  1. ~~~Ice Storm~~~ Ice Storm started following Myth as she started to sniff around for lunch. There were a lot of good smells that were floating around the streets of Las Pegasus right now, as there were several stalls that were competing not only against each other, but the big chain restaurants inside the casinos as well. She wasn't exactly sure where they were going until everything started to move briefly in slow motion. Myth was about to run into the cart! How could Icy had been so foolish to let Myth get so far out in front of her. She tried to stop, but the resounding ow that she heard from Myth made her ears droop. "Myth, I'm so sorry, I should have been paying more attention..." Icy said in appology to the mare before turning to the cook who had greeted them. When he told her that he was trying a new recipe, and the first bit was on the house Ice Storm nodded. "I think that honor should go to my friend here, whom I accidentally let walk right into you stall. I'm super sorry about that as well. IF anything is damages, I'll take care of it," she added with a smile.
  2. ~~~Aloe Blossom~~~ Aloe watched as Rose made the three dimentional map for them to see. It was quite something to see really, and it really did a lot to help where they would need to get to. The only problem would be the fact that the forest was constantly shifting. Or was it actually...? Now that she actually thought about it, she wondered if it was less the forest shifting and paths getting over grown. Froggy Bottom bog was in the same spot it's always been. As well as the castle of the two sisters, and the tree of harmony, and Zecora's hut... Honestly she was starting to think that the forest didn't shift as often as ponies said it did. She knew very much that it was a magical forest, and that it was the tree of harmony that kept it from becoming wild. If it wasn't for that the forest probably would be shifting constantly. She further listened as Rose explained what the mission was and how she planned on tranquilizing the beast. She further said that if that failed, then they would have to find an alternative means. Aloe would chime in at this. "I have actually prepared a mint-capsaicin bomb for it as well. It works best if we can get it to eat it, but even if it breaths in the vapors or the salve comes in contact with it's body it should over stimulate it enough to incapacitate it, hopefully for long enough for us to get what we need and be gone. Outside of that, should we need a plan C, that will have to be up to somepony else," Aloe said before she heard a yell from the distance and another pegasus would land on the deck of the ship. How could she have let this happen! Venture Heart knew that she shouldn't have had that second hay-bacon omelet from the cafe in town, but they were so good! Way better than the berries and survival food she normally ate. However, in her desire to splurge a bit on herself she was now fashionably late for the very reason she was here in Ponyville to begin with! She had gotten word that a pony was leading an expedition into the Everfree Forest in search of a dangerous hydra. While she wasn't an expert on the Everfree Forest, or Hydras for that matter, she was an expert at navigation, exploration, and being prepared. She flapped her wings as hard as she could to try try to catch up to the airship before it started taking off. "Good, I'm not too late!" she said to herself excitedly as she saw the ship still not yet moving. As she got closer, Venture could see that the ponies looked to be gathered on the decks and one of them seemed to be addressing the others, no doubt giving them the basic idea of the plan that she had. "Dang it, now I'm going to be that pony that's going to make them go over everything again when I get there," she said to herself. With any luck she'd be able to pull the leader of this shindig off to the side and figure out the basic idea from there. Sure, Venture knew that they were going after a Hydra, but she didn't know why, or what the plan was for dealing with it. As she started to get within shouting range she let her voice bellow into the sky. "WAIT FOR MEEE!!!" she yelled before diving down and landing on the deck with a skid before careening into a banister, getting her head stuck in one of those life-saver thingies and then tumbling the last bit before landing in front of the group. Her eyes were spinning a bit before she shook her head a bit. "I'm Fine! Sorry! Sorry!" She said before noticing the stuck ring. Using all four of her hooves she managed to pop the life ring off of her neck and it went flying overboard, making her rub the back of her head a bit. "Oops... Sorry about that too. I guess I was going a bit too fast for landing. I would have been here much sooner but... I was really hungry... Anyway, The name's Venture Heart. If there's a dangerous adventure to be had, I'm there. Somepony said something about going after a Hydra in this flier?" she said looking around before her eyes settled on the one that she saw talking before.
  3. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~ Wind Dancer shook her head when the mare in front of her said that she hadn't done anything to earn such a gift so she wouldn't feel comfortable accepting it. "Nonsense! You don't have to do amazing things or have to be all fancy for gifts! And you certainly don't have to be any of that in order to be my friend. I for one think you're perfect the way you are, and I won't take no for an answer, on the backstage passes anyway. Besides, they are only five bits more than the tickets themselves. I don't really like charging for others to see me, but I know the casinos have to pay the ponies watching the event as well. In fact, most of the backstage bits go to the security," she said with a smile. When she heard that Cloud would be willing to make the clouds, but didn't think that she would want to be responsible for shaping them, Windy clopped her hooves. "Oh! That's perfect! Cause you see! I actually shape the clouds with my winds for most of my effects, but it's really hard and taxing tiring my routine to make clouds and produce enough winds to make them do what I want. Having a pony already making the clouds so that I can shape them is perfect!" Wind Dancer cheered, her salad, and Cloudy's Jambalaya were brought to the table. She then heard Cloud say that everything sounded awful, and that she was sorry that she had gone through that, but that she was also impressed with the pony that she'd become as a result! She added that it was very little surprise that ponies were inspired by her and looked up to her like they did. "I know... and continuing to be that inspiration and providing that beacon of hope is everything for me. I love seeing other ponies overcome whatever obstacles may be presented to them and move on to live the happiest life a pony can ask for, and I do everything I can to make sure that happens," she said wrapping her primaries around a fork and biting into one of the juicy mini tomatoes.
  4. ~~~Aloe Blossom~~~ "It wouldn't be a second Spa so to say... more like an expansion! I can't move the day spa, but I can offer different services at both locations. Althought that does lead to the issue of ponies going to the wrong spa for the wrong treatment... That wouldn't do well for business, nor would the wrong supplies getting sent to the wrong one... Things for us to think about later," Aloe said as Rose started to paint her a figurative picture. First one of their literally be two of her roaming around Ponyville. Her eye twitched a bit when she heard that and immediately shook her head. "N...no thanks. While I'm certain that you are far more precise than your work than the mirror pool is, I couldn't possibly imagine having clones after myself after seeing the horror that a tornado of Pinkie Pies brought to Ponyville. One Pinkie Pie is fun, and a bit over excitable at times, but tolerable and she always tries to make everypony smile. Now, imagine that, times a hundred..." Aloe said shuddering again. Rose then continued, talking about the moral aspects of restoring sight, especially to a pony that's never had it. "I can see the concern, but the risk of reward in that would drastically outweigh the possible setback. Give a pony a chance to see the world in a way that they were never able to before is like the gift of gifts! The only time something like that would cause a morality issue is if the pony doesn't want to be able to see and you do it anyway. Then you're technically forcing that pony to be like everypony else rather than letting them be okay with who they are. But if we can make a cure for blindness, and give it to the ponies that actually want to be able to see again, or at all, then I personally have no problems with doing that! In fact, I kind of want to do that more now than ever!" she said to Rose, getting excited about the prospect of curing blindness. IT was just a vague example, but if alchemy could do that then she wanted to be all about it!
  5. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~Morning Dew~~~ Wind Dancer smiled as the colt sounded eager to join. This was going to be so much fun. Her attention turned to the sky though as she heard the announcer call out the final racer had finished and was making their introductions. "I do believe that's my cue. I better go check with Sky and get ready. You should go and meet up on the clouds of the arena with the rest of your friends. We'll be starting soon!" Wind Dancer said to the colt as her parents made their way over as she took off to go over to where Sky was setting up. "Hey Sky! I had a couple ideas for the show! Well, actually just two. Do you have enough effects to do your Hello Seaddle Remix? I don't know when we're going to get to do our festival that we wanted, and something new and powerful like that I'd like to debut in front of our parents. You know, make this moment as special as the ponies that brought us here are," she said winking a bit to Sky's father. "The other is that the first two songs we do completely improv on the spot. I'm really hoping that you still have those duck sounds loaded. I have so many ideas that I think will let the fillies and colts that will be joining have so much fun! Although if we do Hello Seaddle, they will have to be off of the main cloud floor before we start it. We don't want anypony getting hurt," she said with a smile. "The only thing that would make this better would be if I had a duck costume! but I think it would be a bit short notice to get something like that, that would still fit." Morning Dew however, remained back with Scarlet, Water Wing, and the parents of Skip. She smiled as she watched Wind Dancer fly over to sky and start talking before she started speaking herself. "You know, you've got a nice little one here that reminds me a lot of how Windy used to be herself, and it's good to see that she's grown up keeping her head out of the clouds so to say, and Sky as well. Skip looks like he has a strong heart just like they do. Don't let anypony take that away from him," she smiled to Skips father, moving to the stands once again. If there was one thing that she remembered from Windy's letters, she did not want to get stuck in one of her performances and she'd have something up her hoof.
  6. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Venture Heart Gender: Female Age: Young Mare Species: Pegasus Eye colour: Light Emerald Green Coat: Creamy Tan Mane/Tail: Venture Heart’s mane and tail are both pretty well kept for what she does for a living. She generally keeps her mane in her hat when she’s exploring ruins to keep it from getting caught on things, but when she’s not wearing it up, she keeps it fairly straight with a bit of waviness to it. Her tail is also kept up fairly well and is more wavy in nature. Her main and tail are also both two-tone in nature with Olive Green being the primary color with a single wide stripe of forest green Physique: Venture Heart is in prime physical condition, and has to keep herself as such to be able to continue on her adventures. If she was going to follow in the hooves of the Legendary Adventurer Daring Do, then she would have to make sure that she was at one-hundred percent every time she took to the field. She was Strong, Lithe, Fast, and sometimes a might bit overconfident, which gets her into trouble more times than not. Residence: Venture Heart was born in Somnambula, but she can be found literally anywhere in Equestria at any point in time. Occupation: Archeologist/Exploration Pony Cutie Mark: Unique Traits: Lucky: If there was an Element of Harmony for Luck, Venture Heart would be the epitome of it. No matter the situation she ends up getting herself into, usually by being over-cocky, she manages to figure out the one and only possible means of escape, usually right before falling to certain doom. Whether it’s escaping a collapsing temple, a room filling with various deadly elements, or getting captured by her rivals, she always stumbles onto the one lever, button, or pressure plate that reveals the way out. Living Compass: Having been an adventuring pony all of her life, Venture Heart knows how to navigate most of Equestria. All she needs to be able to do so is a clear view of the sky and she can figure out where they need to go to get out of where they are at. Trapfinder: You don’t grow up hunting around old temples without getting good at finding, avoiding, and sometimes disarming traps. Overconfident: Flaw. Venture Heart legitimately believes that there is no circumstance that she can’t overcome. This comes from her being obscenely lucky, and she will press forward even into almost suicidal conditions unless somepony else actually manages to stop her and remind her that eventually her luck is going to run out and she’s not going to come back from one of these adventures History: Venture Heart was born in the Southern Equestrian village of Somnambula. She is the daughter of Amunset and Rumenka, and she was always getting into trouble from the moment that she could move. She would always find her way into precarious situations that often left her parents to wonder how in Equestria she had gotten there. Sure she was a pegasus, but that still couldn’t explain how a foal could figure out how to undo all the locks they had gotten for their cabinets… pantries… closets… anything that she could get to she went into. She had even managed to figure out how to open foal-proof locks. A feat that both impressed and horrified her mother, and eventually led to the foal-proof locks becoming the nearly foal-proof locks. But that was what Venture loved to do. She loved to explore things and find out why things worked the way that they did. She was never satisfied because, and she knew there was always a story behind everything. She knew there were stories hiding in Equestria that had never been told before, and she was going to be the pony that found them if it was the last thing that she did. It was then that she discovered something. While she was at the school library, she came across a series of books, and the picture of the first one immediately drew her in. It looked like a pony swinging over a river of crocodiles. She started reading it and instantly she was hooked, and almost immediately Daring Do had become the one pony that she looked up to more than anypony else in Equestria and she wanted to be exactly like her. To the point where that was all she talked about was the adventures that the famous adventuring pony had been on. Eventually other ponies got tired of hearing about them so she started looking for other ways to entertain herself. She actually got her cutie mark from one of these adventures that she had gone on when she overheard somepony say that they had lost their sacred glow topaz necklace near the oasis. Firstly she wondered why somepony would wear something so valuable out by the oasis lake to begin with, but then got an idea. She told the ponies that she would retrieve the missing necklace for them, in exchange for letting her borrow their map so that she could get to Oasis to try to find it. The ponies were reluctant to let the pony try, telling her that the oasis was too dangerous for a filly like her, and that she would be lunch for the crocodiles or the snakes that would be found there. Fortunately for her, her stubbornness was stronger than their reluctance, and headed off with a warning that she would hear for ages to come. She looked to the map and then back to the sun. Once she got her barings, finding the oasis was pretty easy. Even without being there before, following the map and knowing where the sun was had helped her, and she made it there within a couple of hours. Once she was there though, was when the real test began. She had to try to navigate back through the underbrush of the oasis and try to track the hooves of the ponies that were here before. The only problem was, she didn’t think that they were the only ponies that were here, and that also didn’t account for all of the other tracks that she had found. Just when she thought that she was down on her luck she saw a glint in her eye. Of course! No Oasis was complete without a pond or a lake, and the water would be what drew everything to it! She took off into the sky and started making her way towards the water. She wasn’t fully paying attention though as she smacked a wing on the tree that she was next to during take off. She tried to lift herself up with it, but it was a bit too sore to sustain flight for very long. She rolled her eyes to herself as she found herself in almost the exact same situation as her idol. She then got the idea to start thinking like Daring Do would think in this situation. If her wing was hurt, but still usable, then saving it until she needed it would be the best course of action. Plust, the longer that was, the more chance it had to recover on its own. After all, it wasn’t like she had smacked it hard or anything. From there she kept low to the ground trying to stay below the tall vegetation, trying to use it as cover. Everything seemed to be working out fine, and she let out a smile when she saw the water in the distance. She was so happy that she had made it, that she didn’t notice the shadow encroaching over her. When she did, she turned around to see a crocodile mouth open getting ready to strike. She quickly jumped back over the lake. She was expecting a splash, but when it didn’t come she was confused. She was even more confused as to why the rock she had found was moving. Until she looked down. It wasn’t a rock, it was another crock! She had to jump back of of that one as it struck off the snout of another and almost became lunch for a third as she had to use both her front and rear hooves to keep from falling into its open maw before the force of it closing it sending her back up into the air and crashing on the small island in the center of the oasis. She stood back up on the island panting as she looked back at the hungry crocks that were closing in on her. She then saw another glint in her eye hanging from a tree. She looked a bit harder at it, and it was the Glow Topaz necklace that she came to find! She’d done it! She’d found it! Her excitement was short lived though as a crock snapped at her once again making her jump back a bit. When she did, she noticed that the crocodiles were almost piling on top of each other trying to get to her, slowing them down considerdably. She was able to move to the side of them and climb up onto their backs of sort as they all tried to turn and snap at her. She was able to jump and avoid each one, timing their movements and on the last jump she had gotten enough height that she was able to jump for the necklace. She’d managed to latch onto it with her teeth before swinging up onto the branch. With the crocks now trying to push the tree over, however, Venture knew that it was time to leave. She spread her wings a bit, and let out a small wince as the soreness was still there. She knew, however, that if she were to survive this she would have to push through it. She winced again as she took off, dropping altitude a bit and nearly becoming lunch for the second time if it weren’t for her quick reflexes. She was able to right herself and started making her way back out of the oasis. She had done it! She had lived a real life Daring Do feat of heroism! She was so happy! She landed back in the Somnambula and she gave the pony back her necklace telling her that she really needed to take better care of something so valuable. Once she handed the necklace over, there was a blinding flash around her and when it subsided, she had received her cutie mark. A parchment map folded in the shape of a heart with a red trail leading to an X. A few years later after she had finished school, Venture Heart was about to go out and make her own way in the exploration field when the legendary Daring Do herself came to Somnambula! Venture Heart was so excited! She wanted to go out and meet her and tell her how amazing that she was! Most of all though, this proved that she was a real life pony and that ponies could actually do the stuff that was in her books! Unfortunately for her, that happiness was short-lived. She saw Daring Do fighting a band of miscreants and in the process of doing so she could see cracks starting to form along the statue, and before she could say anything, the statue that was dedicated to the one pony that sacrificed everything to keep this land safe, had been destroyed… She watched on in horror as tears welled up in her eyes as the one pony that she looked up to in her life… destroyed the one thing in her life that was worth more to her than anything else the world had to offer other than her family itself. She was devastated, and worse than that, Daring Do had given her a negative reputation through the village because of the fact that she supported her! Then she left, leaving everything in shambles! About a week later she heard a robed figure saying that she was stealing all the glow topaz from the city as well, and her heart sank. How could her favorite story book legend turned real pony be so different from how she was in the books? She didn’t want to believe it. She couldn’t believe it! She was going to find Daring Do, and she was going to get answers! Fortunately she didn’t have to search very hard as this weird rainbow colored pony, a very hyperactive pink pony, and a weird cloaked pony all showed up not too long after the red robed figure did. The blue one talked about how amazing Daring Do was, and how she was protecting Somnambula from eight years of unrelenting heat. She didn’t want to burst the blue pony’s bubble, but this was a desert. Every year there was unrelenting heat. Unless of course she meant actual year round unrelenting heat. Then that might be an issue. Then the pony with the red robe dropped his hood and the two began bickering even more and she heard a name. Apparently they had known him and she watched as those mean ponies tied up the blue one and took her away. She couldn’t believe that just happened! She may not have been Daring Do herself, but she couldn’t simply set back and do nothing! She had to follow them. They went to the temple where the city had gotten its namesake from and she started to follow them in. She was about to pounce on the group herself before she realized that she couldn’t open her wings. The magic in the temple was real! Without being able to fly, one wrong step and she’d be a goner. She would need to rethink her plan of attack. When she looked outside though, she saw something fast approaching. Reinforcements? She quickly moved to find a spot to hide. What she saw though, shocked her. It was Daring Do! She was back! She was with the Pink Pony! Which meant that she had been with them all along! Oh she really wanted to give her a piece of her mind right then, but she also knew that could wait until after her friend wasn’t in trouble. Just because she was mad at the pony didn’t mean she wanted her friends to get hurt. She was a bit surprised that it was the pink pony that talked reason into the seasoned adventurer and took the first leap. She couldn’t believe what she saw next. Instead of falling into whatever goop that was… she thought she heard the other pony say it was slime. Honestly, she didn’t see what was so dangerous about the slime unless it was too viscous to swim in. It’s not like it wouldn’t wash out. They had managed to save her friend though and they started running back to the village. She followed them back and got back just as they were confronting the white shirted pony once more. The pony who dropped the sack that he was dragging… that had all their topaz in it. Daring Do hadn’t stolen their sacred possessions… It was this pony! Oh she was livid! She was part of the angry mob that chased her out of town and looked back to see everypony cheering on Daring Do once again. Seeing this, and everything else getting put back together in the weeks to come, gave her the confidence to say goodbye to Somnambula and begin her own journey in Equestria to make her own mark in the league of expeditioners. Hopefully when she got older, her name would be just as common of a household name as her idol’s Character Personality: Venture Heart is very outgoing and very talkative when she’s not out in the field. She speaks very highly of herself and is somewhat of a boaster, despite the fact that she currently has very little to stake claim to. When she is out on an exploration site, she becomes an entirely different pony. She will still talk to maintain conversation, but otherwise her mind and her senses are alert to everything around her. There are dangers around every turn when a pony is exploring the unknown, and the way you survive it is by being prepared for it. Both in the city and on the field she can be a bit arrogant and cocky which oftentimes ends up getting her into petty arguments that sometimes get a bit out of hoof, or gets herself into some pretty hot water in the field… sometimes literally hot water. Character Summary: Venture Heart is an Adventuring Pony from Somnambula looking to make a name for herself in the field of artifacts and trinkets hoping that she could one day aspire to be the next adventuring icon like Daring Do.
  7. ~~~Ice Storm~~~ Ice Storm could already tell that the charade that she had witnessed had put both of the ponies in the room on edge. She could see where both of the ponies were coming from, but if what Nira had said is true, and from what Shiroi's words seemd to indicate is that they are to an extent, then Nira would be one-hundred percent in the right. If it's something in the cabinet that is inflicting harm onto the populace, by accident or intentional or not, then the ones in the cabinet should be doing everything in their power to fix it. That would include putting the nation's best healer on the case. If something like this inside of STAR, she would have already had her healers working on the populace while she worked on moving her experiments to a place where fewer ponies would be subject to the after effects of it. Still, this was not a conversation that they should have here. Surely she knew that Nira knew that as well. Shiroi had been the one to tell her to voice her opinions, but Nira should have also pointed out that now was not the time for such things. If Shiroi continued to push the matter, then by all means let her have it. She was relieved to hear Ishi give her the permission that she was needing, and further pleased to hear him assign Nira to her squad. She would get to talk things over a bit more with her, and try to figure out a way to solve her problems that would mutually benefit everypony involved. She clearly wasn't happy there anymore, and she wasn't sure what kind of feudal system that they had, but she'd heard stories of old imperial nations in the past having not so... well, lets just said that ponies that worked for a cabinet like this for those nations didn't retire, they came up missing and she didn't want something like that to happen to Nira. From the conversation that she just had from Ishi, she didn't think that was how Neighpon operated, but she knew that Shiroi was a very matter of fact pony that had a severe case of paranoia. IF she felt that Nira was a danger, she would make Nira disappear. She hoped that she was wrong, but she had a feeling that she was going to get proven right when they went to the island. They had no idea what they were looking for or what they would find when they got there. "Perfect! Then we shall depart immediately. I would like to personally thank the three of you for the hospitality that you have shown myself and my crew so far. May the fortunes favor us and we can put an end to whatever Hou might be planning swiftly," Ice Storm replied. At this juncture though, she was a bit lost. She didn't want to violate customs but she wasn't really sure if she was suppose to wait for her to tell her that she was free to leave, or if it would be considered indignant to stay beyond what was considered welcomed. He did say that they could begin their search, so she went with her gut and she stood up and gave a light bow to the Shogun. "May the stars bring you good heath," she said before looking back to Shiroi. "I do believe we are ready to depart. If you could lead us back to the exit we will be out of your manes shortly," she said to the pink unicorn. ~~~Niradaña~~~ Nira would refrain from saying anymore but she could see that she clearly struck a nerve of Shiroi, and she played right into her cards. The Magitech she was producing was dangerous but had an unlimited means of producing more. Yet because of Shiroi, and entirely because of her, Nira was unable to help anypony outside of the palace walls. Shiroi was the very definition of a hypocratical tyrant. What she did, didn't matter. Nira couldn't help but roll her eyes as Shiroi tried to undermine her importance by saying that if she failed there would never be enough hospitals. Honestly, she didn't know how somepony this single minded was ever let on staff to begin with, let alone put in charge of it. Shiroi was the exact kind of pony that would have brought down the Ming Dynasty, and if she's not stopped, Shiroi is going to be the one responsible for the collapse of neighpon. Not the healer that wants to protect it, but the magitech inventor that only cares about what she can make happen, no matter the cost to everypony else's safeties or liberties. That would be a conversation that she would have to have with Ishi, and possibly the rest of the council. Hopefully with this little admission that she'd gotten from her, and on this investigation trip she could find evidence to bring up against Shiroi that's proving that she's putting ponies in danger. She would give Ishi a nod as he granted them permission to start the investigation. She watched as Commander Ice Storm stand to address him, thanking them for their hospitality, and proclaiming that they were ready to begin the meat of the investigation. Something that she herself was quite looking forward to.
  8. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~ Wind Dancer smiled at Skip as he introduced himself to her. She could tell that he was quite happy, and she wasn't entirely surprised that he hasn't heard of her. She wasn't really expecting many of the younger ponies here to. When she heard his father speak up though, it was clear that he'd heard of her, saying that their hometown celebrity had finally made her way back home, inquiring how she knew Miss Scarlett. Scarlett gave the answer and she smiled happily as he asked about Sky and Scarlett told him that they were prepping for a show. "Indeed! When Scarlett suggested the idea of coming to support Skip here, I got the idea to put on a small show for the little ones here. Speaking of which," she said turning back to Skip. "I was also planning on letting all the fillies and colts dance with me in the performance, though the announcer probably doesn't know that yet. I kinda reached that decision while sitting in the stands," she giggled. "What do you say? Wanna come and dance with me and the other fliers from the exam?" She asked holding her hoof out as she heard the announcer call out the last flier of the day.
  9. ~~~Aloe Blossom~~~ Aloe smiled at Rose when she told her that she hadn't really known any other ponies that utilized that practice other than herself. Kelp had always been a staple food for marine life, but had a lot of medicinal properties as well depending on type and wound. "Indeed, combined with a bit of Aloe, the plant, not me," she giggled. "It can have wonderful pain reducing effects as well as making for a great bandage," she said as Rose started pulling her though the lake bed and started explaining some of the different reagents for her. There was one that was called Hydrallia and explained what it was. She didn't explain what it was used for, but also said that there really shouldn't be too much of a surprise as to what that was. Given the name, she presumed it was some sort of regenerative agent. She also explained a few others, and what they did and what she was hopeful that some could do. She also mentioned a few others that she said that they probably weren't going to find in this lake. Honestly, that didn't matter to her. What did was she was out spending time with Rose. When she suggested the thought of moving the spa out here, Aloe Pondered for a moment. "Or we could open a second one here. I couldn't possibly shut down the Ponyville Spa, I would lose way too much business. Expanding the business though, is a possibility. What are the things that you're hoping to do with the one that can help with the eyes? You think there is a way to give sight back to a blind pony?" she asked curiously.
  10. ~~~Ice Storm~~~ Ice Storm smiled as Myth seemed to enjoy the idea of being able to get information from a book. For most ponies it seemed like a trivial task, but for a pony that's never had the gift of sight, it's quite an accomplishment indeed. That works have to wait though, as Ice Storm's stomach wasn't getting and quieter and she listened to Raven start suggesting places before saying they should let Myth pick and to lead them to something that smelled good. Myth seemed to agree with that herself, saying t that she had heard good things about Las Pegasus street food. "Yeah, all of the food here is pretty amazing. It has to be to keep up with each other. A restaurant or cart with poor taste won't last long," Ice Storm said as she started leading them outside. "Alrighty Myth, lead the way," Ice said with a smile. It was a bit warmer outside than she liked it too be, but she also didn't care much for any temperature above freezing so she didn't really get to complain too much.
  11. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~Morning Dew~~~Water Wing~~~ Recognizing the colt from her class today, Morning Dew let out a loud cheer herself when she watched him take to the skies. He wasn't going to break any records, but he was doing pretty okay in her book. That was until he clipped his wing on one of the loops and started to spin out. Thankfully, the colt had paid attention in her class today and was able to quickly right himself before skidding to a stop. She gave an even bigger cheer and she saw the colt finish. "Woo! Way to nail it Skipper!" she said with a loud cheer making her husband start digging at his ear a bit. "Eheheh... Sorry... But I'm so proud. We literally just went over how to get out of a spin in class today! I think he should get bonus points for that!" She said with a smile before watching Scarlett look around before letting it a sigh of relief when she saw his parents. She said that she was a bit worried when she didn't see them but then realized they'd know he'd need something after the exam bet saying how proud she was. "It is a pretty good experience watching the ponies that you care for succeed," she said getting ready to turn to Windy. To her surprise, Wind Dancer was already starting to make her way over to the family. Wind Dancer smiled as she approached Skipper and his family. "Hey there little guy. You're a pretty amazing flier you know? It takes a lot of resilience and endurance to push through adversity, but believe me when I say that I see a pony that could be pretty amazing when they grow up," she said leaning down to him. "My name is Wind Dancer. What's your name?" she asked him.
  12. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~ Windy listened as Cloudy spoke. It seemed that here nerves were getting the better of her and started second guessing herself a bit. She said that she was literally just unboxing and planning things but had little experience in building things, generating effects, or creating wind. Windy smirked at that last comment. She was going to speak up but cloudy continued, saying that she'd have to decline on the offer. That she probably would want someone with more experience than her, and that she was better at the chemical side of things than anything else and she was already super nervous about the Wonderbolt job. She also added that she did used to be party of the Canterlot weather team, but she moved away because she would constantly lost track of herself flying and crashing into one of the buildings. Cloudy mentioned one crash where she landed on her wind and wasn't able to fly for a couple months.Wind Dancer couldn't help but wince a bit, and rub over the scar in her wing in response. She knew exactly what that felt like. Hearing that though she extended her own wing to show Cloudy the scar that she had. "That scar is from an accident I'm Cloudsdale from when I was a filly. Remember when I said those cloud pillars aren't as soft as they look? I had just discovered my talent for being able to control wind and wind gusts when the weather factory lost control of a storm and it went rogue through the city. I thought I could stop it or help steer it away, but being a filly what winds I could make were no were near strong enough and I got overpowered by the storm..." "My left wing got wrapped almost completely around one of those pillars, shattered the wing joint and Brooke the bones here," she said pointing on her main flight arm. "here," moving up just past the main joint. "And here," she said pointing the last point just before the second joint. "And I tore every ligament in the main joint. It took every bit of pleading and every last bit my parents had just to convince the doctors to not just amputate it. I wasn't able to actually fly normally until about five years ago when the right pony just happened to be watching me dance and wondered why I never got off the ground. Next thing I know is getting a letter from the Las Pegasus medical center asking my to come in to meet with them and now I'm here," she commented with a short pause. "Just from what bit I've been able to talk with you, I know you have a powerful personality. You're a lot stronger than you believe yourself to be and I have all the confidence in the world that you're going to do an amazing job. Don't let one or two bad experiences hold you back," she said with a warm smile. Cloudy then further added that the only reason she actually signed on was for a chance to be backstage with the Wonderbolts. At that moment an idea crossed her mind. "Hey! That gives me an idea! One that will help you confidence a bit and making this a bit more fun. Why don't I give you a backstage pass and you can come early to the show tomorrow and see how everything works? You don't have to like a hoof, just watch and learn. Plus, during my shows the only thing that would matter is that they are clouds. I don't need and fancy shapes or the like and I generate all of the wind that I need in my routines. That was you have a little bit of experience to help you make your decision and figure out of it's something that your like or not. This way we can get your conference up to, and you get free back stage access for my show," she said, giving Cloudy a wink.
  13. ~~~Aloe Blossom~~~ Aloe nodded when Rose asked if she would help her grab some marine reagents. She heard mostly just used kelp herself. Kelp wraps were actually quite popular at her spa. She wasn't sure what other reagents Rose would be looking for down here. But she did know that Rose would let her know and explain things along the way if she had questions. She also said that she could catch Rose up on everything at the spa. "Well, there isn't a whole lot to catch up. That leaky valve that Applejack fixed was finally replaced the other night so we don't have to worry about the gasket or the patch coming off and it leaking again. Outside of that, profits have been up despite hiring some more help for when we start going on adventures. Having the extra help let's us see more ponies in a day, and that's been giving us more opportunities," Aloe smiled as she swam next to Rose. "Also, your going to have to point out things that your looking for outside of kelp. That's really the only thing I've ever used out of the lake. Kelp wraps are one of the more popular treatments we have."
  14. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~ Wind Dancer couldn't help but blush a bit more when she heard the praise and what's she'd heard ponies recognizing her for already and said that there was no denying that she was amazing. "I suppose that's true, but I really don't do any it for attention or added praise. I genuinely care for others and their enjoyment, but more importantly their health and safety. I try my hardest to make the lives of everyone around me better because it makes me feel good to do so. I've never really cared about anything else other than making other ponies smile in any way I can," she added. Then as Cloudy started talking about what she was doing in Cloudsdale currently, her eyes started to light up. She was helping with the set up of a Wonderbolt Show? And she didn't think she was amazing! Sure she'd won a company competition for it, but more often than not that's exactly how big opportunities happen! She was certain that she'd be a regular set up pony in no time and when she offered to help her! The show was going to be a few months away in Canterlot, but she was excited for it and now Windy was to. "Oh! I've only been to Canterlot once myself. A bit to stuck up for my taste really, and the ponies there definitely aren't really about helping others. But I'm sure you'll do an amazing job. In fact, since you offered if you want some practice I would love to have you set up for a couple of my shows, and I have a major all-day music and performance festival that I'm setting up within the next couple months. I could really use more stagehooves, and with cloud props that could help lighten the hoofprint on the area since confetti and some of the other prop ideas would get in the reservoir and along the shore and would take a bit to get fully cleaned up so it didn't hurt any of the fish or other wildlife in the area. Oh we could also have you make the stands by the lake! They'll... Need to be anchored though... You'll find out why at my show tomorrow night," Wind smiled as their drinks were brought back. "Sorry for the wait... The morning crew forgot to press the blueberries and the pomegranates into the juice we needed for the tea so we had to do that real quick. Do you both know what you're having today?" "Don't worry about it! We aren't in a hurry and the day is still young. I think I'm going to have the Hurricane Salad with extra pecans and lots and lots of raisins," she said with a giggle. The waitress pony jotted everything down with her wing and then turned to Cloudy. "And for you miss?"
  15. ~~~Aloe Blossom~~~ Aloe was pleased to hear that Rose liked her idea of the underwater palace. Though she admitted that she wasn't real familiar with the actual architecture from Maretonia. She said that most of the ruins that were in the ocean were either cursed or had cursed items in them and weren't really explored. She did say that she recalled seeing similar architecture from the Tenochtiltan era. She had heard of it but had never seen it herself, but if it was similar to the Maretonian ruins then she was all for it. "The Tenococklititan or however it's pronounced is fun with me. I just wanted something that would go with the ruins that were already here once we cleaned them up a bit," Aloe said with a smile. Rose them went on to say that she was mistaken as a pony of their culture once but the prince and was aiding them as a benefactor of things. She wasn't really sure what that meant other than she got to see places, and that would help them here. She could see Rose getting more and more excited though as she thought about it and she couldn't help but blush a bit when she heard Rose complement hey and say that they would have the perfect home to raise their foals. "I can't wait for it, it might even be almost as amazing as you are," Aloe giggled before booping Rose with her nose.
  16. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~Morning Dew~~~Water Wing~~~ Wind Dancer was quite happy to hear from Scarlet that there were many pegasi that were here in Cloudsdale that had looked up to them because of everything that they were able to bounce back from. That was something that she was always going to take pride in. Being an inspiration for others to help them through their troubled times meant so much to her. "That's good to hear, although I hope no pony else has been seriously hurt, but if they were, I know that we can help them pull through," she smiled. She made a note to visit the local hospital while they were here as well. While she wasn't usually one to gloat about her accomplishments, she did somewhat want to rub it in the doctors face where she was now no thanks to his greed. There would be time for that later though. They were starting to approach the arena and there were plenty of seats to chose from. Windy immediately started looking for where the announcer was sitting before flying up to him and whispering in his ear that there was going to be a slight modification to the post race ceremonies. "It wasn't easy, and there were many of times when watching her struggle we felt like absolute failures of parents. Our baby girl was hurting and in pain constantly and there wasn't anything we could do to comfort her or make it get better. I'm not going to lie... when she left home I felt like what was left of my heart was shattering into pieces. It made me so incredibly happy to see her today when she was standing outside the school house," Morning Dew started as her eyes started tearing up again just as Windy came back to them. "Seeing her home, seeing how far she's come, and seeing how far Sky's come for that matter, and how strong they both are now... This is without a doubt the happiest day of my life to date," she said using a hoof to rub the tears from her eyes. "I can't say that I was expecting today either, I don't think any of us were, but right now we're here to cheer on this little colt," Water said with a smile as Wind returned with a confused look. She was about to ask something before the PA came on and started announcing the event. They started announcing names and she heard Scarlet cheer loudly when she heard the name Skipper Skid. The three of them would cheer as well when he was pointed out to them, and the first thing that Windy noticed was in fact his wings. They were just a bit smaller than the rest of him proportionately. This must have been one of the ponies that she was an inspiration for, and that meant the little impromptu performance they were going to do was going to mean that much more. She could already see Sky and Nor'Easter closing in. No doubt Sky was probably already looking for the best place to set up.
  17. ~~~Ice Storm~~~ Ice Storm nodded when she heard Shiroi talk about nothing in the area having any direct mind-manipulating abilities. She mentioned that there were some Yokai that had some abilities like that but anything that could remotely affect the mind were locked up in the Imperial Vault, and last time that she had checked, which was yesterday, they were still there. That sounded pretty reasonable, although with only a vague understanding of what the Remembrance Stone could do, it wouldn't be unreasonable to presume that it could have been used to make a pony believe that something was there when they weren't. The fact that it was yesterday though, made her thoughts lesson. As much magic as there is here, there would be no way that Hou could have snuck into this place and used the stone on them to make them believe otherwise. When the Longma began speaking, it didn't take much for Ice Storm to hear dissatisfaction dripping from her word choices that she used. Her words had confirmed the suspicions that she had that she wasn't willing to vocalize to this point. IT was something that she would still refrain from addressing here. As she listened, she heard the retort that Shiroi had for her about. She could see the merit in both sides of the argument, however, there was more merit to Nira's. Restricting a healer of her quality, if what had been mentioned about her abilities were true, to only being able to work on one singular pony was the very definition of greed. She had no reason to wonder why Nira was dissatisfied, but she remained silent for the moment. She feared that if she spoke up in this manner, over something that she really didn't have any say in, would create tension in the newly formed acquaintances. Neighpon weren't allies yet, but if they played their cards right, they very easily could be by the time they were done with this mission. "Right, so... everything aside, does anypony know how long it will take to gather these records. As many as it sounds like there are it sounds like it could take quite a bit of time to go through and bring anything relevant back here. I was wondering if I could explore and investigate some of the more saturated islands in terms of Aether and see if I might be able to get any clues that could perhaps help us narrow our search. This way it serves two fold. We only see the intel you want us to see under your supervision, and we can do some recon as well. I think that would be the best course of action from here now that we've secured the foothold," Ice Storm commented. At this point in time she really didn't have anything else that she was wanting to discuss. The main reason she came here was to get permission for the investigation and to get access to the records. Or course if they still had any questions for her, she would be more than willing to answer them so as long as they didn't approach anything classified themselves. ~~~Niradaña~~~ The words that Shiroi spoke to her did not do any favors for her mood right now. She's heard all of this beaurocratic red tape before. It's never out of greed or paranoia it's about the process! At the very base of the process though, was greed, and the reasoning that Shiroi gave was the very definition of paranoia. Really? If the entire regime could fall because she helped somepony other than the shogunate then maybe it was a regime that needed to fall. It sounded like Ishi was going to try to help her once again, but even he was only able to get so far the last time. The ink wasn't even dry on the deed before the rest of the shogunate found a way to weasle her out of it and find some reason why it would be a security threat. He also said that perhaps this wasn't the best time for this discussion and could wait until they aren't hunting an evil sorcress. She couldn't hold back her comment when she heard Shiroi say that there were more to the decisions than greed and paranoia and that it wasn't like there was a shortage of doctors or hospitals. "There's no shortage of our subjects dying either from accidents involving your magitech. Subjects that I could be saving with my abilities and not stuck in here being a glorified nanny with bandaids," she countered before turning back to Ishi and taking a deep breath. It was becoming clear as day, she no longer belonged here. She loved everything about it at first. She was one of the most powerful healers in Neighpon and trained among the best medics in the Imperial Legion. She was hoof selected to be the primary medic on staff for the Shogun, most ponies would give everything to get to where she was. But then that was it wasn't it? She was here now and she could see how everything actually worked and the more she saw of it, the more she hated it, and the more she wanted out. The only reason she was still here was because she didn't want her family to suffer because of her. She didn't like the thought of leaving Ishi, as there was still plenty of her that cared for him on a deep level, but she also knew that she would never reach her full potential here. Her attention then turned back to the ice colored mare that she had led here, Commander Storm. It seemed that she was ready to push forward with the investigation and it was news that she was quite happy to hear. She honestly didn't think that she would be able to stay in this room for another second with Shiroi and have everything remain civil and not release the angry tirade of Neighponese curses that were right on the tip of her tongue, company present or not. She further remained quiet as she awaited the response from the others, but she knew that she was finally getting out of the circle of the palace for a while and there wasn't a single thing that Shiroi could do about it. With Ishi acting as shogun, and with his decree that she was to escort these ponies, his word was law.
  18. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~ It didn't really surprise her too much on both accounts. She said that she had only worked on the water machines a few times when some of her friends needed the days off and she had met him then. She told her that he was pretty nice from what she could remember and that he certainly helped keep the factory going. Outside of that though, she really didn't know him that well other than knowing that he worked with the water. She did add that he must be proud to have a daughter as amazing as her. "Oh, I'm not really all that amazing. Just very strong willed. Not many ponies can come back from the kind of accident that I had. I just never had it in me to give up..." she said thinking about it for a minute. "You know, when it's put like that, it is kinda amazing, but honestly, I'm not really that much different from anypony else. Really the main difference is that almost everypony knows my name now, and that can be as much of a curse as it is a blessing sometimes you know?" she replied. She was happy though when she heard that Cloudy was enjoying her time here in Las Pegasus. She told her that things certainly hadn't gone as she was expecting them to and that this was way better than anything that she could have possibly hoped for. That there was definitely no disappointment coming from her. "Well, I'm happy that I've been able to help you relax and enjoy the place a bit more. Places like this are always more fun when you're doing things with friends. After a while of doing things on your own, everything does kind of lose it's charm after a while," she said before she listened once more after she had asked if everything was okay. She could tell by the way that she was talking that she was a bit flustered and that definitely wasn't what she was trying to accomplish. This was exactly one of those things like she had just commented on about sometimes everypony knowing your name could be a curse. Sure it was amazing to meet new friends, but she didn't like being that pony that overshadowed her friends. That wasn't fair to them and they shouldn't have to be forced to live up to some standard just for her. In fact she does everything she can to make sure that they don't have to. When she asked what her thoughts on Las Pegasus were, before pausing and then hiding back behind her menu, she pondered for a moment. She heard Cloudy apologies again and she raised an eyebrow. "What are you apologizing for? You haven't done anything wrong. Honestly I've never really thought about it cause no pony's really ever stopped to ask me about it. My answer for how Las Pegasus is really depends on which part you're talking about. The ground district is one of the worse parts of LP, but it's not all that bad, just don't go out alone at night. Ponies frequently try to take advantage of others there. The strip is a decent part of town, but it's also the busiest, and you have some of the older parts that are downtown. Over all I think Las Pegasus is a decent attraction, and it's most definitely a place ponies from all over can come to get away and just have some fun. However, when it comes to living in the city I'm not actually sure how much longer I'll be doing that. It's the performance capital of the world, right up there with Manehatten, but also like Manehatten, it's really not a place that I would want to raise a foal in. So once the little one is born Sky and I will probably be moving to someplace close by that's a little quieter so that I can still perform here, but also be able to raise them in a worry free environment," she said speaking honestly about the city.
  19. It had been about a week since that quite taxing exam procedure that Rose had used on her, and she really couldn't argue with the result no matter how uncomfortable it made her at the time. It also did them well to learn just where the boundaries were so that they wouldn't cross them again next time. Of course that wasn't really what was on Aloe's mind at the moment. Apparently in the days following Rose had been busy consulting with others and she had given her another one of those potions that would let her temporarily turn into a seapony. She drank the concoction once they got to the lake. She heard Rose talking about some sort of hippogriff bandit or something coming to the shop and expressed and interest in her wares. She resisted the urge to be a smart-flank and say that yes, that was generally why a pony went to a store to begin with, but she held her tongue. Rose seemed quite exquisitely happy today and didn't want to jeapordize that with some untimely sarcasm. She made sure to stay close to her as she lead her way to a part of the lake that either they hadn't been to yet or they had completely overlooked. One thing that she knew for certain though, was she absolutely did not remember any of these ruins being here before. She could tell that they were the start of something and she heard rose say that she had found these structures and had enchanted them to be something sort of a safe zone. that the area could act as a nursery of sorts and prevent the guppie from straying too far out of the safe zone. It seemed like a logical plan. When she asked if there was anything else that she should add, Aloe pondered. "Well, I can't say for certain without seeing the blueprints for the house itself, but I like the floor plan so far. I just need to know how many rooms we're planning on having and where they are so I can get a better idea of things. Or you can simply take me to the different parts of the layout and you could tell me what you were thinking. I like the old Maretonian Ruins idea and we could definitely work around that," she said as her eyes went wide with and idea. "Hey! what if we made an underwater Maretonian Palace using the ancient archetecture! There aren't a lot of the ruins here to go off of, but I'm sure with a few books we could find just what we're looking for. Only I don't know how expensive that would be to build on land, let alone underwater..." she said thinking about it more.
  20. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~Morning Dew~~~Water Wing~~~ Wind Dancer smiled as she watched Sky leave to get his instruments. Today was going to be even more fun now and she was already thinking of what kind of silly duck themed dances she could do. She also listened to Scarlett mention that she thought that Sky might be indulging me a bit, and that he was never really one for racing. She added that he probably would have failed flight school if it wasn't for his endurance. "It certainty did. I wasn't the fastest growing up either, and after what happened I'm pretty sure I only barely passed myself. After my crash there was just a lot of things I couldn't do and just barely being able to fly was a problem all throughout school," Wind Dancer stated. Morning Dew shook her head. "Nonsense dear, you've always been a strong flyer. The fact that you could fly with an injury like you had is a testament to that. Why I would dare to say that you're a stronger flyer than Rainbow Dash." "Okay, let's not get too carried away. Rainbow is on a while nother level than pretty much every other pegasus here," Wind laughed. "Your mother has a point though. You have a force of will that's not seen very often. Most ponies would have given up. Besides, all that is over with now. Let's put it behind us and go and cheer on this colt," Water Wing said with a smile.
  21. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~ Cloudy seemed to talk down her role a bit, v starting that the machines that she worked on only produced weather clouds. That the ones that made the structural clouds were a lot more advanced and while she could easily work on them they weren't her cup of tea. To many moving parts meant a lot of things to go wrong. She started to go into a bit of the intricacies of it before the stopped herself and simply ordered a water. That blueberry drink sounded pretty good though. "Actually, bring me one of those instead. That sounds pretty tasty as well," she said as the waitress nodded before retreating to grab their drinks. "So, what do you think of Las Pegasus in general? Is everything living up to your expectations? A lot of ponies that come here either get super excited or super disappointed. It generally depends on when they come though. There's a lot more on the weekends than the weekdays, but there still something going on if you know where to look," she said with a smile. She then thought about the fact that Cloudy said that she worked in the weather factory on the cloud machines. "Oh hey, I just remembered. If you work in the weather factory your probably know my dad he's the one what works with the water and makes sure that it gets where it's supposed to. He also helps the reason and snow wings as well. His name is Water Wing, ring any bells?" She asked as they drinks were brought to them. So far she thought things were going well but she could see Cloudy hiding in her menu a bit. "Hey, is everything okay?" she asked her concerned.
  22. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~Morning Dew~~~Water Wing~~~ Morning Dew smiled and nodded to both Scarlett and Windy before hearing Sky say something about a silly duck dance. She couldn't help but giggle and then responded. "We'd be more than happy to offer him some support them, and if I know my Windy, a silly duck dance is right up her alley. I might even have her old duck costume from when she did play in school!" she said watching Windy's cheeks turn red. "Aaaas cute as that would be, I don't think I'd be able to for in that, but a silly duck dance does sound fun. Maybe we could even let the fillies and colts participate. Make this a race they'll never forget. What time does the race start?" Windy asked with a smile. She was already looking forward to this. Her mother was right about one thing. She loved silly dances, and a silly duck dance was something that she would love to do. She began to think what kind of crazy things she could get up to.
  23. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~ Windy couldn't help but giggle when Cloudy said that this reminded her of the old Cloudeseum, and also told her not to hold back because she was around. "Nah, it's more of the fact that when I end up eating a whole pie I feel like talking a nap afterwards, and a nap is the last thing I wanna do right now," she said with a smile. "And I'm glad you're enjoying it! I don't come up here to the Cloud District very often myself, but when I do this is usually where I come to. I just find myself liking the decor better and the ponies here are a lot nicer than they are at the other casinos up here, at least to the locals," she told her as another waitress greeted them. "Good afternoon! My name is Bright Skies and I'll be helping you today. Can I get you two started with something to drink?" the sky blue Pegasus pony asked before realizing who she was talking to. "Oh... My... It's... It's..." She said before taking a deep breath and then exhaling. "Sorry, I just never thought I'd get to serve my idol..." "It's okay," Windy said with a laugh. "I will take one of your mixed berry lemon lime sodas, and I'm happy that I can be an inspiration to you," Wind said with a smile. The waitress pony then turned to the other Pegasus pony. "My apologies, I haven't forgotten about you. Just miss Windy here is the reason my little brother can fly again. It off nowhere the entire procedure for paid for and it completely changed his life. You certainly have an amazing friend, which means you must be a pretty amazing pony to." "Sure certainly is. Most of our cloud structures wouldn't exist without her," Wind said with a smile and a wink to Cloudy. The waitress nodded and then looked back to Cloudy. "Well then, I certainly thank you for your contribution. What can I get you to drink today? If you like tea, I highly recommend our blueberry pomegranate iced tea. Probably some of the best iced tea I've had," she recommended.
  24. ~~~Aloe Blossom~~~ Aloe's eyes widened even more when she watched all the desserts getting brought out. Cookies, ice cream, and a weird dessert thingy from another land that looked delicious? She instantly took the bowl of strawberry vanilla swirl and dipped one of the cookies into it before smashing another cookie on top and then bit into it. "Oh, these are great! You've got to try them like this, and those checabalalokias or whatever they are called look yummy to." she said after Twilight explained what they were. At the base level of the weird flower shaped dessert, it was just a honey bun with sesame seeds. She wasted no time biting into it and the honey instantly sticking to her teeth. She also listened to Twilight as she spoke of her travels. It wasn't surprising at all. Both that she was traveling a lot and that the other nations would strive to try to impress her. She is the sole ruler of Equestria now, so her decisions on matters were final. Plus she would be the main diplomate at most of her meetings. She knew that her friends probably went with hey as well for the ones that were considered of the highest importance, and would bounce things off of them before making a decision, or at least Spike. She heard Rose ask about possible places that maybe they could visit just the two of them. Or anything that might interest them into talking peak. She looked to twilight with great interest. It had been a while since she'd taken a break for herself and doing things with Rose had made her happy. The more they could do together, the happier sure would be. She would simple wait for a response as she didn't have much else to add to the conversation other than the food tasting good.
  25. ~~~Wind Dancer~~~ Wind Dancer smiled and nodded at the reaction of the pie. She also couldn't help but blush a bit again at the comment on the she an w that she was happy that she got to live her dream. Cause then she got to see said show. "Hearing that once was bad enough, but working through everything made everything all the more special. As it is now, I'm just happy that ponies are enjoying my shows, and I do my best to make sure that everypony can," she said with a smile. She then went back to the pie. "And yup, strawberry silk pie. It's so smooth and creamy and strawberry-y. I can usually eat a whole pie by myself, but I try to show a little bit more restraint than that... Usually..." She said with a giggle as the hostess greeted them. "Good afternoon," she said before recognizing Windy. "Oh! Hey Windy! Just got out of a show I take it?" "Yup, grabbing some lunch and then taking my new friend to see the jousting matches later," she replies. "Lucky! I'm stuck here until later in the evening. They'll be over by then. Oh well. Just the two of you today or will Sky be joining later?" "Just us two. Sky is making sure everything gets home," she replied to the hostess. The hostess them nodded and lead them to their table. The decor of the restaurant matched the decor and the theme of the rest of the casino. It looked like you had walked straight into Ancient Pegasopolis. Everything was made feeling the ancient cloud stone and modeled after the old architecture. The booths were also cloudstone and came with cushions for the ponies to sit on.
