  1. Renard's been posting all over the place on his Tumblr that he's into the ponies! XD You're welcome! The rest of his music is equally amazing!
  2. So this guy I kind of know just posted a great remix. Maybe you know of him? He goes by Renard. Here's his Tumblr post with this awesome song (Warning, it's really loud) By the way, it has nothing to do with Rainbow Dash liking girls XD http://queenston.tumblr.com/post/3887610001
  3. A beautiful misty morning greeted Keylime as she woke up in her bed. The sky was tinted a light pink as the sun rose over the sea. A shaft of light nudged it's way through the trees above Keylime's window and fell on her pillow. She squinted and yawned, still a little tired from her long work day before. Stretching her forelegs out in front of her, Keylime brought herself to a sitting position on the bed. Keylime got up out of her bed and trotted to her vanity. Her hair was a bit messy from her slumber, so she began to comb it out using her magic to levitate the hair brush. "Hmm, I wonder if anypony saw the poster last night..." she wondered out loud. After straightening out her mane and tail, Keylme Dream clopped down the stairs into the kitchen of her restaurant, Anne Bonny waddling behind her. She made herself a fruit tart with some coffee for a breakfast and walked into the main restaurant. Coming through the door was an usual sight. "Oh my stars..." Keylime said under her breath. This poor soul looked like he had been through a hundred sea storms and back. Keylime set down her breakfast on the counter and trotted over to the stranger. Anne Bonny stared at this unusual pony entering the shop, but was quickly distracted by Keylime leaving her delicious fruit tart unattended... "My goodness sir, you look like you need some care!" She looked the strange pony up and down, noticing is many scars and prosthetic leg. He had clearly seen many challenges in his life, and Keylime was sure he had some amazing stories to tell. She noticed his thin figure, assuming he hadn't eaten in quite some time. "Please sir," she said with a warm smile, waiving a hoof at the stools in front of the bar that faced the kitchen. "Have a seat here and I would be happy to arrange a breakfast for you! I hope you like sweet foods!" Keylime got to work on cooking up a pleasant meal for the stranger...
  4. So who all out there is using Steam!? Ok, I'm not (I don't have a job at the moment, so it's NOT a good idea for me to start buying games again) But I haven't seen a post for everyone to share their Steam names, groups etc. How about we just reply with the basic info about each other. What is your Steam name? What game do you play the most via Steam? What is your favorite game? Do you have a group? Do you play on Mac or Windows? I dunno, if I was more of a gamer, I'd probably be playing Left 4 Dead(2) or Team Fortress 2. I've played the both of them at friend's houses and they're a lot of fun! How about you guys?
  5. As Keylime Dream ushered her last customer out of the shop, she could feel her aching hooves needing a break. She had been standing nearly all day serving customers. Keylime took off her apron and set it on the counter. The tired unicorn sunk to the floor in exhaustion. "Oh my, what a long day..." she said out loud. She closed her bright orange eyes, fearful of looking around the shop that needed to be cleaned for the night. After a moment's rest, Keylime finally stood up, her legs quivering just a bit below her. She began to do her cleanup duties around the shop, sweeping the floor, washing the countertops, and soaking all the dishes. She relied on her magic to help her levitate things around. Even Anne Bonny, Keylime's pet iguana, did her best to help by pushing a cleaning rag across the counters. Keylime finished an hour later and set down the mop. The chartreuse pony looked around her now sparkling clean shop and sighed with content. She walked onto her front porch and sat down, admiring the beautiful landscape in front of her. The sun had already set, but beautiful dark oranges and pinks still graced the tropical sky, illuminating the bottoms of a few storm clouds on the horizon. "Aaaa..." she sighed. "What a busy day it was Anne..." Anne Bonny had waddled out to the porch with Keylime and snuggled up to her. Keylime lay on her porch, the small lights she had up quietly illuminated her charming shop. She pondered for a moment what she should do tomorrow. It was her only day off during the week, so she usually used it as a cleaning or relaxing day. "Hmm, I should probably restock my fruits and flavorings tomorrow." she pondered out loud. With that thought, Keylime got up and trotted back inside, making sure to close the bead curtain behind her. Anne Bonny jumped onto Keylime's back. Keylime went to the cold storage under the stairs to check her supply of exotic fruits, flavor extracts and various other baking goods. "Hmm, I should pick up some oranges, apples, limes, perhaps some cherries too... Oh, and it looks like I need to get more coconut juice and pineapples! Those 'Filly' Pina Coladas are getting popular!" Keylime ventured further into the cold storage, making sure she checked everything. "Oh my goodness gracious!" she exclaimed. How could I be out of Thunderhoof Blossom Extract already!? I could have sworn I portioned those mixes properly... I suppose I over calculated..." Keylime paced the cold storage, a look of frustration set on her face. She finally stopped and stamped her left hoof down, now with a look of determination. "I'll just have to go and get some myself!" but suddenly her determined attitude turned to worry. "Oh, but I can't make it up the mountain alone... I usually send some stronger pony to get it for me. But I just don't think anypony would take such a hard task on such sort notice..." Keylime hung her head in defeat, knowing that she would not be able to hike the dormant volcano alone. A thought suddenly entered the unicorn's mind. That's it! I can ask around the town if anypony could come with me! Keylime happily trotted out of the cold storage, shutting the door behind her. "I'll even hang a sign in the city center! Somepony is sure to be free tomorrow!" Keylime quickly got to work on making a sign... After finishing the sign, Keylime Dream looked it over. She finally approved of her handiwork and rolled the parchment up using her magic. "Now Anne Bonny, I need you to stay here while I run into town to put this up. It will only be a moment!" Anne Bonny nodded her head in agreement and climbed to the counter. Keylime picked up the poster in her mouth and trotted off to the city center...
  6. Do you have a dream pet? I would love to have 2 ferrets or 2 sugar gliders! Why 2 of each? To keep each other company when I'm not there! XD They're such adorable little critters, and I bet they're a lot of fun to have too. Do you own a pet? Yes I do! What kind of pet(s) do you own? I have a male 2 year old tabby cat named Kiwi. He's mostly a greyish brown with black stripes. He's also got some creamy colored rings around his eyes and white on his chin and some parts of his belly. Do/Did any of your pets have any special quirks/tricks? Kiwi is ridiculously friendly. To the point of almost constant annoyance! XD He's always trying to get up in my lap when I'm trying to work, or needing to be in my face when I'm on the phone. He's still a total sweetheart of course!

    Blizzards!

I just HATE winter weather so much! I've been wanting to move out of Ohio since I got here! That ice storm back in February was brutal. I didn't leave my house for almost two weeks straight! The temperature outside never really got above freezing for those 2 weeks so it was pointless to try and go out. The roads were a mess, power was out on a lot of the streets around me. By the end of that stretch, I was surviving on a meager daily diet of noodles, bread and water! @_@ And I had even stocked up before the storm! Oh, and I have a gallery for the pictures I managed to catch too! http://imgur.com/a/yIg2Q An here's the worst part about my hate for winter: My boyfriend and I are starting to talk about moving in together. This is super awesome news of course! But he's moving to Boston. BOSTON. And he wants me to come with him once he gets settled. IN BOSTON.
  12. Oh this is too awesome!
  13. Really? I was under the impression the morale of the story was "Women whine to torture men and get what they want." Maybe I have a different point of view of something. Hmm... it could have also been that too... They say that all kids cartoons have both a youth meaning and a political meaning... XD
  14. BEST. EPISODE. EVER. Seriously, this has the best animation so far, best story, and look! The overall message that the show is trying to convey! Women are not weak!
  15. [ Pony Related Character ] Name: Keylime Dream Gender: Female Age: Adult Mare Species: Unicorn Pelt Color: Yellowy chartreuse Mane/Tail Color & Style: Curly tan mane and tail with a stripe of pale yellow. She also wears a tropical flower tucked behind her ear. Eye Color: Bright Orange Cutie Mark: A thick slice of keylime pie with whipped cream on top Physique: Average build, a little shorter than most ponies Residence: A cute tropical themed hut (Which is also her store) on the edge of the marketplace in Coralwood Corral. It's called the Tutti Fruity Cafe. Occupation: Keylime makes various sweets, drinks and cakes made from exotic fruits found on the island Motivation: Keylime Dream got her cutie mark when she perfected her own secret recipe for the perfect keylime pie, the Dreamy Key. It was a secret that had been passed down through her family, and it gets better with every new generation. Likes: Gardening, baking, sweets, hot weather Dislikes: Winter weather, snooty ponies, showoffs Character Summary: Keylime spends a lot of her days in her shop making delicious sweets to sell to the vacationers that come to Coralwood Corral. Keylime has a pet iguana named Anne Bonny. She is usually seen hanging around in the shop, and is very friendly towards customers. Anne Bonny wears a cute red collar around her neck. Keylime is generally a very friendly pony, and enjoys the company of others. One of her favorite pastimes when she's not working is to read. She loves stories of far off adventures and pirates. She doesn't work too well with ponies who are stuck up and snooty, so this causes issues sometimes with certain customers considering a lot of spoiled rich ponies visit the island for vacations. Keylime handles herself well when under stress though. She's used to crowds from living on Gallopocous Island her whole life, and when it gets busy in the shop, she's able to keep herself calm. 16. What if Derpy was her mom as well... That alone will warp Space and time. Oh, but we already have a fan pairing of this! And they have had a child named Dinky Hooves!
  17. Yeah, I've been following Al-Jazeera since the quake in Haiti! They have had the best coverage on everything. To Derpy: Oh my gosh that is crazy! I was so nervous going to sleep last night/this morning because I wasn't able to get a hold of my old middle school friend who is studying in Japan through an exchange program. Thank you for that link! Although I don't know what good it will do for me, she's not registered as a citizen of Japan.
  18. Donations to Red Cross! The Red Cross is accepting donations to help with rescue efforts in Japan and other countries! By texting the word REDCROSS to the number 90999, a confirmation text will be sent back, asking if you would like to donate $10 to the Red Cross. All the proceeds to this number will be helping efforts in Japan. The $10 will be added to your next cell phone bill. It's super easy, and takes only a few minutes! If you don't have the money (Or liberty) to donate, please help to spread the word! I was just about to head off to bed when I got a ton of Twitter, Facebook and RSS feeds about a massive new earthquake that just took place right off the coast of Japan! It's looking like they're measuring the new quake at 8.9 (Which is incredibly powerful and dangerous for those who don't know how earthquakes are measured. This rating is beyond the damage counter of an F-5 tornado, mostly due to the much wider range that can be affected. This is also a very shallow quake, with the epicenter at hardly 25 kilometers deep! The shallower the earthquake, the higher the damage totals will be...) If you're interested in seeing the live coverage, Al Jazeera is hosting a live feed in English of what's going on. http://www.livestation.com/channels/3-a ... sh-english Or if the main site is getting bogged down with viewers: http://www.youtube.com/aljazeeraenglish (Scroll down to the middle of the page for the live coverage) If you know someone that lives there, contact is going to be very troublesome, but it sounds like some places still have internet access. Please, keep Japan in your prayers tonight folks! UPDATE: 2:15am (USA Eastern Standard Time) Waves are now smashing into the coast and many buildings in downtown Tokyo are on fire. People are trapped in high rises and the entire train transport system has been grounded to a halt. UPDATE: 2:41am (USA Eastern Standard Time) Now getting reports in about one death so far as a result from this earthquake. A woman in Ibaraki(?) was killed under a house collapse. No news on her name or family, but please keep whatever family she may have had in your prayers. Also just heard about a graduation ceremony where ~200 students were caught under another roof collapse. Lot's of injuries, please pray for these grads! UPDATE: 2:52am (USA Eastern Standard Time) Tsunami watches and warnings are springing up all over the Pacific. 53 countries and territories in all so far! If you know anyone asleep on the west coast, or maybe in Hawaii, Guam and the Philippines, please make sure they are safe and well aware of the warnings! UPDATE: 3:34am (USA Eastern Standard Time) 8 deaths are confirmed, and this number is certain to rise... This is the single largest earthquake in Japan's history over the past 300 years! This is far beyond the size of the Kobe earthquake back in '95. Reports in Kamaishi are saying the tsunami smashed boats and cars into buildings and bridges. Even folks in Bejing, China could feel the quake, and they're over 2000 miles away from the earthquakes epicenter! People on the west coast of the USA are expected to feel the effects of the tsunami from this earthquake between 7-8am (USA Pacific Time) An oil refinery in Ichihara has been on fire for several hours now and completely out of control. Lots of footage coming in of sludge, debris and even flaming debris floating on the waves farther inland. All coastline communities in Hawaii are being evacuated to light of the tsunami alerts. UPDATE: 3:39am (USA Eastern Standard Time) Alright everypony, I really need to get to bed. If anyone gets any other updates on the situation, please post them here! World news is an incredibly important part of our lives, and history is made every day! Do your part to keep as many people updated! Goodnight, and I'll be back on this in the morning! Please pray for Japan, Russia, and all of the other surrounding areas! UPDATE: 3:22pm March 11 (USA Eastern Standard Time) Whoo, looks like I slept in a little later than usual! I've got news spilling from my ears, my RSS news feeds, TweetDeck and Facebook are overloaded with lots of new reports from Japan, and all the other coastal areas in the pacific. It looks like Al-Jazeera has looped back to the riots in the middle-east alongside showing tsunami images and news. US President Barack Obama has offered his condolences to Japan and the victims, and is going to send as much help as the USA can spare. Lots of footage of massive walls of water simply devouring small villages and towns. 200-300 unidentified bodies have been found in the Northeast provinces of Japan. 30 International search and rescue squads have been sent to Japan to help with person recovery and first aid. Naoto Kan (Japanese Prime Minister) has set up a massive service center for immediate emergency response. He asks the people of Japan to remain calm. According to both the news and a few friends of mine in Japan, the transport system in Tokyo is still at a standstill. Tokyo is a city where nearly 80% of the transport system relies on trains both above and underground. Pressure in the reaction chambers of a nuclear power plant in the Fukoshima are continuing to rise in the wake of this disaster. Hillary Clinton revealed that the US has flown in reactor coolant to help prevent a nuclear fallout. Al-Jazeera has put up images of the tsunami and the damages, including some incredible shots of the wave itself and the whirlpools it left behind. http://english.aljazeera.net/photo_gall ... 96179.html As of 5:00am (Japan) - The death toll from the earthquake and subsequent tsunami is expected to reach at least 1,000. The Red Cross has opened text lines and donation pools to help send aid to Japan. http://american.redcross.org/site/PageS ... _text2help By texting REDCROSS to 90999, you can donate $10 to the Red Cross and the money will show up on your next cell phone bill. UPDATE: 5:18pm March 11 (USA Eastern Standard Time) News coming out of Japan is starting to slow down, but the headlines are getting more serious. The area around the Fukoshima Daiichi nuclear power plant has been evacuated after a confirmed radiation leak. Radiation levels in the control core are now at 1000 times higher than normal! Even with the coolant shipment from the US and other allies of Japan, the reactor is reaching incredibly dangerous radiation levels, and there is a moderate threat for a nuclear fallout due to this event. And yet despite the massive event that has struck the region, many workers are still going about their normal lives to the best of their abilities. Here's an interesting Livejournal post from someone I follow: http://denkimouse.livejournal.com/1222512.html Even the Japanese Yakuza (Basically, the Japanese mafia/mob. Organized crime.) have opened their doors to anyone in need of shelter and food! UPDATE: 6:12pm (USA Eastern Standard Time) Just got word from a friend that Volcano Sakurajima in the southern tip of Japan has erupted due to the ongoing aftershocks! You can see footage of the amazing explosion here: This stratovolcano if famous for it's ash eruption way back in 1914, which left the area it's closest to covered in ash! Let's hope this doesn't happen again soon! Kesennuma city of Miyagi Prefecture with a population of 74,000, is nearly entirely on fire with a third of the city submerged in water. ~3000 people have now been evacuated from the area around the Fukoshima Daiichi power plant due to radioactive vapors being released as a result of intense pressure in the reaction core. I also have a link to video of a man out-driving the massive tsunami! The shakiness being shown through this camera is NOT from bumps in the road, but from the road itself shaking!
  19. I see that Applejack has no number, and Rainbow Dash's front right leg should be BEHIND her back right leg. At least, that's if we want to get super technical about how a horse/pony runs.
  20. So jelly of my boyfriend! He's going to be in Boston this weekend looking for apartments, and said he might be going!
  21. I won't be going to Furnal Equinox, but I'm hoping to get to Anthrocon and Midwest Furfest.
  22. This episode was so precious! I loved the dancing/singing number they did! Too awesome! I'm really glad that with every episode, we get to see a little more of their hidden talents. I'm hoping for a cute music note for Sweetie Belle, something crafty and apple-y like an apple with ribbons for Apple Bloom, and maybe a skateboard or helmet for Scootaloo!

    Body of water?

I love them all! I get really giddy when I'm exploring in the woods or a park and happen across a random stream or runoff. Oceans are probably my favorite though. Such an abundance of fishies, the sea spray, the current, the colors... Just LOVE it. The size doesn't scare me too much unless I'm out in a boat and can't see land anymore.
  24. Omg yes, this is a perfect comparison! I'm pretty much as furry as casually fursuiting in public places (Even if it's not a convention) but that's as far as I go. The whole fursuit sex and murry purry aspect is a bit too far off the map for me. I mean, I don't mind drawing to a more adult theme, just as long as it STAYS a fantasy.
  25. While that IS true, I still receive bad attention every now and then when I tell people that. :\
