Physique: Brenna is a fairly large dragon for a teenager, she’s nowhere near the size of her mother who is an adult with a sizeable hoard but she is very tall when upright: considering her serpentine body... that is fairly statuesque. Residence: wherever she happens to be for the time being Occupation: Magical blacksmith History: Jinshu Ji was born to the great dragon Sòng gāng, the Smith. Sòng gāng was a magnificent blacksmith who had managed to make some of the most incredible weapons in the history of whitescar, using a unique magical method that her long lived ancestors had mastered. Runa’s mother was in fact the smith who had made the current High-king’s magical spear that never misses it’s mark. Little is known about her mother's history beyond that and the fact that she has a mysterious temple like structure atop the peak set up solely for the creation of magical weapons to be used by Whitescar's most promising warriors who she believes will be historic figures. There are some rumors she is a dragon of great importance back in the east but no caribou knows whether or not this is true... some dragons may but it is unlikely you'll find one in the west who knows her story. Her life when she was just a hatchling was full of her staring at her mother working at her forge and making some of the caribou’s best weaponry. Together with Sòng , Ji lived atop the tallest mountain on the world serpent’s spine. Listening gleefully as tales were spun to her about the many battles and combat prowess of the Caribou who lived down below. While her mother did make such tools for th einhabitants of whitescar, she has never been the type to accept requests and only opens her doors to caribou willing to accept her challenges in order to earn a weapon so blessed... as a result business atop the mountain was slow and many suspect that it has been more of a side business as the dragon blacksmith and her daughter would dissapear for months on end to go to their homeland, wherever that may be. For ages, Ji’s line had been supplying the best of weapons to great warriors who lived in Whitescar’s turbulent regions. The greatest of fighter’s below would have to prove their mettle to the great dragon by scaling the mountain on their own with no weapons or armor… and on a mountain that was surrounded by powerful freezing winds, with trolls and lindwurms that wander the base; that was no easy task. One of the caribou that made it to the top was None other than the aforementioned High-King Dragonsong. Ji's life as a younger dragon was mostly full of lessons on smithing, with the occasional trip into town under the watchful eyes of her mother. Because of the fact that Rampaging dragons in the land of Whitescar was a recurring problem for the herds, Ji was not often well received especially after the tales of how the king got his title spread over the lands; as a result, Ji is not especially fond of Caribou save for those who make it up her and her mother’s mountain. Character Summary: Ji is one of the best blacksmiths in Whitescar, with her mother being the greatest in regards to the impressive magical properties and power her weapons can imbue. Ji ,however is still young and learning and trying to improve her craft everyday; to assist in this goal she has taken to traveling across the world to learn from other blacksmiths and artisans across the continents who may be able to better her work. Besides her smithing, Ji is also a talented swords...dragon. She didn’t forge all her practice blades and weapons not to use them after all. One of Ji's most useful abilities is her magical flames which she inherited from her mother, With her magic fire she is able to make small portals home back at the top of her mother's mountain in whitescar and also anywhere in the immediate vicinity for the sake of a laugh. Around others, Ji is a kind and intelligent if slightly awkward and proud dragon. To those who come to know her, they will realize she is a loyal friend and is eager to help out in almost any situation. Like all dragons she is susceptible to being rather greedy, her mother has helped temper this trait and has instilled the values that the only hoard dragons such as themselves should consider a hoard is one that a dragon earns through honest work, therefore, Ji has a sizeable hoard of her own as she has often tried to sell her own work with varying degrees of success. Combined with her own natural growth, this makes Ji a rather sizable dragon for a teenager, despite this she is not large enough to be considered a huge threat as most dragons would be to equine or caribou. Ji has relatively few fears besides the idea that she won’t be a suitable successor for her mother. What she does have are a few anxieties, the most notable of which being her aversion to caribou.
