It's a thing that does tend to happen a lot.

Rainy days in canterlot tended to sap Vinyls inclination to do anything - and as she looked outside to the grey clouds above, Vinyl found herself quite content to be wrapped up all in her covers and not wanting to do anything else but stay where she was in her front room, just listening to music and unwinding...a hot mug of coacoa resting on the side neaby for her consumption. The faint sound of thunder outside having an altogether surprising soothing effect... She'd just read the most recent letter received from ace for about the 3rd time, eyes closed as she pondered what she should say in reply - there was probably a lot she could say in a letter to the pegasus, but in all honesty she felt that she mostly needed to say them face to face, and not just through a letter - but still, seeing as this was the best she had right now...there wasn't any point arguing with herself on the matter! Almost as a matter of reflex, she summons the quill, inkpot and scroll-bundle from the desk in her room...and started to gingerly conduct a letter. With the letter now composed, she exhaled softly and rolled the scroll up with a deft telekinetic command, setting the newly-written letter near her saddlebag so she could take it down to the post office in the morning to have it delivered. She didn't really know what to expect of Ace's visitation in a few days, but she did know she was looking forward to it a great deal. For now, she rests her head down against the covers, closed her eyes and let the soft sound of trots domino carry her to sleep... Everything else could wait for the time being until the morning - right now, she simply wanted to let her thoughts drift to much happier things.

Berry watched her youngster dash back off towards her room - it was sorta adorable to see Ruby so enthusiastic about her friends at school, and Berry felt her heart swell a little with pride at the thought that her little pinchy was really starting to branch out and be a social pony... The idea that there were so many more sleepovers and adorable moments that she'd be able to watch pinchy enjoy and grow up with meant the world to the light-purple mare, who had done everything she could to bring her young daughter up as best she could on her own - it hadn't been easy, and there had been difficult times before in the past when Ruby was a younger and lesser capable foal, but with Pinchy growing up to be an adorable but polite little scruff of a pony...it seemed as though the best years of hers and pinchy's times together were just ahead within reach. Berry shook herself off - the silly sentimental haze shifted as she cleared her throat a little and awaited her silly Pinchy's return...tonight was going to be a very fun start to what looked to be one of the best weekends in her foals life so far, and she intended to make sure nothing got in the way of this!

For the most part, I can imagine the top advice from everyone would be use another browser...IE has a tendency of not being secure and generally has a very poor reputation as an incredibly unreliable and 'bargain basement' browser - I use Chrome, and frankly it operates better and with more versatility than IE can. Unless changing your browser isn't an option, it's something you should honestly look into as IE is increasingly looked upon as a 'joke' of a browser.

Heeeey, welcome - always nice to see a fellow sonic fan! :3 I'm a bit of a sonic fan myself { Robikku = Sonikku + Rob } and myself am an ardent fan of RP'ing on one particular Sonic RP Chat now and then. Good to know that you're venturing into the world of pony, and hope that things work out here - although I probably should warn you in advance that Sonic as a character probably wouldn't work out in the MANE Equestria RP, nor would a pony based on him too heavily...but you could probably work out a happy medium that allows you to retain certain characteristics without coming across too heavily as a complete similarity of Sonic and tus not be relegated to crossovers. Right off the bat, Berry knew this was going to be one of those interesting nights - she hadn't anticipated Pinchy asking her for a sleepover a few nights ago, and whilst she was a little apprehensive about the idea at first, it was Ruby's puppy-eyed gaze that finally sold the wine-maker mom into finally relenting and letting Apple Pie stay over for the weekend. Afterall, she knew that this was one of the important parts of Pinchy growing up, and she didn't wanna be 'THAT' parent who ever let her foal have any fun... As a result, she knew this meant that this weekend was going to be full of busy times and mischief of a foal-oriented nature. Berry does a quick last minute mental check - 'Proper Pony Planning Prevents Poor Performance' and all of that jazz, right? - Snacks? Check - All essential sleepin' stuff ready? Check - Extra batches of special sleepover smoothies, crushes and Juices? Check, Check and Check - Pinchy all ready for her visitor? ... Berry gives a quick look over at her l'il silly filly...there was certainly no denying that her l'il daughter was hyped up and bouncing in anticipation for what was going to happen today - Berry mentally checks off that last one in the list before clearing her throat a little and turning to Ruby. " Well, Ruby... " Berry says, giving a small chuckle as she did so. " You've done everything you need...Nothing that you've forgotten to take care of, right? " Ruby was often so preoccupied with her wild imaginative ways that sometimes she was a little forgetful about things that she might have needed to do but hadn't gotten around to taking care of just yet. Admittedly, Berry thought to herself, she couldn't immediately say there was anything else she'd asked the foal to do... Still, perhaps the youngster had something she might have thought about doing that she hadn't done yet - no harm in finding out, she concluded quietly.

Oh dear, this was turning into a pretty unfortunate scene...and one that made Robikku doubt that he wasn't dreaming in class! Misty seemed to be having herself quite a difficulty dealing with swallowing her food, which immediately put the Pegasus on alert...but before he could even make motions to move, it seemed as though Miracle had ideas of her own - and none of them seemed to involve helping the struggling peryton. She was reaching over towards Mistys meal, which led Robikku to give a quick groan before looking back at the rather silly mare with a dark frown, hissing his disapproval before stating the one thing that perhaps she'd not taken into account. " Perytons don't color change - Can't you see she's swallowed it wrong?! " Feeling a large quantity of panic building, Robikku slipped off where he sat and trots quickly behind Misty as she sat up, choking and flailing... " Ugh, not sure how I'm s'posed to do this, but here goes nothing! " Robikku utters to himself, before rising up on hishind legs a little and thrusting out at Misty's back with his front forelegs, hoping beyond hope that he could dislodge the blockage in some way - he wasn't exactly well versed in handling a situation like this, so his nerves were aflame with uncertainty, and his knowledge of what he could do here was equally flaky. Truth be told, he had no idea whether or not this would even work...but give it a try he did anyway.
