Can often be found in Ponyville for business purposes (I.e. Buy supplies, deserts)Occupation: Carpenter, welder and handymanMotivation: To give ponies all over the country a home, and prove that he is the best carpenter in the world.Likes:Himself, females, money, soda, comic books, sarcastic comments made by him, showing offDislikes: Oranges, sarcastic comments made by others, obnoxious ponies, stuck up rich ponies.CharacterSummary: An egotistical showoff, who believes that if you've got it, you must flaunt it. Blackfire believes that the very universe revolves around him. He is brave, but unless a particular problem is affecting him, he will do nothing about it. He was born in Solstice heights, into a loving family. A small one, A mother and father. His mother, an outdoursy camper unicorn, named Campfire, and a mustacheod Carpenter named Blackhammer. Blackfire spent many years interested in carpentry and certain types of magic. At a young age, he learned to manipulate fire and heat, using his horn. He also learned to move things magically, but he was far more impressed by the fires. His combination of carpentry and fire skills, ended up giving him a cutie mark involving both. After years spent raising their son, they left to roam the world. Explore the unexplore, rebuild the broken and to relax in the most scerene places. Blackfire swore to use his powers for good, and helping ponies all over the country. To build. Houses and not destroy homes, to warm the cold and not to burn the innocent. Recently, Blackfire began wearing a long sleeved black jacket with the words "Show Off" in rhinestones on the back. One of his major flaws is his arrogance, and his awkwardly poor social skills from living with his parents his whole life and not having many (Any) friends of his age. Blackfire had access to a very good school in Solstice heights, but failed to make friends due to his showoff personality. Following his initial session of school, he went to study architecture and soon got his degree. Soon afterwards, his parents left on their voyage.. He usually acts as nonchalant as possible, but he would become a clumsy wreck if any female whatsoever would speak to him, usually leading to his embarrassement. deleteaccountpls Posted March 19, 2012 Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 Never really was a fan of the egotistical types, but I must say, he does seem to have whatever it is he seems to think he has, he is one cool colt! One thing I do find rather intersting though is that he's a carpenter, and the entire association of carpenters with Christ often brings to mind a humble model-citizen, and perhaps a borderline Mary Sue, but your characters seems to turn this archetype on its head. I don't think ponies really entertain the idea of using their talent for anything but good. I mean, the only evil we've really seen in show is from the big baddies.
