Occupation: Joint ruler of Equestria along with her sister Princess Celestia.

Motivation: To change her image as Nightmare Moon into something good.

Likes: Studying, looking at the stars, flying through the night.

Dislikes: Large crowds, being misunderstood, her past.

Character Summary: Princess Luna was always shunned for her affinity with the night. Everypony loved to play in the daytime, but at night, they all went to sleep and ignored the beautiful stars and the moon which Luna controlled.

Luna became jealous of her sister Celestia, and how everypony loved her. So, one night, she decided not to lower the moon and tried to cast eternal night upon the land of Equestria. However, Celestia used the Elements of Harmony to stop her, and banished her to the moon for a thousand years.

Luna had changed into Nightmare Moon, and when her banishment was up, she was still in that form. She tried to take over Equestria again and plunge it into night forever, but Twilight Sparkle and her six friends, against all odds, harnessed the Elements of Harmony and changed Luna back.

However, somepony's still call Princess Luna Nightmare Moon, which she doesn't like. She hopes to change the view the ponies of Equestria have of her by interacting with them and making friends.

I might be wrong on this, but I am *pretty* sure that you can only RP mane cast characters, especially those that are currently being RPed by members of the forum, in the Free RP area (which does not require an application) , since Mane cast can go into crossover.

Crossovers is under Free Roleplay, but the only difference between the two is that Crossovers has organization and people generally create Apps before RPing there. Other than that, playing Cast characters and/or having relationships with them is a-okay!
