how to handle it and if you can make sure to not be forced to work that much. Most of it checks out but there is a thing or two I apparently missed

a pony named GangPlank walked by. He was impressed by Shadowfrost's shooting and trotted up to him to offer a place among the FreeWings ranks.

To be a lil frank? GangPlank wouldn't be impressed by a one time shot, he probably was interested the first time but then would stick around and watch him a bit first BEFORE offering the job.

I get the whole young thing but could you age him a little bit so it feels less like crib robbing? If you are young enough to ask your parents permission the chances are you are too young in GangPlank's mind to be a pirate :)

Other than that everything checks out with me
