  1. Dunder

    Ohi people.

A brony before actually knowing you were a brony? Nicee XD Actually that's the first time I've heard of that happening. Also, I can help with roleplay stuff, if you;re interested :3 Welcome to Canterlot, man!
  2. "Wherever you want to go Storm. I'm just here because you guys are letting me." Dunder said with a smile. He already felt unwelcomed as it was, and he knew he had no place to lead them. He looked down at Ink. He knew he couldn't do anything effectively as Storm. He whispered in her ear soft enough that it was almost inaudible at such short range, "Do something." He said.
  3. "How else are we supposed to start a fire?" Dunder asked. "We could just not start a fire." He suggested. It seemed like it was going to be too much trouble to start a fire. After the failed flint search, he wasn't sure anymore.
  4. [slightly taller? Dunder is taller than an average pony XD] "So.... you are saying adventure is available... but adventure is not really available?" Dunder asked. He turned his head, confused. He wondered if this pony had been pulling his leg.
  5. Dunder listened to Midnight's skill set. She was an ex-Royal Equestrian Army soldier. She was fully trained, probably physically conditioned, and trained to use a standard longsword and spear. Maybe he was rivaled in use of blades, her cutie mark had a sword as well as his. Although, he wasn't sure how extensive her training was. This, of course, was not a bad thing. Not only was she a soldier, but a leader of her own platoon. He knew he could turn to her for advice... but he hoped not to. He couldn't help but feel jealous that her career in the REA was much more successful than his.... but he knew that something had made her as rigid as she was... maybe she would reveal later. Dunder turned to Muggo when he spoke. "Well.... I wasn't really trying to put my name out when I got hired. The researcher just called me over from across the tavern, told me he'd pay me if I followed his instructions. So I accepted. I guess It would be good if I just survived off of this, it'd be much more exciting than being a chef." Dunder said and thought about it. "But.... I know I wouldn't want to go alone... This team looks good... Except you need to run a pub and Midnight probably has better things to do than risk her life with me. Winter and Dusty, I don't know." Suddenly, Dunder remembered about the two ponies. He looked back to see them lagging behind. "Hey! Get over here. We need to stick together." He called back to them, not loud to yell, but loud to be heard. "Fly while reading it, or something. I already know where to go, hardly anything to do last night other than stare at the map to make sure I'd be knowing what I was doing." Dunder called.
  6. Dunder heard the pony cry out a call for adventure. This was definitely something that Dunder would be interested... even more so if payment was in order. Dunder almost instantly trotted up to the pony who just cried out the request. "I can definitely join." He said with a smile. "I already know what I'm doing when it comes to adventuring and I'm more than capable of defending myself." He said.
  7. "Too bad there are no unicorns here... this would be a lot easier if they had a spell to help us. Even if they could make light." Dunder said as he crouched down. He started to sift through the gravel slowly in the dim light. "curse this cave! There is like no light!" Dunder said as he sifted through the gravel with his hoof.
  8. Welcome to Canterlot
  9. Dunder watched them blind and give Ice Storm a tail to pin on the poster. He started to chuckle as he watched his friend. He couldn't wait to see how she would react to such a foreign game.
  10. Dunder Blust was standing nearby. He was trotting along slowly as he looked through the glass of the shops. His rapier scabbard ways lightly as he slowly trotted along. This colt was attracting a lot of attention by the way he was active criticism of the items in the stores. He was getting on Dunder's nerves too. He could tell he was from of the richer cities. He was also a colt so he couldn't tell him to calm down unless he wanted the guards after him.
  11. This is probably your best one so far!

  17. "Sure. I don't see any harm." Dunder said as he pulled off his saddlebag. He opened it and carefully pulled out an old, wrinkled, discolored piece of paper with an ink sketch of of some sort of small building on what appeared to be a plain. "He said that he found the map in some sort of shrine like thing. Found it in a box with some flowers." Dunder pulled out another map, this one was much newer with drawings of the area. "This was also courtesy of the researcher. It also shows where he searched for that entrance to the ruin, and where he suggests we look." Dunder said as he pointed to the notes saying where he looked and arrow that said "here." Dunder stopped walking and looked back at Midnight when she asked what the skills of the group were. He looked down at the ground and zoned out while eh thought. He knew that Muggo and Winter were going to be useful ponies. Dusty looked like he knew what he was doing, or at least what he was going to be doing. Midnight seemed like she was strong and would be a good fighter. Although, he thought they wouldn't need fighting skills. He listened to Muggo' as he explained his skills. Dunder laughed and nodded when Muggo' recalled their experiences with the manticore. "Yep, we showed him not to mess with us!" He said and chuckled. With his stories, Dunder was more convinced Muggo' would be of good use. Dunder then looked at Winter. He always seemed like more of a lean pony than a muscular one. He knew that Winter could be of use with his fast flying. Not sure how, but he knew he would be of use. "As for me, I am a master rapier fencer. I've never really had to lead an operation like this..." Dunder said, awkwardly admitting his lack of experience with leadership "but, that shouldn't be a problem. This should be a calm job." Dunder said. The researcher had told him there was nothing to worry about, but Dunder could tell something was wrong... all he could do was hope that his gut was wrong. "What about you, Dusty and Midnight? What do you do well?" He asked them, wanting to get off the subject of danger.

    Hiya.

Cool! I love animals and computers and cartoons too XD Well, I guess it's hard not to like those things. And welcome to Canterlot!
  19. [When are they going to find flint?] Dunder nodded then realized that it was too dark for them to see his nod, so he spoke instead ."Well, if you say so. You seem to know more about finding flint than me, so I'll take your word for it." Dunder said as he rejoined them. He figured going his own way wouldn't be of much use. Anyway, staying together was a good idea.
  20. Your friends converted an entire forum to bronies? They deserve a medal! Welcome to canterlot
  21. Dunder noticed that the Gala was filling up rather quickly. It almost seemed like the constant stream of new arrivals wasn't going to end. He hoped that with the unexpected arrival of Ice Storm, another one of his friends would arrive. Maybe a stallion friend, since he knew that mares were much harder to talk to than stallions. Except Ice Storm... the only mare that he found easy to talk to and he was definitely grateful for it. "It is?" Dunder asked. He felt dumb now. He knew he needed to make it so that he didn't look like an idiot. "Well... It's just that..." Think, Dunder, think! "You look so pretty in the dress... that I didn't remember that you wore it to the party." Dunder said and gave a quick, hasty smile. Nice work... He thought. He knew he should probably change the subject again. "I'm going to get some more punch.... Do you want any? I could get you some. Might as well since I'm going to get up anyway." He said before chuckling.
  22. Dunder looked back at them near the river. Before he went back, he thought this question was appropriate. "Are we even sure if you do need to find gravel in order to find Flint? And are you even sure that gravel is found near water?" He called through the cave. His voice echoed.
  23. "I can't see my hoof in front of my face.... but I will try..." Dunder said as he trotted off. He could still hear the hoof and foot steps, he knew he just couldn't let them wander off too far without him and he'd be okay.
