Ginger Mint Posted June 17, 2012 Report Share Posted June 17, 2012 hi hiI think the place where someone is banished to has more to do with their own personality rather than the preference of the pony doing the banishing.Nightmare Moon wanted eternal night, the Elements of Harmony sent her to the moon where (in Equestria anyway) it is always night.So I suspect that if somepony had a penchant for burning things and causing a general mess through pyromania, that pony might be banished in the sun for a while. Though its clearly more of a metaphysical event, I mean, the mare in the moon showed up as a series of craters, but nightmare moon didn't look very cratery when she returned. YABrony Posted June 17, 2012 Report Share Posted June 17, 2012 Celistia banished Nightmare Moon in the moon, not Luna.I thought it was some sort of suspended animation.Nightmare Moon (or Luna) could survive on the moon since that's her element, so Celestia was not excessively cruel in banishing her there.
