Occupation: A pony of many hats. Pokey has been a firepony, an astronaut, a fanboy, a dog catcher, a robot builder. Mostly though he's a sidekick.

Motivation: To get back home!

Likes: Ice cream, cotton candy, junkfood

Dislikes: being taken advantage of, but sometimes, when the mood strikes him, Pokey can be a bit of a neighsayer about ANYTHING and everything.

Character Summary: Pokey was born in the land of Gumbasia, a magical place within a toy store. In a land where almost everyone can walk into any given book and interact with its characters, as well as shapeshift into nearly any conceivable form, this horse is remarkably, stubbornly down to earth (Except in the rare occasions where he has to fill his role of astronaut, and then literally is not).

He mostly goes on adventures with his best friend, a green shape-changing humanoid, to whom he plays the lancer and sometimes the voice of reason. This orangey-red horse can be quite sarcastic, but has a good heart. he is not easily phased by what he sees in Equestria, because things are MUCH odder where he is from.

One day he happened upon a book called "Friendship is Magic", and based on the pretty ponies on its cover decided to visit. Unbeknownst to him, his enemies the blockheads trapped him within the confines of this book, so he hasn't been able to find his way home.
