Cloud nodded, "I'll take him the keys, boss." He took the keys and began his short trek. On the way up Cloud overheard Swash and decided to play a little prank, in a ghostly tone he began to speak. "Ye may only pass if you answer my riddle; what do pirates love more than treasure?" Cloud asked, hidden around the corner.

I click open the door, and keep my eyes pasted on the clock, moving all I can in those 10 minutes (a gentleman is never late), and with a huff and a drop of sweat or two on my brow, ready and hungry for good food, and to escort a new found filly.

Snowy, Madame, I am ready to take you to lunch, and for you to take me on a nice walk around the vast expanse of my new home.

I warmly smile to her, and stand by the counter, with a calm stance, and look at her with care and a delicately soft gaze.

Snowy smiles shyly at Swash and slowly walks from behind the desk after placing a few papers into a folder and setting them into a file. She walks over and hesitates for a second before going next to him.

Thyme, because of her unreliable memory, found herself wandering in circles through the building trying to find the kitchen again. She realized she was going the wrong way when she found herself back at the entrance. Snowy was putting away papers it seemed, and Swash was there with her. They're so cute together! Thyme tryed her best to sneak to the hallway, but she was sure they heard her trotting. She found her way back to the kitchen, and was making sure everything was perfect for her first official customer.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, just lost. Still need to get use to this place." She said with a laugh. "I think.... Okay, found the kitchen. Wait.... Yes, this is my kitchen." She was about to walk in, when she stopped herself to tell Cloud something. "Oh, and if you need some work, I think there's a flickering light in the hallway near room.... A113, I believe. See ya' later!" She entered her kitchen, and quickly ran to the cupboards. Swaff is having company. I only made this meal to be enough for one pirate, so unless he's generous, there won't be much for the receptionist lady. What was her name? Rainy? Cloudy- no, wait, that's maintenance guy. I'll work it out with her later, for now, I need to make extra for her while I can.

Thyme began working fast and hard, but unfortunately, the recipe took time to cook. Rainy will just have to wait a bit. She relaxed, and waited for them to enter.

Realizing that she doesn't quite know where the dining hall is, her ears go down a bit and she smiles nervously at Swash. "S-Sure..." She looks over at the hallway to the right of her, attempting to guess where it might be.

I notice her ears droop and say sympathetically,

I'm sure we can find it, everything is an adventure if you think about it, Miss Snow. And adventures are best when shared, No? And every adventure needs a leader, and I'll nominate you for just that, New Head of the Expedition,

I say with a slightly more upbeat playfulness, and I float back down to inspiring and nice,

and I'll trust the Expedition Chief wherever she goes, and during whatever she does.

I softly tap her hoof with mine and wait for her, patiently, graciously.

Once arrived Cloud grabbed a clipboard with his part of the schedule on it. He was basically done, he introduced himself and fixed anything that was needed. He was happy that he was in such a well maintained building though. He took off his toolbelt and returned upstairs to the dining room, a nice lunch would be perfect.

Grey Matter wanted to join everypony for lunch, but as he had woken up at 5 am, he figured it was time for a nap. He headed up to his Penthouse, had a glass of cider, and fell asleep. Not on his bed, but on the couch. The one facing toward his large, open-viewed, window. Why, he could see home from there.

"Home" he thought, as he drifted to sleep.

He dreamed during that nap. He dreamed of Fillydelphia. He loved the city life, but hated the people. When you live in a big city, you have less friends than you think. He had only a few, as others would move in and move out in weeks. He hated that, he always thought children of his age needed stability. Needed a home, not several. He recalls the people there, walking down the streets, not saying a word to anypony. He wondered how many ponies had missed out on a full life, because they walked right past their sole mate, and ne'er spoke a word to them.

That thought alone was enough to scare him awake.

After being awakened, Grey Matter decided to go downstairs to join the others. First, he opens the speaking channels, which he had installed so he could easily contact maintenence, front desk, and the kitchen from his penthouse, and vice versa. He opens the channel to the kitchen, to give Thyme his order. Some Clam Chowder. New England style. He heads down five minutes later.

I chuckle at the display, taking in the way her blush highlights her cheeks into the color of a crystal clear and pink sunset on the beaches I recalled from an adventurer's life, and say

Well, I think that Miss Snowy's words speak the truest, Lunch sounds fantastic right now, and a True Lady like Snowy should not be kept waiting, especially when a feast is involved.

I give a respectful nod to Snowy, and turn to the Janitor, saying

Would you be opposed to help guide us in this expedition, my good sir?
