accountdeleted
In the words of AJ:Whoa Nelly.Anywho! I am writing a (terrible) fanfic about everyponies favorite mailmare, Ditzy! But I have a problem! Why else would I make this topic!?! To shamelessly self promote?!?Exclamation marks!! ! ! !Anywho; slightly more on topic, Ditzy arrives late to the post office and there is a female griffon "sorting" the mail. Her name is Francesca, a girly name (the most floral, girly name I could think of). This is a rubbish name, and the griffon knows it. What is a name that the griffon would prefer? The griffon in question is an aggressive, sarcastic and belittling tomboy. Kinda like an angry RD (Don't kill me Dashie fans!).Ideally, the name is silly, like Oncoming storm, Falling darkness or something. But those are crap. Don't use them. Also, a name with a nickname would be kinda nice.TL;DR version: A name for a cool, female griffon... who is a Twit. Thanks in advance!
Rosewind
How about Gilda? I'd try the tried-and-true of sticking together a noun with a verb of some kind. Or you could name her Hilda.
SirShadowdeath
Heather.Twist on feather, while mantaining an actual name.
DosEquus
I like to think of Griffons as having names of Germanic origins. Depends on if you decide to go by where Gilda could come from and build off of that origin.
