Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Very thick and full, enchanted with a spell to be fireproof so it won't burn during her shows, tail is neatly cut at medium length. Colored like flames, orange red fading gently into bright yellow at the tips. Eye Color: Bright lemon yellow, very slightly greenish. Cutie Mark: A bright flame with sparks of magic in and around it. Physique: Slightly on the tall side and well toned from her performances. Residence: Currently she lives in a home in Canterlot where she performs once every day for the locals. Occupation: A pyromancer/street performer who's skilled in manipulating fire in very flashy and attractive ways, her favorite is breathing a jet of fire that looks like a dragon. Likes: Fire of course, fast paced excitement, her dramatic performances, though even she has a calmer side to her. Magi keeps a lot of incense in her home, most of which are cinnamon or wood smoke scented, a smell that lingers in her fur for quite a while. She loves spicy foods and puns, nopony really knows why but puns make her laugh more than anything in the world. She also loves being somewhat of a prankster and how easily confused her pony friends are by her sarcasm. She loves meeting dragons of course since most of them share her love for fire. Dislikes: Everything and anything about cold, wet weather. Swimming and getting wet in general (as a foal it took efforts from both her mother, father, and older brother to force her to take a bath.) She can handle showers and bubble baths nowadays, but nothing more. Knowing that her fire has the power to destroy nearly anything (though she'd never use it in any way other than for show or defense) she hasn't developed much of a fear for anything at all. Character Summary:Sarcastic, loud, slightly childish, all are good words to sum up Magi Blaze. This easily excitable mare was born and raised in Canterlot, where from early foalhood she showed interest in fire and how the element works. It was easily manipulated by her unicorn magic as soon as she got a solid grasp on it, though with her rather simple mind Magi showed no interest in anything else, not even schooling. Her parents tried everything, but thanks to her ADD behavior, Magi never received much in the means of education that actually stuck with her. Though very early on, she discovered how to make fire change color and light up, even how to mold the element into new shapes entirely. After this, Magi decided to show her parents her new found talent by putting on a show for them. Leaving them stunned by the beauty and power their daughter had been working with for so long without their knowledge, Magi earned her cutie mark and decided that her path in life was with her fiery magic and the entertainment business.As an adult, Magi is silly and carefree, knowing that her street shows will accumulate enough bits to keep her going no matter what, or so she thinks. She's also rather on the overconfident side after years of praise with her shows, though this isn't too noticeable unless somepony mentions her fire abilities. She's very sarcastic and laid back, loud with her speaking and sometimes even seen as rude. She can't really help it, from what little exposure she's had to others and the fact that nopony really visits her other than during her shows, she's not entirely sure how to behave around others and just goes by what she feels is natural.Not much seems to interest her, and you'll know right away if she's becoming bored with a conversation as she'll start to fiddle with her magic and stop making eye contact with whoever is speaking to her.She is a good soul though, she's dead loyal almost to the point of stupidity towards those who don't leave her and keep her as a friend. If nopony minds her lack of manners and loud, blunt nature, Magi can be fun and exciting to be around, especially in places like theme parks or carnivals.Her quirky behavior is very dragon-like in many ways as well, since she's fanatical to the creatures and has imitated them for so many years that it's almost like second nature for her to growl or hiss or shoot smoke from her nostrils, sometimes she might even use her magic to change her voice and give herself the ability to roar like the beasts.All in all, Magi is fun and harmless, too simple minded to ever scheme against somepony, and basically just wants to have a good time with her life and not let the little things drag her down.------>temporary reference sheet is here<--------- Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Skye Posted August 13, 2011 Report Share Posted August 13, 2011 After having reviewed the other character in question, the only similarities I can see are a similar enjoyment of fire, and a similar location, and a few similar likes, otherwise they appear to be different ponies.
