RarityDash Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 To elaborate, they're indeed just what happens when someone presses that "like this" button on something you post. The idea is usually to cut back on the need for mundane feedback comments (basically stuff that doesn't say much beyond "I liked this post" or "thanks for this"). On a board like this they also allow some form of feedback where it would normally be more difficult to give (such as in the middle of an RP). So yeah, it's just an alternative way to show appreciation for what other people post. 2
