I'm a gamer, primarily focused on the Half-Life/Portal series, Diablo II, and Mount & Blade: Warband. I love to find out how things work, and have a degree in computer programming. Also: If it's medieval, I'm all over it.How did you hear about Canterlot.com?: Googled MLP RP sitesHow did you became a fan of FiM?: Friend introduced me to itMy one favourite main cast pony?: FluttershyNot sure how all of these "about myself" questions get incorporated into my first post (if at all), but LET'S FIND OUT, SHALL WE?*ahem* So, hello everyone. I'm not completely new to RPing, but I'm looking for a bit of guidance. I'm used to doing casual RPs over instant messenger; the few forum RPs I was in before, when I was still big in the sonic fandom, were wrecked by powertrip characters trying to one-up each other or twist the plot in drastically different directions. Needless to say, that kind of turned me off of forum RPs for a while. A friend introduced me to MLP:FIM, but finding this site was just a matter of me looking up RP boards on Google. This one looked like the best, so I decided to give it a shot. Also, Skye runs a RP Masterclass now and then for those who migzht need a little assistance with RP Concepts, so whenever you feel like you need a hand, don't be afraid to ask him about it!Mods, admins and General helpstaff are also on hand to help with any other questions and things that you may wanna ask/find out more about that may or may not already be covered by that aforementioned help area - so there's literally nothing to lose by looking around or asking anypony for help here!Now that I've covered that, I'm gonna go right ahead and award you a complimentary Glowstick! ^^;Welcome to the boards, I hope you have yasself a blast up in here!
