Hey. If Dusty's still planning on playing the Element of Kindness, then all the Element positions are taken. We still haven't started up yet though, so you could play a tag-a-long character to the group. Be it a member of Vault Security, a doctor/medic, or an engineer. If you're willing to wait a little longer then you can play as a Wastelander, but you wouldn't be able to rp until after we left the vault in that case.

Yeah, you'd have an effect on the plot and such, it's just you're not 100% story important. I mean, my main character is going to be in the same boat. It's not like you won't be actively participating and such. It just really means that you're not an Element really. The only prerequisite is that you're a Vault Dweller who has a real reason to be there, hopefully with useful skills. You could still have scenarios tailored to you and such. It's not quite as demeaning as it sounds. You're still a full party member.

Don't worry about it, Dusty. Although it's getting quite late where I am. I might have to start this up tomorrow instead. I'm thinking the 18+ forums here in the Free-for-all section.

That would be the only way I could see this working, 18+ and free for all are both nessesary. One question, will this be like dungons and dragons, with a bunch of story related and random encounters, or will we also get to flush out our characters and there relationship with one another.

Physique: He is vary tail, towering over must ponies. His fur is snow white over a think sea of muscle. Long hair starting at the cannon bone flows down over his hooves. He has long ears looking more like a mule and not a pony; he has a big cut over his left eye and has 5 earnings on his right ear.

Personality: "AH'M A' PINÃTA!" Great sense of humor, good-nature, generous, Optimistic, determined, cunning and reckless. He is dependable and will risk his life for those he cares about. He has some faults, he is stubborn and has a “they’ll-never-catch-me” attitude. He will push his luck to its limits and has a tendency to trust the wrong ponies, and well not heed the advice of his friends until it's too late.

Character Summary: Jukebox technician, he may not hold the most shocking of jobs, but he loves it. But, past his work he is known for being the most Kind and caring pony in the Vault, putting ever one before his self. He has time and time toke the fall for some pony. Even flat up lying to keep them safe as he gets all the heat. Past that he is known for never being the must smart of ponies, never even really passing school he never got the hang of math or reading bigger words; but he never failed to fix something that no pony else can.

Clothing: Vault 54 utility jumpsuit

Mane Weapon: custom H&H Tools nail gun

Secondary Weapon: arc welder

Melee Weapon: sledgehammer

Mis: He is color blind and plays a harmonica; can sing too, his dad was a donkey.

Perks: Good as Gelded (+ damage to the same sex, and unique dialogue options on the same-gender individuals (whose barn door swings that way))

I'm aiming for a mix of both. I don't want this to be a statfest, which is why I'm not counting skills and such. This will probably make fights very one-sided, but Soarin and I still control the opponents, so we can at least make fights exciting. Basically we'll make a scenario and you guys'll react to it, I'm not going to give you options or stat checks, but I will probably make it so someone who isn't explicitly a tech specialist can't defuse a bomb. So there will be an element of reason to it. How you react and what you do is up to you. There will be some points where overarching events take place, so some scenarios might lead to full on missions. In case you can't tell, I'm planning on going for a long haul. This is a tad experimental, but I think we can do it.

Nice Character App, Dusty. I would just like to point out that Harlequin is already a jukebox technician, so you guys'll probably have to know each other before we start. I'll also point out the weapon rule, as it may become important later on. That is one main weapon, one secondary weapon, and a melee weapon. Writing you in.

Well, even then, if some one is gone all day, don't speed ahead with out them too. It's no fun if you come back and your team left you in the dust on some thing.

Oh! and Thebluemage, seeing as are two will know one other much thanks to the same job, care to talk in PM to work out the two, and how they get a long?

Well we could always have idle interaction between characters where applicable. Not during a fight sequence, but just as we wait for someone who needs to progress the story, and the ponies are in a reletivly safe place, where chatting would be acceptable.

Oh right! For those of you who haven't read Fallout Equestria, the way the ponies used their guns was either in their mouth for small arms or melee weapons (The trigger was specially made for ponies), for bigger weapons, (Sniper and Flamer for CloudShimmers and Thebluemage) was something called a "battlesaddle" they would basically strap the weapon to either side of their saddlebags, and use a mouth trigger for it. Unicorns usually used levetation... Just F.Y.I. for you all, you don't have to use it this way, but just in case you are wondering how a pony could use a heavy weapon... yeah.
