Roleplay Type: WoE

Name: Punk Walker

Sex: Male

Age: Stallion

Species: Pegasus

Eye colour: Bright blue

Coat: White as his innocence. Punk commonly wears his REA armor when he's on duty and he would also use it for his own purposes if he was allowed to. The armor is made of golden plates which builds a big part the body armor and helmet. On top of the helmet is a brush in the same color as his mane but Punk doesn't like to wear it and takes it off whenever he can.

Mane/Tail: Striped mane and tail with two different tunes of red. One darker and one brighter tune. The mane is kept short and combed backwards, making the v-shaped scalp completely displayed. The hair look could give a feeling of that the stallion is going really fast. Punk's tail is in normal length but is rather worn out and with multiple coils from several knife-tail-tricks attempts.

Physique: The Pegasus is slightly skinnier than the average pony of Equestria and he doesn't have much strength in either hoofs or wings. What Punk lacks in strength, he got in agility, he can often easily avoid hits and throws in his direction, if not completely taken by surprise, or during his beauty sleep. Though he doesn't have a very good endurance and gets tired quickly,

Residence: Canterlot

Occupation: Member of the Royal Equestrian Army. Stationed in Canterlot but is always flexible for moving around Equestria in her majesty's honour.

Cutie Mark: A pumpkin with a bite mark which symbolizes his ability to cheat himself through many of the hits and problems which might come dashing in his direction (Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater). Though the stallion tend to say that it has more to do with his liking for pumpkins. Punk got his cutie mark one day during the ordinary days in the school. It was a sunny day and our beloved little colt had, as expected, not done his homework for the day. Their homework had been to write two pages about the progress how cherries grew on trees. A very boring homework in Punk's opinion and thus he kept pushing it forward, telling himself that he'd do it another day.

I guess this would go without saying but he was totally unprepared when the day came and the little colt was supposed to orally present his work. Shivering did he sit by his bench and he knew that he would get punished for being so idle. Punk would surely not only have to redo the work, he would also have to do extra work. The pure thought gave him stomachache. The colt glanced on his brother, Walk Walker, next to him and saw that the pony had at least five pages about the subject. Punk thought swiftly before he came up with a possible solution. He 'dropped' his pencil by his neighbor's seat so it reached to other side of Walk Walker. When he then asked him to pick it up for him; Punk quickly snatched to first two pieces of paper and laid them on his own desk. The pony didn't notice the exchange. Punk began the copying with post haste. His pencil practically flew over the paper as he reworded, added, deleted, moved and mixed parts of the text. The colt then reached the papers back to Walk Walker and told him that Walk had dropped them.

Nopony ever noticed that he had taken the text from somepony else and the brother he had taken it from, who actually noticed the similarities with his own text, didn't have the heart to blow the gaff. Though he made sure to give Punk a piece of his mind when they got home. With a little charm, jocularity and a whole lot of personal thoughts, he actually managed to pass with a descent grade. Punk felt like he had achieved such a great success that he didn't notice his cutie mark until he had stopped his bouncing home.

History: Punk was born in Canterlot during the spring. He was, at the time, the forth progeny of the family, which finally ended up with eight brothers and two sisters. The foal was born buff but his appearance changed as he reached his teens. Punk was very thin comparing to his family. His brothers were almost always nice to him and they helped him in his daily struggles and didn't mention his lack of muscles. As long as they weren't angry, that is. Punk was pretty perky and outgoing towards other ponies and he would tend to speak of himself like he was the top of the world. He was grudging when it came to sharing his property and slow with doing his duties. In his early age, many would describe him as: Arrogant, lazy, outgoing, humorous, witty, selfish and little Mr. Myway Mydoing.

Punk didn't want to do the exercises in school because of his body. His unwillingness was noticed by his father, Brass Hat, and Punk was put to do exercises while he was at home. The father had told the other children to be rougher with Punk so that he could build the mental strength in order to make him work harder. It hurt the colt a bit more than he was willing to admit. He knew that his father just cared for his best and wouldn't do it if it wasn't what was needed, but it felt wrong... After a couple of years of side-training, Punk did actually build up his strength to a level where he managed to take part in the classes without making himself look like a weak coward. Something the colt enjoyed with his father's training was the agility exercises, it was one of times he truly felt like he succeeded and made Brass Hat proud. He could fly through the air and catch the six rings his father threw in different directions without dropping them once. He could parry and dodge Brass Hat's darting stick with a very high accuracy though the actual hitting with a stick wasn't his supreme skill.

A lot of things happened with Punk when Fire Walker was born and raised into the family. He had left his own practicing behind several years ago when his father was pleased with his son's strength but then, stunned by the fact, did the stallion see the history repeat itself. Fire had been born weak and sick and grew even thinner than Punk had. During the years to come was he told treat his younger sister the same way in order to build her mentality. A request which was too harsh for the stallion to execute. It had been one thing when they had made him suffer the taunting, that had been to make a stallion of a colt. Though that, that was just pure bullying and playing with a filly's feeling. Punk Walker couldn't accept that. He knew how it felt to be nagged at. When the rest of the brothers gave Fire a bit of a hard time; he would just walk away in a silent protest against the actions. It felt even worse when he saw how mad his beloved little sister became. She had gone from an innocent filly to a bully. That's when Punk lost a lot of faith in the authority. The authority made what it thought was right but was never present when it was executed, and was never a victim of it. Rules are unjust and injustice is bad.

The stallion joined the REA boot camp. It wasn't anything fancy or extraordinary with that, his brothers had gone there and he wanted to do something which he was certain he could comprehend. The camp was funny and exciting for Punk. There was a lot of ponies around the camp along with some bloating officers pointing their noses up high as they marched by. Punk had a lot of fun during the boot camp, he made some new friends, got one or two enemies and had a lot of fun messing with the strict rules. He did once throw his helmet over the border of the camp and then couldn't come properly dressed to the line up because it would be against the rules to fetch it. Many of the instructors thought he was a pain and frequently tried to get him punished for something while Punk often got away with his little cheats. It became a little game about who could get Punk busted, there where even bets about when, how and by who he'd get busted next time. This continued throughout the boot camp and Punk found a lot of pleasure in their little game even though he wasn't always victorious. The stallion managed to pass the boot camp and become a guard but it was a very thin line between failing and succeeding. It was mostly because of his inactivity and only doing what was needed in the quickest and easiest way that was possible that made him only barely pass. Punk has been a guard in the REA since and is satisfied with that life. He wouldn't hesitate to switch career if he ever felt otherwise.

Character Summary: The playful cheater with a glimpse in his eyes. That's how one could describe Punk Walker and come pretty close to his essence. Punk believes that moral can sometimes only be followed by going against the moral which comes in the other direction. It could be like eating the last sandwich because one knows that the other pony is on a diet or throwing away a ring that made ponies argue. Punk follows his own rules and can hardly take critique seriously if it doesn't come from somepony he truly respects. Other ponies are often treated with a playful and teasing interaction; irony is diligently used in his jokes as well as a tad of mannered chivalry. He really like to mess a little with other ponies and tease them a little to see how they react. Punk is very outgoing and isn't afraid to say hello to other ponies, nor is he afraid to tease them a little if he's in a fitting mood. He's fascinated of how different ponies react towards him. Some ponies don't like him at all and avoid him completely while some ponies laugh with him and have a really good time and everything in between. Punk still has a little tendency to see himself as the top of the world and does things his own way when the leaders tell him what to do, just to make a little massage. Life is a game, play it.

The stallion is very weak for pumpkins. Pumpkin soup, pumpkin pie, pumpkin stew, you name it. Everything with a little scent of pumpkin in it makes him lose his mind and he can't wait to eat all of it. Punk is like a little foal again during every Nightmare night -- pumpkins everywhere! Another thing he likes is his family. They are all terribly important to him and he likes to see them as often as possible to make sure they're alright. Punk is more protective when it comes to his sisters than what's good for him. He can certainly be a bit overbearing and even embarrassing when he makes sure that they get nothing but the best. He and Fire Walker have had quite a few arguments about him intruding her private space, though he does so with good intentions. The Pegasus has a little quirk about his napping habits. Not only does he snore when asleep but he does also sleep with his hoof in his mouth. Not many are aware of it and he would never openly admit it if asked but it's still true. Another quirk is his disability to distinguish red from green, he's colorblind. One time when he and Fire Walker was on a field; he actually lost sight of her when she laid down in the high grass. Not that he told her, and not that he'll possibly ever tell her, but it gave him a little panic when she suddenly vanished.

The stallion does not like it when ponies is mean to anypony in his family. There's not much that can make him mad but that is one of few things that can truly make him see red. Punk thinks teasing is fine and does even encourage it but he disapprove of plain taunting and humiliation. Not that it's a very common view in Equstria but it's still worth mentioning. Having anything on his head makes him feel trapped and uncomfortable but it's not more of a problem than a itch on his back, so we won't go deeper into that. A thing truly worth going deep into though is his big fear of insects. Anything crawling, flying or digging that could go under the category of insects makes him crawl up and/or flail around screaming like a little filly. The fear has always been there and will possibly stay with him for the rest of his days. His siblings did actually try to help him get rid of the fear by showing him how harmless they are... by pouring a bucket of them down on top of him. I'll skip the very interesting and yet sticky details, but let's say, it didn't work.

Cheating. How does that sound to you? You think it's a bad thing, don't you? I can tell that you're probably right in a way but you need to widen your perspective. Punk cheats frequently and is very skilled at doing so. Doing things the 'proper' or 'true' way has a tendency to make it harder, longer and a lot more boring. Where's the suspension in simply doing the obstacle course if you can make it a little more spicy by releasing some bees? Where's the rule written that you can't use your wings while doing pull ups? Why digging a hole alone when you could just convince somepony to help you? That's what I'm talking about. Life is way too short to not cheat at all. When you know the rules and why they exist; you will know when it's the right time to break them. Suspension, kicks, the plain feeling of doing something and having the control to do it no matter who wouldn't want you to.

"Haha! You know what, my little Fire Flower, if you don't try to live a little; you don't live."

And for the record, I fully approve of QH making a brother OC for Fire Walker and Wind Walker. They still has so many more siblings! Cody Walker! Speed Walker! Walk Walker! Sky Walker! And much more! :-o

Hi there! First off, I would like to apologize for how long it took me to sit down and type my review for your app. I'm sure you understand how the holidays can be.

Anyway, overall this doesn't look too bad. We've run into a small conundrum, however, with the nature of the family's treatment of "weak" children. We can't ask you to rewrite that completely because of the fact that sibling's app was accepted with the same element in its history as well. After some discussion, we've decided that it can be left in, but we'd like you to tone it down as much as possible.

If you can do that, I should be able to move this along the application process. :)
