    Hey guys!

Haha. No worries. It's mostly to make sure 1) Everyone is introduced and has a chance to be welcomed. And 2) To combat the potential spammers. Most spammers only ever post ONCE, so limiting WHERE they can do that is important.
  2. Just saw this on my news feed. This absolutely cracks me up. The art's dead on with the simulated Jack Kirby feel. I pulled from this article: http://www.comicsalliance.com/2011/03/1 ... re_twitter And there's a 'full cover' at that link.
  3. What is your Steam name? Melty Justice. (no joke) What game do you play the most via Steam? Lately? TF2 with Ashi and her pals. What is your favorite game? Out of what I bought through Steam? Hm. Maybe Bioshock 2. Or Shank. Shank is awesome. Do you have a group? Not really; I got invited to Global-Gaming and accepted, but I don't know anyone from it. Do you play on Mac or Windows? Windows. And as a hobby sometimes I try playing stuff on Linux.
  4. Welcome to the boards; are our bronies fantastic or what? -- I love that Ashi and I aren't the only ones greeting the new ponies. xD

    Hey guys!

Welcome to the forums, Z'zgashi. Thanks for the PM; I hope the rules I linked to explained why you're stuck in the Introduction threads for now. But don't worry -- it's VERY easy to get past that 5 postcount.
  6. Just a fair warning, there is a character already named KeyLime Dream.
  7. Ohhh, now I see what you mean. xD Yeah for our world it won't fit in at all, but if you wanted you can totally use this as a personal-bio and RP with it in the Cross-Overs section!
  8. What is your Steam name? AshiJazz What game do you play the most via Steam? TF2 - Prop hunt lol What is your favorite game? Only played TF2 so far. ;; Dunno yet. Do you have a group? Group? Uhh, don't think so. New to it and all. Do you play on Mac or Windows? Wiiiiindows!
  9. Thank you Fidley! Glad to see others promoting discussion and concepts! And this looks really good, like Fidley said the technology is still very crude and messy steam-work like things to keep in mind. Other than that I approve!
  10. Adorable. I love it! Approved.

Hello and welcome to Equestria! My name is Ashi and I'm one of the creators/owners of the equestrian forums! I just wanted to stop in and be sure to let you know one of the better places to check out first is Getting Started area. After you had a chance to look at some tid bits and maybe snag a free icon don't forget to take a look at our RULES here on the forums. They are still pretty important! This forum is here for fun discussion of general things, ponies, and even a little bit of role play for those who enjoy that sort of thing! If you don't no need to worry, there are lots of other thread to chill in. We look forward to seeing you around, hope you enjoy yourself here on our forums. We could definitely use more input on the Lore and Map areas being fleshed out! I hope you see you around in the suggestions area then! C:
  12. >Equestria's army That's okay here, I think the army/guard is acceptable for our world since little twilight and her friends can't handle every big-baddy that comes around ponyfolk. Looks great, approved!
  13. [ Pony Related Character ] Name: Cliff Noble Gender: Male Age: Stallion (young adult) Species: Pegasus Pelt Color: A sandy tan. Mane/Tail Color & Style: A dark chocolate that sheens naturally in the light, moderately cropped. It's naturally straight and a little spiky, and looks fairly ignored, like he doesn't have time for it. Eye Color: Green, not quite as dark as emerald but not quite as light as grass. Cutie Mark: A stylized, heroic flight helmet with a 'rudder' on the top. Physique: Slim, but not underweight; muscled, but not built. Of average height; not short for his age, but not on the tall end of things either. Moderate. Residence: Currently living in Ponyville, but was born and lived his (very) young life in Trottingham. Occupation: Assists the weather crew as a psuedo-permanent intern of sorts, but is limited to the "heavy lifting" -- pushing rainclouds and the like. Motivation: Despite being somewhat clumsy, Cliff knows in his heart he's meant to be the best flyer Ponydom has ever seen. He feels the need to be in the air as often as possible, always working, rarely resting... He sees himself as a sort of 'hero in training', wanting both of his parents to be proud of him. Likes: Bees; they're little creatures that have no business flying, but they do and have their place in the world. Dislikes: Ponies who pop bubblegum! And bullies. Character Summary: Life isn't always as straightforward as it seems to be in Ponyville. Mr. Noble, a Pegasus who worked in Cloudsdale, was well liked, respected, with a level head despite it being in the clouds all day. A chance request for a change in weather brought the stallion to a nearby town, Trottingham, where he met the earthbound Fillie who would end up giving birth to Cliff. A whirlwind of a romance later and the newly titled Mrs. Noble was joined by her husband. He began commuting back and forth to the city in the clouds. Many of his bronies disapproved, and he became ridiculed. It didn't take long before he was taken off the lead shift, given the odd jobs no pony wanted and had his hours cut. They made ends meet, but both wanted a better life for their new foal, Cliff Noble. They moved to Ponyville, knowing a wide variety of ponies, unicorns, and pegasi all lived together. It was like a new world. Cliff was able to grow up openly accepted -- with only the occasional whispers of things like "half breed" from the other schoolponies. 'Nevermind them', his parents told him. 'Be true to yourself, son, and only good things will come.' Mrs. Noble was able to help as an assistant at the local school, serving lunches; Mr. Noble took contracted work, traveling from place to place, doing the odd jobs only a strong pegasus (with experience) could handle. It meant he was away often for days, even weeks -- but family life, home life, has continued to be good, and the marriage strong. Cliff is proud of his parents, constantly wanting praise and affection; especially from his mother, who often compares Cliff with his father. For a flyer, he's not terribly adept at flying. But the brony keeps his head held high, letting very little get to him. He knows in his heart he's meant for greatness - a point driven home by the appearance of his cutie mark the same day he decided to follow in his father's hoofsteps. In most conversations, Cliff is seemingly an open book -- it's just that he lets very little get to him. A mistake that could lead another pony to feeling devastated is instead shaken off, the topic closed and his attention redirected just as simply as flipping the pages of a book. He may appear aloof for it, but he's not really - he's just too busy thinking about the greatness he's destined to achieve. (Art by.... me!)
  14. Moved topic to Brony Chatter, since it's just linking to a video. Also yeah, swf uploads -should- be disabled on the board.

    Hello

Moved topic to "Introductions". Welcome to the Equestria forums, Annabelle.
  16. Welcome to the forums; I'll have to ask you to change your username slightly. We have an RP section to the forums where people can apply to play as "cast" members from the show -- Big Macintosh being one of them -- and having someone post around the forums with the name of a "cast member" might be confusing to people participating in the roleplay.
  17. Haha, just had good timing.
  18. That's a good idea! This is why I love people brain storming together.
