I would wear it in public, but when I first got it, my dad discouraged me saying that I might give out the wrong message that I'm either homosexual, or open to have sex with much older men, and that I could either get raped, or get a beer bottle thrown at me by a redneck. Note that at the time he had no knowledge of the brony fandom at the time, and was confused why I was wearing a Fluttershy T-shirt in the first place. Either way, It's probably not a good idea to wear a Fluttershy T-shirt in public anyway with or without the brony fandom as I live in the southeast, where bronies are unfortunately unheard of. However, I am allowed to wear another T-shirt in public that has the Mane six on it with text captioning "JOIN THE HERD" on it. My parents have no problem with letting me wear that in public. Also, wear that shirt when you are ready to defend it if someone asks, and are ready to brush off criticizm when it comes. I think it looks great. In my experience, guys (beyond high school age) often try to completely ignore it when you break gender barriers. It's just a glance, a questioning look, then they pretend like nothing is there. But I live in a liberal area and in the passive-agressive midwest US, where they'll sooner talk behind your back than say something up front, so my experience might be unusual.Somepony else mentioned bottles being thrown at guys who are too feminine. If this sounds like it might happen where you live, wear the shirt only if you're willing to suffer and risk your safety to make a point. Just keep in mind that even in San Francisco, probably the most tolerant city in the US in regards to gender transgressions, people are still targeted for breaking the "rules."As for whether you could "pull it off" and look straight with a shirt like this, yes. But everyone around me already assume I am some kind of eccentric, which means I can behave in eccentric ways without any problems. And if anyone have a problem with it and tries to mock me or something, I tend to ramble excitedly about how awesome the show is. Oddly enough it's usually enough to scare people away.So I guess you could, it just depends on your attitude and if you care about what people think about you (there's no harm in that!). I got a bag from welovefine and their printing wasn't very solid. I mean yeah, you can turn it inside out, wash it cold, whatever, but that doesn't change the fact that the print quality is "meh," especially at their prices.What I will recommend is CustomInk, I've had a pony top made by them and it's much higher quality (not to mention cheaper) and you can design it yourself using vectors from here -- plus the turnaround is much faster. And the place you live in apparently, too.to reply to both of you i live in ottawa, i mean most of the time im driving and i dont go out much because im either at work trying to rack the number of hours and experience i need in my automotive service technician program, at home relaxing or trying to search for different career paths in my life.but yeah thank you very much for your replies i needed this, i think i will keep the shirt and wear it, i mean its not like it screams out pink, i mean sometimes i see guys wearing pink shirts, i don't judge them because i don't care.
