Long and silky tail, always tied tight with a bow. Her mane is swept into a wavy updo and clipped with a lavender coloured bow.Physique: Thin and tall, always watches what she eats with precision.Cutie Mark: A lavender bow, representing her strong sense of fashion and decoration.Origin/Residence: Dodge Junction, the town that will remain in her heart forever. Boxy was born and raised there, and while she considers herself more of a Canterlot kind of pony, she enjoys the simple charms it has to offer.Occupation: Boxy works at the local Salt Bar, a waitress. While she best enjoys working with fashion, she hasn't got the money to open up a place in Canterlot yet.Motivation: As much as she loves Dodge Junction, not many ponies there are very fashion oriented. She dreams of moving to Canterlot and starting her very own business, creating and selling fashions. She would also serve as a seamstress, fixing up old broken down dresses and suits, making them sparkle and shine. All she needs is to save a bit more money, then she can move away from Dodge Junction once and for all!Character Summary:Heart-Shaped Box was born in Dodge Junction, to two very country ponies. She enjoyed the many charms of the town, the people were friendly and proud. She most admired the finer ponies in town, the ones with money and class. She came from a poorer family, and wished to be just like them. Boxy learned how to sew and has since been making and designing her own clothes.Boxy's parents were extremely hard workers. Her mother, Dixie Drawl, worked the Apple Feilds during the day and did roller derby at night. Her father, Georgia Sparkler, cooked for the local barbecue joint, then came home to watch the baby. Their income was very small, and the family hardly made it a year. But they were, none the less, a happy loving family. Her parents are now retired in Solstice Heights, living leisurely after so many years of hard work. When Boxy was a young filly, she was given her very first sewing machine by a local seamstress who wanted to get rid of it in any way possible. It was a useless old machine, barely working at all. But Boxy was determined to sew herself a fancy dress to wear at school. She struggled for weeks on end, fighting with the sewing machine until she produced a dress worthy of envy. She wore it to school the next day, and jaws dropped. Her classmates and teachers could not believe her remarkable talent! She was flooded with requests, and made herself a list of them. She soon found a better sewing machine, and worked on them endlessly. When she was paid for her first request, she got the idea to open a store up. The next morning, a cutie mark appeared on her flank.Boxy is very stubborn, and overly-generous at times. She tries incredibly hard to please and impress people, even people who simply cannot be pleased. This causes her much trouble at times. A few times she has made herself absolutely exhausted because of a very difficult order (its even worse when its due too soon!). She also is way too hard on herself sometimes, a true perfectionist.Boxy is friendly, proud, and sassy. She doesn't take no for an answer, and believes in the old saying "A mare must break her back to earn her day of leisure" above most things. She enjoys the finer things in life, grape juices and jewels. She considers herself very sophisticated, but also has a good old country side to her. She is a fast-talker, bubbly and full of opinions no matter the topic. She is focused straight in on any goal, and can do anything she puts her mind to.GALLERYArtwork done by: SparkleFire, WildGambit and I.
flutterscotch
*inserts Nirvana comment*You might want to change her location. Appleoosa's only been around a year, max 2 at this point, so as a mare she couldn't have been born there.
