[OPEN!] Inspire Me: Sketches for Kisses

There is a pony who enjoys travelling and seeing new faces as much as new places. He is often found on trains or at train stations and is seen with a sketchbook and pencil. If asked his name, he will tell you it's 'Nopony Special', though whether it's a joke or his real name is anyone's guess.

 

This ever-grinning, laid-back pony spends much of his time drawing what he sees, particularly ponies who catch his eye and inspire him. He seems to enjoy interacting with others in ways that make them act outside of their norm, whether angering them or earning a smile or causing them to blush. These are his favorite drawing subjects - the glimpses of expression caused by emotion that he knows he elicited.

 

It's still a mystery why Nopony Special seems to enjoy provoking such natural responses, but perhaps it has something to do with the strange fact that he hardly ever shows any emotion of his own. Other than what seems to be a permanent smile on his face, there are few expressions he himself seems to show as if he doesn't know how or lacks the feeling to express.

 

One of the emotions he's most curious about is love, though of course it's not as though one finds that everyday. So, in order to feed his curiosity, Nopony decided to make a sign. Whenever he felt like it, he would sit on a train or a bench at a train station with this sign beside him. It read 'Inspire Me: Sketches for Kisses'. After all, weren't kisses supposedly an expression of love?

Rules & Information

 

1. Please keep in mind this is NOT an art request thread - this is mostly for fun and should revolve around the roleplaying, not the art. You have to roleplay as a character of yours to earn a sketch of them. The more you roleplay, the more likely your character is to inspire a sketch. Also, said character has to kiss Nopony to earn a sketch.

 

2. The sketch will be determined by what, how, and why Nopony is inspired by your character (assuming he is), so neither you nor your character can specify what he should or shouldn't draw. Drawings will be whatever Nopony wants them to be of the character who kissed him in the roleplay. It might be their face when they kissed, their look after or before, a headshot, a bust, a full body sketch, etc.

 

3. Drawings will be traditional sketches done with pencil - no color and no CG. Nopony Special only has his sketch pad and pencil with him, after all.

 

4. Any characters, even those aside from ponies, are fine as long as they have an approved application in either CC or WoE. Canon characters may also participate.

 

5. All characters who are considered juveniles, teenagers, or older are required to kiss Nopony on the lips in order to 'inspire' him enough to earn a sketch. This is regardless of their species or gender. Other than kissing on the lips (which is a must), there are no limitations on the type of kiss. They can talk with him, flirt, french kiss, etc, but please keep in mind - the more Nopony is inspired, the more he will draw.

 

6. Foals and other younger characters can participate, but they are not allowed to kiss on the lips. For those younger than what would be considered a juvenile or teenager, a kiss on the nose or head or cheek is fine.

 

7. One sketch per player (NOT character) per day. Nopony moves from train to train and station to station, so your character will have to find him another day if they want another sketch. And yes, he can tire of seeing the same person over and over again, so it might not be best to repeatedly have the same character seek him out.

 

8. Nopony Special does not sketch every single day, nor does he do so at any particular time. Only when he feels like it will he put up his sign. You will know when this happens because this topic's title will have 'OPEN' included in it.

 

9. After a day of sketching, Nopony will place all the sketches he did that day on the seat or bench where he sat for their owners to pick up (which, OOCly, means they'll show up in the drop-off post below this one). He will put them up all at the same time, so please be patient and don't expect the sketches immediately after he draws them.

Nopony Special grabbed a bottle of juice from a vending machine before stepping onto the train and showing the conductor his ticket. Settling himself into a nice, vacant seat, he brought out his pencil, sketch pad, and a sign he'd brought with him. Chuckling lightly, he re-read the words he'd written before placing it beside his seat for others to see. That done, he glanced out the window, watching other passengers board as he waited for the train to be on its way.

Kalime was quite happy to pay for her ticket, hopping aboard the train and quickly took a window seat, massive paws resting on the bit of railing below the window ceil, tail wagging excitedly.  She adored the train but so seldom had a reason to leave, however today she was traveling out to one of the western Diamond Dog camps to speak to their Alpha about pack matters, so she meant she got to ride the TRAIN! She was so excited about the idea that she was getting to go, she hadn't noticed the pony sitting nearby, but finally her brain caught up to her eyes and she turned her head.

"Hello Pony!" She waved at the stranger "You riding train today too?"
