Silly question from the bidding I have seen. There is a treasure trove on MLP FIM gear out there and I actually have a set of McDonlads 4 ponies to sell.

On Equestria Daily there has been multiple posts about pony plushies ranging from Derpy to Fluttershy (Here) but sadly it has ended and at a ridiculous price more than what I would personally like to pay for a plush toy no matter how adorable it may be (fluttershy fav pony). I hope they start selling better quality MLP plush toys in the toy stores soon, all I've seen recently has been ones like these on the internet:

Although cute they don't seem very good quality. There is an untapped gold mine in merchandise Hasbro can make with MLP due to its sudden boom in popularity but it seems their not making items worth the demographic that MLP has currently. I do hope they will start selling plush toys like the one I linked early on ebay because I would buy all the mane 6 ... well scratch that I would buy all the ones I could get my hands on (I'm not very responsible with money )

While I don't take offense to this, Ouch... Well that hurt to read.

I'll try to explain the best I can about the plushies. As I feel the need to explain the process...

EvilSugar and I put our strongest and truest effort into these/those. We spend over 12 hours making each and every one of our pony plushies. We buy only the best fabrics as requested by a popular vote from the pony buyers themselves! We use top of the line "Smooth Minky". The eyes are also made of fabric and the iris' are drawn/painted on. Also we use a VERY STRONG thread to make sure there will be no chance of it falling apart, and stuff it to the brim to maximize the cuddliness of it. OH, and they are POSEABLE.. When making them we go over every little tiny detail to make sure the plushy is perfect in every possible way. If it isn't perfect, or we screw up on ANY part of the plushy at all, we have to start from SCRATCH all over again. That means we could go through 3-4 tries of making just 1 plush toy to make sure it does NOT have a flaw that the buyer would find distracting. -- In fact we even cater to the buyers wants and needs. If a buyer has requested us to make a closed smile instead of an open mouth we do it.

If they request the eyes to be done in a certain way, or a certain cutie mark instead of what is there, we do that too. We go over the plushy in the end with a find toothed comb to make sure that there are no ugly marks, fabric rips, loose stitches or etc. -- So I assure you they are very high quality and very well loved by our purchasers. ^^

The price of the plushies are as follows. $70 for a "normal" plushy. $40 for fabric colors... (Fabric is $20 per color per yard and can ONLY be bought in yards when we order it.) $10 is for shipping. That right there is a total of $50 already... then Mimi/Evil Sugar gets $10 for MAKING the plushy and I get $10 for taking the orders and sorting them.

Total = $70. Profit made? Mimi = $10 and Myself = $10. For the Minis? Her and I only make $5 each. For 12 Hours + worth of work. Do you work for $5-$10 a day only? I think the prices we charge are rather fair. Especially with the possibility of screw ups and fabric we could go through while trying to make the best plushy for a buyer.

However, I do respect your opinion on this. I just felt the need to inform you on all of the effort that goes into our plushies and why they are priced at the price they are. ^__^ After all as much as we want to we can't please everyone! -

-- AND back on subject~! E-Bay is FANTASTIC for pony items!! ^__^ I'm in love with E-Bay for all of the great variety they have on there! The book bags, the totes, the figures, the customs, the stickers, journals, calendars! YEEEE! I wish I had more money, I would totally buy half of what I've seen on there! ^.^ I just wish there were more Rainbow Dash and Applejack Items. Maybe some of Luna too since she is also a fav... XD

Personally, I think those plushes look pretty good.

Granted, I'm not really in a position to pay $70 for a plush toy, no matter how much work goes into it. I'd still sooner buy something like that then the official ones with how Hasbro still doesn't seem to be concerned with making their plushes very accurate to the show.

Hehe, it's alright. I understand not everyone wants to or can pay that price. I just want people to know we're not over-charging or anything on these. I'd be different if we were a factory and had lotsa supplies on hand already! XD *laughs*

See, I'd be all over one of those plushes if I had the money. A Luna or Applejack plush? Just take my money right now! Unfortunately I don't have the money to spend on something like that so I just end up being extremely jealous of everyone else.
