Draggle
Name:HaggleGender:MaleAge:Early Middle-Aged Stallion (Late 30s)Species:Earth PonyPelt Color:Brown RedMane/Tail Color & Style:Moderate Orange Red, a.k.a. Something That Looks Close to Brown, slightly thick but well-kept despite beard and mustacheEye Color:Grayish Brown, behind glassesCutie Mark:[ignore the quadrilateral in the background]Physique:Slightly overweight and of average heightResidence:He lives in Saddleveil Plains as of now, after a life of frequently moving.Occupation:He is a salesstallion, though this occupation is not his passion. His occupation is what gives him the money to do what matters most to him. See motivation below. Motivation:Haggle's motivation is protecting and caring for his family. He views life from a grounded realistic perspective, though he is also very empathetic. He can be overprotective of his wife and foals, but he means well and he is always kind to them and honest with them. Likes:His wife, his children, taking care of everything himself, reading, educating his foals on useless information that he finds interesting (often to their great annoyances), spoiling his wife, sweet foods, and not really having life outside of his family other than what he does to support themDislikes:Stallions who view themselves as superior to mares, anypony he deems stupid, having responsibilities done for him, anything that puts his wife in distress, and socializing with the outside world more than he has toCharacter Summary:Haggle was given a fairly average foalhood. He had a mother and a stepfather who considered him as his own, and he was the eldest of a group of half-siblings. He was the typical eldest child in that he acted as another parent. While he worked hard and was stronger than most colts, he was also very bookish and intellectual. In fact, he was (and, to an extent, still is) something of an intellectual snob. He dismissed many as too stupid for his company, and as time went on, he became more and more reserved and standoffish. Without trying to, Draggle changed his mind about intelligence and reopened his heart to helping others. She did not fit into any of the beliefs he had established about what makes for a smart pony, and so for that (and their similar names) he was intrigued by her - and he soon fell head over hooves in love. By the time the couple met, she was exhausting herself with standing on her own four legs. He decided she could use his help, permanently. She is his muse and he showers her with affection every day. While she is older, there is a definite paternal aspect to his adoration in that he is such a provider and there is no denying she can be silly. Haggle is in ways the opposite of his love. While both care greatly about foals and family, he is an introvert who silently dislikes all the chaos his extroverted wife runs into. He loves desserts, and she hates desserts. He takes pride in keeping clean, and she is something of a mess. He can be uppity toward those outside his home, but she never forgot her roots. On the other hand, he is often much more practical than she. To strangers, it often seems that he is a know-it-all and she is a ditz, but that is not entirely correct. Skye
Hmm. How about Haggle? Perhaps he grew interested in Draggle, the mare who had a similar name, and intrigued by her, they became fast friends at first, then later a couple and finally, Stallion and Mare? His cutie mark could be a pair of scales, with a talent at finding just the right price for nearly everything, which would help his growing family continue to feed and care for itself? MyLittlePonyTales
Just a reminder, if you feel that your character is finished, don't forget to remove the WIP tag in the title. If it's on there, your app won't be considered for approval.
Draggle
You know me, I'm nervous about saying anything is finished. Still debating a bit.
MyLittlePonyTales
You know me, I'm nervous about saying anything is finished. Still debating a bit.Well, if there's anything that's a problem with it, someone will let you know if/why they can't approve it (once it's not WIP).
