  1. May my newborn foal Boombox participate or is he too young? He is Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake's age.
  2. Hello everypony ! I come through this topic call all you artist ponies out there to help me out in a very special piece. I would like to make a Queen Chrysalis tattoo on my arm, next to my zombie girl one (I'm going to make a sleeve on my left arm only with zombie characters) but I can't really find the perfect picture. I've been and will be filled with work from school, and so I don't have that muh time in such a piece, so I would come to ask for a Queen hrysalis piece with her flying and surrounded by her green magic/smoke so that I could get some ideas. Anypony out there who could help me out?
  3. Hmm am I wrong or I have already seen this pony heart base on deviantart? ...
  4. The mare couldn't help but to look at the sweet little foal right in front of her cell. In her mind she could just imagine if that was her son Boombox, how she would be feeling. Well terrible of course! She was glad that Boombox was right there next to her, swirming softly in her arms as he nursed from his own bottle. She then had an idea, that could probably calm the little foal down. "Could you please let that poor little foal come to my cell?", she asked looking at the guards, and then looking back at the foal that had been singing, "I can keep him quiet.", and still looking at him, she smiled tenderly.
  5. Wind Mist listened to all the words that Palétte pronounced, and then turned back to Deep Bass. "That is quite right. I keep increasing the number of pieces in my collection, specially in the pottery section. But I had to come and check on some paintings here and then as well.", she then said, letting out a giggle beneath her light pink veil.
  6. Wind Mist moved her baby to the side, still holding him in her wing, and rocking him gently as she got ready to eat. "Everything smells so nice!", she said, looking around the table and feeling like she should try everything that was so tenderly prepared with love.
  7. Roleplay Type: Mane Name: Bull Buck (goes by Buck) Sex: Male Age: Colt Species: Earth Pony Eye Color: Green Coat Color: Dark brown, almost red. Beige stockings and muzzle Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Short trimmed mane, almost like a short mohawk. Tail is half braided half straightly loose. Both are black. Physique: Tall and well built (like a Clydesdale but shorter) Cutie Mark: A silver bull head: Origin/Residence: Near Appleloosa, in his family ranch Occupation: Cattle herder, and plays chase with animals in his free time Motivation: His motivation is to keep his cattle always in the right place and feeling happy, because all of his cows and bulls are his life. Racing after them also motivates him to increase his resistence and speed. Likes: Cattle (specially wild bulls), animals, the western life, the country side, galloping, long and lazy sunsets Dislikes: City life, snobby ponies, pollution Character Summary History: Buck was born in a ranch near what is now Appleloosa, in his family ranch that would in the future be his after so many generations. He would always find a friendly face nearby, and his parents would always let him roam free either to let him explore and to allow him to get his cutie mark. They both knew that if there was any danger, everypony would protect everypony and their young son would be safe and sound. But Buck's passion had been, of course, challenging the cattle. Ever since his father had invited the first pair to create more cows and allow more to attend the ranch, Buck's routine had changed so that he could greet them every morning. He could spend his days chasing them and then running away from them when they had enough and just wanted to teach him how to fly as high as possible ... But Buck didn't care with the number of bruises he got, or how many ows and bulls he had angered that day. He knew they loved him, and he surely loved them. Parents: Bull Buck's parents find happiness in the life they take. Only Buck's dad work, manely in the production of wine and other drinks that come from the fruit trees surrounding Appleloosa. With the treats his father sometimes brings home and because of their cattle, Buck's mother often makes amazing dinners and sweets for the whole family. Buck's mother doesn't actually work, but when she has some free time, she attends the saloons to sing in her beautiful voice preserved over the years. Cutie Mark Story: Bull Buck's cutie mark is obviously a shiny silver bull's head. In the day he got it, he could already feel that that day wouldn't be like all the others, and that something was wrong. During the thunderstorm that filled the afternoon, one of the fences was hit and the cattle just fled in panic. Of course that his parents feared for his life, but they didn't even complain when Bull Buck left the house in the fastest gallop he had ever tried. In the same pace of gallop he used to use when he chased those cows and bulls, he started circling them and leading them back to their pen. His father had come out to help him, thinking he wouldn't make it. But the truth was, those cows didn't really care about what the one that had brought them to that house had to say or order ... Buck kept galloping right behind them, making sure not a single one was left behind, and finally bucked a log down to keep the cattle safe until the storm was over and they could repair the fence. And it was right when Bull Buck sighed in relief that his father pointed at his flank, where his silver bull head cutie mark was now. From that day on, Buck knew his place was near his beloved cattle, taking care of them and making sure nothing bad would happen to them. Flaws: Even though Bull Buck is a very gentle pony, when it comes to competition he might be a little bit fierce and end up forgetting about the rest. Many of his friends had fights with him exactly because of that, since he loses control of the adrenaline he receives when he's doing something he loves. That seems to be his only flaw, because due to his body built he finds himself in the obligation of being as strong as his body shows. That is a point he still has to work on. Personality: Bull Buck is a very active pony, that never sees the dark side of situations. He can be the one starting a conversation even when he meets a new group of friends, and talks even more if somepony approaches him. He tries to never show his failures, if he ever believes to have any, because his pride doesn't allow so. But he is not full of himself at all, and loves to be kind to everypony showing the hospitality of the good people of Appleloosa. He trusts in his own believes, and when somepony doesn't follow his example, he doesn't care at all, and doesn't stop believing himself as a strong willed stallion. His weakness are mares, since he tends to "melt" when trying to be kind to them, as he learned to always be extremely nice to a lady.
  8. The mare finally managed to have a seat after laughing a little bit with the two mares, and took her son out of his carrier to hold him in her arms. "So, you are from distant lands you two?", she asked, looking from Silver Note to Bowie.
  9. The mare put her saddlebags down and then picked her sleepy foal up with her left wing, rocking him gently. With her free hooves, she opened her saddlebags and took a bottle that still had warm milk inside, since she had asked a unicorn to heat it for her. She gently woke her foal up and lead the bottle to his mouth, rocking him gently as he fed. She then caught sight of a small pony in the cell right in front of her, and her heart dropped. It was just a little foal, older than her own of course, but still it made her feel extremely sad. She just hoped the guards would notice such a mistake ...
  10. The mare bowed as well before she entered the cozy house, feeling the nice scent of food filling her nostrils. Boombox had dozzed off in their way there, so right now his fever seemed to be lower than before. She headed to the next room, finding mother and daugter having a chat. "You must be Doctor Golden Heart's wife and his daughter, right?", she said, and then approached them both even more. "My name is Wind Mist, and this is my son Boombox."
  11. Wind Mist headed towards the two stallions that were now having a conversation about the paintings, and she approached the stallion with glasses. "I'm amazed about your painting examination skills! Not even I could reach such conclusions.", she said with a wide smile, and then she stretched her hoof at him. "Wind Mist. Pleasure to meet you."
  12. The mare let aother tear roll down his eye, and then got ready to tell her story. "I am an old art collector, and I found a beautiful golden pot in one of the streets of Canterlot. I thought it had no owner, but after all it did, and he didn't accept my bits for that amazing piece, so when he called for the guards and they took me away, without even asking what was the problem.", she said, lowering her head once she said the last few words. She knew that it wasn't supposed to happen with the Canterlot guards, but still she had felt her heart drop when she was dragged to that dark cell with her son. She then lifted her head when the female guard brought her her saddlebags, and tried to make a smile be born on her muzzle. "Thank you so much about my saddlebags, Miss!", she said, picking them up slowly with her mouth.
  13. Wind Mist turned to the pair of ponies that were about to leave, and she blushed heavily. "Excuse me, but would you mind if I went along with you? I have a gift for Doctor Golden Heart for what he did to me, and I have to thank him.", she said.
  14. Wind Mist took a step forward, allowing herself to participate in that improvised class given by Palétte. She knew he was maybe being a little bit too harsh, but only that way young ponies would understand the true meaning of art. She stood in front of the painging, tilting her head to the sides for several times, and even shading her sight with her wide pegasus wings. After a few long minutes, she had heard the students mumble among each other, like hey had done with Palétte himself when he looked at his painting. But this time, she heard giggles as well, as if she was making something really funny. Maybe she was, but over the years that had been the way she had learned to appreciate art pieces. She finally turned to the artist. "Well, I am no specialist, but in this painting I see the contrast between the cold colors -blue for example- and the warm colors -red and orange for example. But the presence of purple, which is almost a neutral color, makes me see that there is some sort of conciliation that Mr. Palétte tried to find between cold and warm colors in order to keep the painting neutral in some areas. The base, hmmm ... makes me think about fire, but a fire that is not so intense after all, since the strokes are fading because of the blue.", she explained, looking at their frightened little faces.
  15. Wind Mist was still amazed at how Pinkie Pie had managed to know that there was something about to fall right over her new friend's head. However, she had a short time to think about that, because young Boombox opened his mouth and let out a long cry of fear from what had just happened. He held his peppermint stick tightly in one of his hooves, yet his tears didn't stop rolling down his tiny little cheeks. Wind Mist turned her head around to face him right away, and calmed him down by rubbing her head against his own. "There there, it's over now, sweetie. Mommy's here."
  16. The mare smiled widely, and nodded at him. "I would be glad to watch.", she said, looking at the large group of ponies. She wondered how would it be to keep so many minds focused on her, specially if she was talking about a particularly deep subject. But if the subject was that interesting, why not?
  17. ((Sorry about the delay everypony)) Wind Mist had been staring at Pinkie Pie the whole entire time she had been talking, her brows raising and a few giggles leaving her mouth. "Oh that sure is silly, Pinkie. Unicorns in the sea is quite a sight.", she said, letting out a laugh. When Pinkie handed her her muffin, she picked it up and gave small and delicate bites. She then turned to Newsworthy and sighed, still with a smile on her face. "I'm sure you will. But don't make the same mistake I did, you really have to make sure that it is your special somepony.", she said, with thoughts and memories running even through her eyes. Boombox kept suckling on the peppermint stick, his eyes showing a huge joy.
  18. The mare got up slowly when she was told to be quiet, looking sadly through the cell's bars. She didn't even need to say anything: her eyes said it all, and she just held her tears because nopony that had kept her incarcerated like that deserved to see her tears and a sign of defeat. She just couldn't show what truly was going through her mind and heart, specially because of her baby son that was still asleep on her side baby carrier. "Excuse me miss ... But could you please tell me what is going to happen to us? I need to feed my baby and they took my saddlebag away ...", she said, not managing to hold a tear that fell down from her already watery eyes.
  19. The little foal looked up, the treat definitely calling for his attention. He strethed his little arm and reached for it, returning to his cuddling moment in his carrier and suckling on the peppermint stick. "Thank you, Pinkie.", Wind Mist said, "Yes, he is. With a few spoons of medicine and good naps, he will soon be up in his hooves again."
