For you all. That strange pegasus is unknown. Nopony know how he/she looks. Only known stuff are that he/she wears dark hat and coat. But nopony sais it's black. Cause he/she appears just at night. And than he/she probably has just one working eye.

(Hm... this is getting really interesting. Great work for now. You already met each other. Well, the intro will be soon finished :D )

Cold nodded to the others and she stood and headed straight for the door. She adjusted her bag again and looked over to her shoulder before taking off.

"Dont worry, I'll be there. Until then" She said before taking off.

((Should we time skip? Or are we gonna roleplay our OC's going to bed? O_O))

Rose smiled. "Nice to meet you, Record. I hope a few maps or charts would be helpful on the journey." She quickly left the house to return to hers beside the lake, hopefully in time to watch the constellations.

At this point Emery just was getting more and more confused as the little conversation went on. They sure seemed quick to come to conclusions! Here the mare just couldn't say it was all real unless she had any real proof. The conversation they just had was not saying a lot. She did not have much time to say anything that the two others accepted and not long after they would be gone. Emery remained there, though. She waited for them to be outside and with what was happening, she thought that it was just all a big joke. She'd need some convincing for it to really happen. From her seat she stared at Record.

Emery: Well... This all seems like to work out for you, but I'm honestly not convinced. Can you at least try to explain to me what you're trying to do?

She'd ask, remaining calm.

Emery: You plan on going out in the Everfree Forest. I hope you know that it's dangerous in there.

Rose hoped that there would be more than three adventurers on the trip... they'd need a combination of different types of ponies, with different skills. If only Emery would be persuaded to join... :)

"Well I put up with enough of this dream thing and I always wanted to go on an adventure ( maybe I can make my big break by finding this stuff then I can be really rich.") Record then looked at the pony "Maybe, just maybe, there's a secret reward out there or our names will go down in history! Don't you like that idea?"

When you're talking sudennly you've got a strange feeling. Dark cold feeling what appeared deeply in your minds.

(That night you all will have the worst nightmare for your character)

That night, all Cold did was shift and turn in her bed. This was horrible! She was in some kind of...of... horrible nightmare! She whimpered silently. She really can't seem to see what the dream is about. She can mostly see flashes and images of a fort and a creature. Then, was she chased? Oh dear! This was horrible! She jolted up and looked around frantically. Her breathing was maxed and she held her head. Man, that was horrible!

"Maybe some milk should do it..." She said to herself as she got up and got a glass of milk.

After so, she went back to bed, hoping nothing bad would happen.

((So, what now? :/))

(Now we have to wait to others. When you all will be ready to go to the forest than this story will finally starts. I hope.

I wonder how you do that. It's pretty hard to RP if everyone is from a different time zone and hasn'tt time at the same moment)

Honestly if Records could explain more about that dream, then Emery would most likely want to listen to him, but now that he was talking about fame, he had lost her. Once he was done talking, the mare got up and looked down at him.

Emery: I don't need to be known. If that is the only reason you're making up a team... then you can count me out.

She said. Emery simply had enough of this. She had no more to say and so she turned her back to Records before starting to walk towards the door for the way out. But something strange was then felt. When she reached for the door, she could feel something inside. This something didn't feel right... it felt very dark and gave her some uneasiness, but she'd shake the feeling away, resuming what she wanted to do. She opened the door and walked out without saying another word. She had no more business there... if Records wanted her in his team, then some sort of miracle would have to occur, unless someone could really convince her.

(Will have to go with that. I gotta go work. I'll make the dream later)

"Oh well, I'm sure me and the others will be fi--." Record stopped, something didn't feel right. He was shaking, he felt cold all over his spine, and had a headache. "Whoa...what was that? I don't feel good, I think I'll just lie down and take a nap. I'll finish packing later." Record then went to sleep. After around 1 in the morning he tossed and turned in bed dreaming a horrible horrible dream, more worst than the one where he was broke and infamous. ( dream world ) " huh, where am I?" He looked around then realizing this was the same building with the statue. "Oh, this place again. Well, might as well make the most of it. I wonder what else is in this place...maybe...GOLD!!" Just then, he heard growling from the corner of the room. "What? Who goes there?!" Then he turned around and there was--!" Record woke up. His heart was beating more than a beat when the bass drops. What ( panting ) what was that? Forget it, I'm not sleeping after that!" He then Decided to finish packing.

Midnight knew her way around the forest, so she didn't pack much. Just in case, though... she brought along a piece of parchment and a quill, then a few glass bottles and a small amulet that she carried around but barely wore. She also took the piece of black cloth, just in case it really was related to the pony she'd encounter earlier in the forest.

I just hope the others are okay...

Next day all ponies were scared. It looks like that everypony in the Ponyville had a nightmare that night.

And than somepony said that he saw that strange pegasus in the village. Hiding in shadows and singing with deep ancient voice.

Now they think that pony is really a ghost and brings them that nightmares.

And than one younger unicorn found the steps in the dirt. Looks like that pegasus went to the forest.

But the worst is that everything looks like that the nightmares had everypony in Equestria. Include princess Celestia and Luna. How weird is it.

Cold flew to the forest. Hoping to find the others there. She had her usual bag with her. Her wavy, bouncy mane fluttering about behind her as she flew closer and closer to the Everfree. There, she saw Midnight. Well, at least somepony else is here. She flew down and landed softly in the ground beside Midnight. She threw a loose strand of mane back and looked at her with her striking bright pink orbs.

"Is Record here yet?" She asked simply.

Midnight shook her head. "I don't think so..." she muttered, somewhat frightened.

There was more proof that it was a pony, or at least the remains of one. She blew a stray hair out of her face and stared at her hooves. "I'm not exactly the adventurous type, but I might as well go. I've got nothing else to do."

(Sorry for the long one. Had to make a good one for Emery's worst nightmare :P)

Emery-Gency went along with her schedule for the rest of the day. As planned, she had some time to spend with her daughter, which they both greatly enjoyed. Afterward she decided to do some cleaning around the house with the help of her husband. With all that she had to do today, it's like she had completely forgotten about what happened at Records' house, where she thought she had lost her time. Yet with all of these activities, time was going by fast. Soon came dinner and bedtime for the young filly arrived quickly. As usual, the two parents took care of telling her beautiful stories as well as singing a lullaby to help the foal fall asleep. The rest of the evening would be taken smoothly with the two adults simply relaxing and enjoying being together. Night would come to them too. Emery needed to rest for a new shift at work the following day.

Yet like last night she would be having a dream... no... a nightmare.

She found herself in the hospital as if being there on any regular shift. She was announced that a patient was waiting for them in the operation room. Like usual. Emery was finishing a few papers she had to fill before she would join the team in the operation room. She would walk there, her hoofsteps echoing through the halls. Other ponies were passing by. Some doctors and nurses, others treated patients who needed to stay at the hospital. Like usual, Emery was going by them, nodding to a few she knew, patient or coworker. The nurse approached the operation room, knowing that somepony was awaiting her aid in there. Crossing the doorway all she could see were a few other of her coworkers in front of the operating table, discussing. Emery was an assistant. She was there to keep an eye on the patient as well as to help the doctor in his operation, keeping him informed of everything. She took her usual place behind the lead doctor. When this one saw her approach, it's then that he would reveal the patient to the nurse. Something was off... Emery did not get any information on what had happened to the patient. No name, no age, no information at all.

Doctor pony: This is Hikari. She has arrived in the E.R today at approximately 2:34 this afternoon. She and her father were part of an accident which happened at the bottom of a cliff. According to the eyes of the witnesses they would have fallen down the cliff... The two of them were found unconscious with the father holding the daughter in his wings.

Emery's eyes were fixing the body of the small filly who was plugged to a respiratory machine. She was unable to look away. This couldn't be true! Yet right in front of her she was seeing her own daughter there, eyes closed and not moving, forced to breath through a machine to be kept alive. Fear was all over the nurses's face.

Doctor pony: The filly is still alive, but in a critical state. Her vitals are already low... many broken bones inside of the body and the spine has been severely damaged. As for the father...

The doctor kept himself silent for a few seconds as he closed his eyes briefly. He'd open them again to look at Emery with a sorry look. This one was looking back at him, worried and fearing the worst.

Doctor pony: ... Unfortunately he didn't make it.

At these words, the mare was trembling, her breathing shaking with it. She was just told that her husband had passed away from an accident... Yet her head was not able to process everything correctly. She did not fall down, she was not even able to believe this and furthermore... her daughter was on the operating table. Her head would slowly shift back to the young patient of four years old while the doctor would continue with the briefing.

Doctor pony: Natural healing will not be possible. Many bone fragments have scattered inside. We will have no choice but to perform an incision and replace everything in order for it to heal completely.

The doctor spoke and revealed a few lines on the body of the filly. These lines showed where the insicions should be made. Emery became more and more worried the more she was staring at this frail little body. She was still trembling, yet no one around her seemed to notice that about her. But she was there to work and help save lives. The doctor looked at her as if he was waiting for an answer from her.

Doctor pony: Are you ready to begin the operation... doctor?

The nurse gasped at that word.

Emery: D-d-d...doctor?

She'd say in a low and worried tone. The pony next to her simply nodded. Something was definitely off, but Emery had trouble determining if this was fake or real. It all looked too real. Well... anyway, she had to do something. She had to work and save her own daughter's life. The nurse kept looking at the small body in front of her and began to breath deeply. She had to do this... she had to calm down. This was the reason why she was a nurse with a team of specialists. Her control of stress had always helped her through many operations. This one shouldn't be an exception! She put hoof-gloves one and a mask and would ready herself for it. Once all ready she'd look once more at her unconscious daughter on the table.

Emery: ... Scalpel.

She'd call. The doctor who was next to her brought the tool so she could begin her work. As she received it she approached it towards the body. She tried to think of nothing but the operation. Yet it kept striking her that this was her daughter there and she didn't even think that it was safe to perform surgery on such a young individual. Apparently she had to go through.

The operation had now begun. Emery managed to correctly make the incision where it was marked. She could work inside with the help of the assistant telling her what to do as well as keeping an eye on the poor foal's vitals. They were already low... but for now would be stable. Except for the doctor assistant talking and Emery calling for what she needed, this was all made in silence. The cardiograph was the only thing making any noise to measure the heartbeats of the patient. Other than that the nurse was putting all of her focus on the operation. She was always horrified when she had to do something inside of the small body, but managed to do some good work anyway... until...

The heart monitor would make a noise no doctor ever wants to hear. The line showing on the screen remained flat and made a never ceasing noise. The assistant came around telling the others to move with the defibrillator. Emery stepped back with intense stress as she heard the heart monitor. All she could do for now was to watch. The others were panicking as well, wanting to keep the patient alive, trying to find out what was wrong. The one with the defibrillator would call it everytime he would turn them on to try and find a heartbeat again, but so far everytime he was doing it... nothing was happening.

Assistant pony: CLEAR!!

He'd call once more, giving it another shot. Emery was only watching the small body of her daughter pulsing to the shock that was sent into her body... watching this was becoming way too hard. She had to do something! She'd try to leap in, but to no avail, one of the coworkers would prevent her from doing so by retaining her, forcing her to watch only. It was only natural for him to do so since work was being done, but Emery couldn't stant seeing more of this. She screamed her daughter's name and struggled to try and free herself from the grasp of her coworker. Strangely enough, as she was doing this the room she was in was starting to shift. The walls kept appearing and disappearing, revealing a much darker background behind until it would be completely gone... the coworkers would be gone as well, the one retaining her as well, giving her the opportunity to step forward. As she did, she stopped to walk. She looked around, still having wet eyes and a fast breathing rate as well. The place seemed familiar... it was like in her last dream. It was those ruins again. As she looked around, her eyes would eventually fall on something that was out of place. A table was in the middle of the place with a light above it. There was somepony on it as well... Emery's eyes would widen as she immediately recognised her daughter and hurried over to her.

Emery: Hikari!!

She called out as she came over. She'd stop at the table and would look down. She brought a hoof up to her daughter's cheek that she would remove right away after she felt something wrong. Her cheek was cold... and the more she was looking at her daughter, she would realise that it was probably too late. Hikari was lifeless. Coming to this realisation, that's when that Emery would crumble on herself, bursting into tears on the operating table. She tried to tell herself that this wasn't possible, that there had to be an explanation. Yet all she could do was to say her deceased daughter's name over and over, going louder everytime and...

Emery: NO!!!

She woke up in the middle of the night loudly. She was sitting where she was, breathing heavily as she was coming back to her senses. She looked next to her to verify something after she realized where she was and she could sigh in relief she she saw her husband was there. Yet this one had awakened too after the sudden cry of his wife.

Jolly: Is everything okay, honey?

Emery, although still shocked, nodded to him firmly.

Emery: Another nightmare... a terrible one that I don't even want to think about...

The husband sat up with her in the bed, but Emery jumped off before they could even talk.

Jolly: What are you doing?

He'd ask as he watched her go. Emery would look back at him quickly.

Emery: I... just want to see something quickly.

She'd say and would leave the room. She then walked all the way to another room a few steps away from hers in which she'd peek in to see if everything was all right. It was her daughter's room. From where she was she could see the little filly sleeping tight. Now that she knew the two most loved ones of her life were safe, she could go on with the rest of the night.

The next day came and Emery had off once more. This was a good thing... With that nightmare she had, there was something she wanted to verify. She had packed a few things in a pack such as first-aid material and some food. She would reach for the door when her husband would come from behind.

Jolly: Where are you going?

Emery: I'll be back later... I need to go and check onto something. It's about those dreams... yesterday you remember I told you about that pony who was seeking help?

Jolly: Yes?

Emery: Well... I need to get a few answers from him. Something about those nightmares is off and he talked about dreams too.

Jolly kept himself silent for a moment as he tried to figure out what else he could say. When he looked at Emery again, she was looking worried of something.

Emery: Besides... The fact that you and Hikari both had a terrifying nightmare too makes this all more suspicious. It's unusual and... I want to check things out.

The husband frowned a little at this. He was suspecting his wife of doing something rather risky. What, though? He had no idea, but he knew she wanted to go deeper into this. For some reason she had more suspicions than anyone else about these strange dreams.

Jolly: One condition. Be careful and come back safe.

He'd tell her. At that Emery nodded to him with a soft smile. That's a promise she could keep and she would respect it. She quickly came back to him and gave him a gentle kiss on the lips before she'd finaly head outside.

Once out she knew where to go. She remembered Records saying he'd be at the Everfree Forest's edges by noon. That's where she would head right away. Anyway according to those two others, they surely wouldn't be alone. It wouldn't take long for the mare to reach the place of destination. Yet she couldn't see anyone just yet. She looked around a little, suspecting them to be somewhere else close. And she was right. After looking in the right direction she saw a group of three ponies who she could recognise. Emery galloped her way to them, eyeing Records among them all.

Emery: Hey! Records, right? We need to talk.

(Wow. That nightmare was very well written. I really feel with Emery. So sad... )

Well, looks like that everypony is ready and we can start with the adventure. :D

Next day was cloudy and cold. Everything was in the mood of the last night. Everything was quiet and nopony laughed.

Around the Everfree forest was heavy mist and it looked much more creepy than usually.

That pony who was talking about the hoofsteps in the dirt was right. They were here. And everything looks like that mysterious pegasus went the way to... the Zecoras hut?

In the dirt few steps away was visible something silver. It is a silver button? With a strange old engraving on it. Maybe a moon and some strange pony? It's too dirty too be sure with that.

(Maybe someone will notice a dark silhouette of some big bird sitting on high dead tree. )

(Elssir? I think that we're going a bit too fast with that XD Here they have just joined at the edges of the forest, but Emery is here to ask questions first. She doesn't have enough information yet to really join the team, hence why she decided to meet with them, but first only to ask questions, after which she would decide if she joins or not (She will join or else the story wouldn't go anywhere...) )

(Ahhhh. Okay. You won. I just wanted to start finally. :)

But be sure that the Shadow is already awaken. ;) )

(For you all. Take my last post as something what will happen if you will create the team. :D)
