  1. Just gonna slip in here...unnoticed...winning...
  2. Phil is an accomplished yuri writer as well, one of my favorites is his Naruto OC epic "Echoing of the Fragile Winds". That said, welcome home old friend. *throws up hoof*
  3. Ah! Dearest Remi! Sorry I had to cut out randomly yesterday, I had an engagement to keep. I'll be on chat almost all day so keep your eyes peeled!
  4. Sometimes, when the damage is done, the damage is DONE. And time can sometimes hinder as well as hurt. Just as the elements of harmony, the elements of discord can sometimes be everlasting.
  5. My affilation to the Pony nation remains only alluded to in the little things I do. Example: In Fable 3, I named all of my melee weapons are ponies. I feel kind of badass when I say I'm taking Twilight Sparkle to battle with me.
  6. It wouldn't be as drastic as exile, but I don't take well to the idea of my brony status being public. I only reserve that knowledge for my best friends.
  7. Kind of! It didn't surprise me in the least, and I was half-expecting her to pop in from off screen and say "Yes, Rarity?"
  8. Wow! So greetings many in one day! I knew this place was official, but I didn't know how alive it was! I'd like to thank everypony who dropped me a line as a new pony here
  9. Waiting for...application...for Napalm...Bright...

  10. Name: Blaze Bright Gender: Female Age: Filly (16) Species: Unicorn Pelt Color: Bright Red Mane/Tail Color & Style: Spiky flame tail, elegant flame color mane. Secretly simply searching for true meaning of ponyhood. Sells fireworks as well. Likes:Fireworks, Calm walks, Gourmet food, Good conversation. Dislikes: Tactless folk, liars, cliches, dependence, day time. Character Summary: Blaze Bright was born and raised in Canterlot. Her parents were travelling doctors who went missing the year she turned five. From then on, her older sister, Ashsmoke continued to raise her. Blaze, though brought up through traditional pony values, and full of understanding and hope, developed a slight dislike of depending on others. For even though her sister's homeschooling had taught her of the magic of friendship, she grew up disconnected with her fellow foals. While not a genius, or a child prodigy like the oft-talked of Twilight Sparkle, Blaze cemented her namesake with her early proficency with fire magic. She combined that with her knowledge of compounds and began to make fireworks. Literate at an early age, as well, she wrote her first book at 15. Titled, "One Pony", her first release made her the scorn of Canterlot. Labeled as anti-Celestia, anti-Harmony propoganda, her book simply explained what it meant to stand on ones own four hooves. Reviewers and critics alike slammed “One Pony” with no mercy, claiming that she was a “lost cause” among a population that valued togetherness above life itself. Retailers carrying the book pulled it from the shelves immediately after the first week, desperate to distance themselves from such a controversial product. Surely enough though, like most products of the like, a few books managed to be distributed outside of canterlot. The few copies that made it out to as far as Trottingham managed to achieve moderate success in presenting ideas that bucked societal trends that had been in place for centuries. Nevertheless, Blaze had no support at home, aside of her sister. She found it highly ironic that the values of friendship and togetherness were forsaken amongst her fellow ponies in lieu of shared dislike. This eventually caused her to question her faith in friendship, for its foundations seemed to her, to be more tenuous when challenged. Through it all though, Ashsmoke simply told times like this came along for everypony and that it would all be over soon. Though those words of comfort gave her solace in the moment, the outside world had no shortage of frustration. Going out to do anything was a chore because she developed an aversion to public places when they were crowded. Ashsmoke began taking up even more of the slack around the house, leaving Blaze to her own devices. She had gone from questioning her faith to questioning herself, and what she was meant to do. All she knew how to do was write and al she had managed to do was make herself a social pariah…well that and make fireworks, but the fireworks were merely a hobby to her, an activity that she never had actively pursued to make a trade. But it was something to do, for time being… She grabbed the few materials left from the birthday that she had officially reached fillyhood, and began trying her old craft of firework making again. Each one however, only reflected her current mood, fizzling and sputtering out instead of blazing brightly and taking to the sky. A few months after the fallout had subsided somewhat, Ash had brought several large bags with her home that night. She woke the young filly from her sleep with a smile, “Hey, Blazie, wake up… I got something for ya.” A bleary eyed Blaze had opened each of the bags to find a large amount of high-quality ingredients for fireworks. Just as Blaze was about to politely (albeit reluctantly) refuse, her sister held up a firework apparently made from the recently procured materials. “This one is yours,” she said through the firework in her mouth. “Let’s go light it.” Ash led Blaze to a clearing a good distance from the city walls. In the midst of setting up, Blaze got caught staring at Ash, dumbfounded. She didn’t know her sister also knew how to do make fireworks. Questions that she didn’t know how to answer were swept away as Ash handed her the lit match. She held it below the fuse for a second and then backed away to stomp out the smoldering remains. The fuse reached the firework and its heavenly glow as it shot off the ground with bang was bright enough to leave Blaze speechless. The sparkles that came with every crack and pop rained down from the air, painting images in the sky. Hard to make out at first, before clearing out, tears began to stream down Blaze’s face when she noticed that the multicolored sparks were the images of her family. Her mother, her father, and the one that looked like her was the most detailed, and more importantly, the brightest one. Noticing her sister losing horribly to fight back tears that had been long-held back, Ash moved in to nuzzle her sister. “Blaze... Don’t let the neighsayers get to you. Mom and dad always said you could do anything you wanted to.” She had said. Blaze was at a loss for words, but suddenly, realized that she didn’t need to say anything. She knew what her sister had said to be true, and yet… “I…I never forgot…” That night, Blaze had earned cutie mark. A trio of fireworks, one for each person in her life that helped her spirit to take off, Eventually, she was called in to her sister's chambers one day where she proposed a trip. The two set off on the road to Ponyville, and Ash left her at a cafe close by the city with a note reading, "I love you, Blaze. And you know our parents did as well. You've grown into a wonderful, intelligent, powerful little filly. I know that you have questions about certain things. And it's time you found the answers. But you won't find them here. You'll be going to Ponyville. I've already given you enough so you can find a house to rent. A friend of mine will be waiting for you there. And I want you to write to me as often as possible. And in whatever you do, know this: one pony, may not always be enough."
  11. Hi there! I'm new as well, and your expressed desire in fanfics has caught my eye! I'm an fic author myself, so if you wanna talk story, you can totally hit me up.
  12. A warm welcome indeed. If I seem formal...well...that's the magic of formality being invoked. I heard the new episode already aired today, not to mention, the third season has already been confirmed to boot, so I'm in high spirits right now.
  13. About myself.: I'm a young adult who's been out of school for a while and I find myself inifinitely amazed with my newfound status as a brony. The phenomenon that is MLP has seized my heart and mind and is a refreshing change of pace from the usually blood-spattered, swear-laden cold hearted entertainment that the cynicism of age has brought me. How did you hear about Canterlot.com?: I know a fanfiction writer by the name of CrazyNinjaPenguin. He mentioned that a few OC's in his latest story are from the RP thread here. How did you became a fan of FiM?: There was an image macro on my girlfriend's photobucket account that had derp!Diane holding a knife between her hooves. The message said "Enjoy my parties or I'll cut you!" This lulz worthy pic brought me to just about everywhere else, the encyclopediadramatica page, the tvtropes page, deviantart, etc. Then my girlfriend started badgering me about it. She kept randomly saying "PONIES!!!" in such a celebratory voice that one day, I decided to check out the first two episodes with a friend. My one favourite main cast pony?: Miss Rarity Huh...look at that. All of my introductory information has been added. Making this space rather redundant. Well, I'm not here for nothing. I've been interested in an RP for the creation of my first OC pony, Napalm Bright. This forum looks so official and full of life (unlike most forums) that I just had to give this a shot. And don't the let the user name fool you, I am a guy, I am a brony, and I'm proud of it.
