  1. Keep me alive in your hearts and minds, and I will never fully leave you!
  2. Helping out my daughter. : )
  3. Her name is Darlene, and she is a teenage Clydesdale Unicorn. Her parents are Haggle and Pony Draggle, drawn by buxy of this forum in Spring 2011. Her cutie mark is a magic spell book. Her mane and tail were not depicted entirely accurately on the generator. Her mane and tail flow more freely, more messily. Her glasses are smaller. She has her mother's build and eyes, her father's coat and hooves, and hair of a mixture. Also, the actual person she is based on has grown her hair out since the generator version of her pony was created. Any takers?
  4. Thank you again. Looking at this all when I'm not practically asleep, Observations: 1. This batch is all male! 2. You have now drawn a broken-horned unicorn and an injured-winged pegasus.
  5. I went and showed Haggle off to everyone I was talking to as soon as I got your message. He's SO CUTE and definitely worth the wait!
  6. "My name is Draggle," said Draggle, setting her plate down. "And I thank you. If you think my appetite is big, you should see my sister's!" "I should see my sister," the light-and-fluffy descendent of darkness thought to herself. It had been decades since. The way Draggle talked about her sister, one would think she saw her daily. Her sister certainly would not be at the Grand Galloping Gala, that much was obvious. Blinking rapidly to the present goings-on, Draggle asked the friendly pink unicorn athoof how her night was going.
  7. A beer drinker in a champagne atmosphere, Draggle was waiting for a moment of slipping up. It wasn't for lack of practice, either, what with her mate being a Manehattan native. It was simply the nature of the mare to be like a bull in a china store, though she had met some bulls in china stores who were more demur than herself. She had a habit of eating among large groups of ponies in the hopes that somepony would say something that interested her. Carrying her filled buffet plate in her mouth, she wandered over to a group of ponies with this intention in mind. Some stares were given at a grown, albeit broken-horned unicorn who was not using basic levitation. Draggle flashed a teethy smile at the upper crust ponies, garnering a bit of spittle on her plate. Said upper crust ponies had no response for that. Giggling, Draggle turned her attention to the group she had wandered into.
  8. You sound like me there, except that I don't need to whine to make that happen.
  9. I know. I changed my mind about waiting and it's "ready" now.
  10. You know me, I'm nervous about saying anything is finished. Still debating a bit.
  11. That - is very ingenious. I love it. =)
  12. Weeeeell, I don't think I'm going to name him after the guy who was #1 from Spongebob. Just sayin'. ^_^
  13. Name: Haggle Gender: Male Age: Early Middle-Aged Stallion (Late 30s) Species: Earth Pony Pelt Color: Brown Red Mane/Tail Color & Style: Moderate Orange Red, a.k.a. Something That Looks Close to Brown, slightly thick but well-kept despite beard and mustache Eye Color: Grayish Brown, behind glasses Cutie Mark: [ignore the quadrilateral in the background] Physique: Slightly overweight and of average height Residence: He lives in Saddleveil Plains as of now, after a life of frequently moving. Occupation: He is a salesstallion, though this occupation is not his passion. His occupation is what gives him the money to do what matters most to him. See motivation below. Motivation: Haggle's motivation is protecting and caring for his family. He views life from a grounded realistic perspective, though he is also very empathetic. He can be overprotective of his wife and foals, but he means well and he is always kind to them and honest with them. Likes: His wife, his children, taking care of everything himself, reading, educating his foals on useless information that he finds interesting (often to their great annoyances), spoiling his wife, sweet foods, and not really having life outside of his family other than what he does to support them Dislikes: Stallions who view themselves as superior to mares, anypony he deems stupid, having responsibilities done for him, anything that puts his wife in distress, and socializing with the outside world more than he has to Character Summary: Haggle was given a fairly average foalhood. He had a mother and a stepfather who considered him as his own, and he was the eldest of a group of half-siblings. He was the typical eldest child in that he acted as another parent. While he worked hard and was stronger than most colts, he was also very bookish and intellectual. In fact, he was (and, to an extent, still is) something of an intellectual snob. He dismissed many as too stupid for his company, and as time went on, he became more and more reserved and standoffish. Without trying to, Draggle changed his mind about intelligence and reopened his heart to helping others. She did not fit into any of the beliefs he had established about what makes for a smart pony, and so for that (and their similar names) he was intrigued by her - and he soon fell head over hooves in love. By the time the couple met, she was exhausting herself with standing on her own four legs. He decided she could use his help, permanently. She is his muse and he showers her with affection every day. While she is older, there is a definite paternal aspect to his adoration in that he is such a provider and there is no denying she can be silly. Haggle is in ways the opposite of his love. While both care greatly about foals and family, he is an introvert who silently dislikes all the chaos his extroverted wife runs into. He loves desserts, and she hates desserts. He takes pride in keeping clean, and she is something of a mess. He can be uppity toward those outside his home, but she never forgot her roots. On the other hand, he is often much more practical than she. To strangers, it often seems that he is a know-it-all and she is a ditz, but that is not entirely correct.
  14. I was seriously not expecting to be accepted! (I didn't move this application over here from the drafting section of the board!) Thank you so so so much!
  15. Draggle

    Um -

WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS HOW PERFECT THIS IS!!!!!! THANK YOU AN INFINITE NUMBER OF TIMES!!!!!
  16. Does that mean anything? I can't find any definition for it.
  17. I need to name my character's mate. (My character is a remake of Draggle, as a broken-horned unicorn. Her mate is an earth pony, based muchly off my own husband.) I can't think of anything. Some names I thought of have been Breathes 'n' Eats, Nice Guy, and Draggle's Husband. This is pathetic. "What does James like to do?" Ride ATVs... ?
  18. Oh, there is no denying there is a ton of myself in this character. It's a given, since I greatly identified with the original. Don't worry, I can make up characters that are different from me. I just couldn't resist this chance. She absolutely is the type of pony who watches everypony's foals. I was going to add that most of her volunteer work involves teaching foals, but I didn't know how exactly to word that and I felt like I was junking up the "occupation" section. (What would be the pony equivalent of scouting or afterschool programs?) She is a mare of many trades, all trades with the same focus. I'm glad you're interested!
