Name: Keen Edge

Gender: Male

Age: Older Teen

Species: Minotaur

Eye color: Dark Green

Character color: Light Brown fur with Birch colored pants.

Mane/Tail/Other: Brown Red, almost cinamon

Physique: Well built upper body, with less muscles in his legs. Still ripped everywhere.

Residence: Edge of Ever Free Forest

Occupation: Lumberjack

Unique Traits: Mane length grows past his shoulders. His woodcutting axe is a full sized double headed waraxe, which he wields in one hand.

History: As a Minotaur, he didn't get much time with his parents. His mom was the only other Minotaur he knew until he was , and by then he had been independent for two. He originally took Lumberjack as just a hobby, using just a larger woodcutter's axe to take down a tree with an hours work. He quickly found he enjoyed it though. The pay was okay, nobody bothered him, and he soon began his own private lumber business. Private as in just him.

He has been independent since near his young adult life. Though one would usually become accustomed to solitude after such a time, he still craves the time with others. Time he doesn't get because of his demeaning stature. He just assumes he is unlikable though.

He doesn't know the world outside his immediate area. He built the house himself. Needless to say nobody else wants to go in the sideways looking house, but he sees no problem with it.

Character Personality: He likes his alone time and thinking. He considers himself a deep thinker, though he only thinks on subjects like, "What if the sky was NOT blue?" In this way he is sensitive, never trying to prove himself physically but rather mentally, which usually fails. After that he proves himself physically by chopping a tree apart with a few swings, which eases his stress.

He never hurts anybody though if he were approached by a friend, he'd welcome them inside and have a chat about life and business. He never really has the friends to do that with. Though not giving, he pays his debts off faster than he could run to the collector's house and pound him into canceling the charges. Not that he would do that, he just knows he can.He likes a challenge. He will nearly always beat any other in a physical competition, He wants to think he will win at chess, checkers, four in a row, tic-tac-toe, etc, but that does not turn out well most of the time. Sore looser, but he takes it out on his job, cutting trees until they are mere chips.

Argumentative to the point where he will make an argument in a bad mood just for the sake of having an excuse to chop a tree. This leads to him dealing with problems not by talking them out but by bottling them up.

Keen Edge is thick in more ways than one. He is tough to reason with, while at the same time is very firm in his beliefs and opinions. Never one to be surprised, he laughs and says he saw it mile away, using his constantly blank face as a tool. He is actually deeply afraid of heights. He doesn't want to fall like the trees do and get himself broken.

He has a motto as well. "I wish trees were bigger. Then there might not be such tiny splinters."

Character Summary: Keen Edge is strong. Keen edge thinks he is smart. If you prove him wrong, he proves his strength can make up for it. Enjoys getting things done, challenges, and the sound of a tree falling in the forest when no one else is around. Dislikes laziness, mundane or easy tasks, and overly talkative ponies. Secretly afraid of heights. Thinks he is smart. Sore looser.

He doesn't really dwell on it too much, as no one likes bad feelings, but he would like more of his kind to talk to. Someone to just chop wood and "hang out", whatever that means. It's surprising how hard it is to come by another minotaur nowadays.

He once thought about trading the war axe for something newer and more utility, but ever since the everfree attack he as assured himself that "It could happen again!" and keeps it around for self defense. Nevermind the fact him carrying it anywhere he does work makes ponies not want to talk to him. Only while working, as it is heavy and dangerous if he drops it.

Keen Edge talks normally, unless excessively angered. Then he talks in third person. He's still trying to make it so that he talks in second person when getting irritated, but forced habits don't come easily.

Thank you for expressing interest in Canterlot Chronicles! However the main issue is that this character..quite frankly this character doesn't fit FIM at all, he's violent, nasty, and rude...and while CC is more lenient with character designs, the constant mention of beating people up, threatening their lives and other things that make this character seem like one nobody is going to want to interact with.

I suggest severely toning down that brutal hostility.
