  1. Ice Storm waited nervously for his answer. She had never had feelings for anypony before and she didn't know what was the proper speed to do things. This was how everypony did it right? They found someone they cared for and then there you go. Nothing to it. Or at least so it seemed in though. Her nerves were telling her the complete opposite. That was until she heard him accept and she darted at him almsot tackling him in a hug. "Yay!!!" she said happily.
  2. Ice waited nervously as Rarity made her way to the kitchen and got her a glass of water. She levetated it towards her and she grabbed it in her hooves and took a drink from it before levitating it herself over to the table by the couch giving a small smile as Rarity added that she'd move it if it looked like they were in danger. It was light, and it definitely helped calm her nerves. That was until Rarity asked if Ice was ready. Ice took a deep breath and nodded. "First off I wanna start by apologizing, I really wasn't trying to bring anypony directly into everything that's happened to me, and at the same time thank you for being willing to listen," she said rolling into the couch. "Everything started when I lived in Fillydelphia. I was born there. My Father is SilverMane and my mother is Mist Weaver, well was... I don't know what happened... well I know what happened, but I don't know why. I used to get walked all over in Fillydelphia. It's definitely not a place for foals let me tell you. The older, larger ponies didn't care if you got kicked, stepped on, or even run over, it was always your fault for being in the way, and that they shouldn't have to worry about stepping on anypony. I use to always love going home because my mother would always be there for me. Both my parents were, but then they started associating themselves with one of the more popular Nobles in Fillydelphia at the time, I don't remember his name now, but the soon became more worried about their image in the city," she said, her voice turning a bit sorrowed. "That was the day that everything started falling apart. After that I would go home from foal school and I would run to my mother for a hug but she'd just walk on by. When ever I tried to even talk to them they always told me that they were too busy to listen and that I should just stay in my room. Basically in a nut shell saying that I wasn't worthy of their time. This went on for six months. I tried to just deal with it and move on, but after six months of being completely ignored by the very ponies that said that they would always be there for you is not an easy pill to swallow..." she commented a tear starting to form in the corner of her eye. "One night, I decided that since I was so unworthy of their time, I'd be better off on my own since I'd practically been living on my own anyway. So I decided to leave... The very night I left though... I stood in our door way for an entire hour... stating that I was walking out and never coming home... And then never... even looked up..." she stated through a sob. "They didn't even acknowledge that I was leaving, and honestly I doubt that they even noticed that I left. These bracelets were the last thing that my mother gave me before they met the aristocrat.... and the only thing I have left of the loving parents that I used to have, and it was the only thing I had that I was able to leave with. Other than something to carry water in... From there I walked, all the way from Fillydelphia to Canterlot. That was the time I was telling you at the cafe, when I literally lost everything I had..." she spoke trying to keep herself contain. Her emotions showed on her face though, and she was struggling, fighting her own body to not burst into tears right there before she had even gotten halfway through the traumatic events, or at least the events that she thought were traumatic.
  3. Ice Storm followed Rarity closely behind her as she lead her back to the boutique. Without skipping a beat she had the door unlocked and escorted her inside. Just as when they had left it, it was immaculate. She lead her back into the living area of her boutique. It was something that Ice honored greatly as one doesn't simply let anypony waltz into their living quarters. It meant that Rarity had placed a lot of trust in her, and it was a trust that she had no intentions on breaking any time soon. Rarity showed her to a couch and she laid on it trying to make herself as comfortable as she could for the up coming talk. When Rarity asked if she would like something to drink, maybe tea perhaps, Ice shook her head. "I apprceate the offer, but a glass of water would be just fine, and it would probably be best if you kept it close to you when I'm not taking a drink. I've actually never had this discussion before so I don't know how it's going to turn out, and if the glass is near me, I don't trust myself not to spill it, and spilling something in here is the absolute last thing that I want to do. I would never forgive myself if I even so much as let something drip in here," she told her calmly, but in a nervous tone. The butterflies in her stomach were starting to get to her and all the while the every lasting question of what this would do to their friendship hung there in the back of her mind.
  4. Ice chuckled when she heard Heart Healer, as she had introduced mention that sometimes her power had a mind of its own. That she was an Empath and that she could read the emotions of others, and she had felt distress coming from with her. That she had felt anger and resentment, and that she decided to look into it. She also heard just before that Cadence continuing about how since the unspoken occurrence, Her aunt had been quite lonely. A fact that irritated Ice more that the attitudes of Canterlot. Yes Princess Luna Made mistakes... a thousand years ago. The only ponies that were even alive at the time when that had happened that he could think of would have been Princess Celestia, and maybe Princess Cadence. She had no way of knowing how old she was, and she wasn't about to ask. "I completely understand what you mean Heart. When I discovered my ability for controlling Ice, I was literally scaling this very mountain to get here the first time I moved here. Which is actually where everything stemmed from," she stated with a sigh. "So far my life has been anything short of horrifying, which is probably why you felt the emotions that you did. When I was a filly, I was everything but completely abandoned by my parents in Fillydelphia, I walked from there to here when I moved here many years ago before I even had my cutie mark, and then followed the paths up the mountain side only to get met with nothing but disrespect an bullying once I got here from the Canterlot Elite," she said turning to Cadence. "The one thing that does anger me even more than that though, is as you've addressed, how lonely Princess Luna is. It's not fair how everypony treats her and judges her for a mistake that she didn't even make in their lifetimes, it happened a millennia ago. She doesn't deserve to be scorned or shunned as some ponies do, she deserves to have friends and socialize just like everypony else!" she stated matter-of-factly defending her princes's honor. Realize that she was beginning to go on a rant though she paused and gave a weak smile. "Sorry, I'm normally better restrained than that. Anyway, my name is Ice Storm, and it's a pleasure to meat you Heart healer, and an honor to be able to speak with you princess," she responded politely.
  5. Ice frowned a bit when he first started saying that he didn't think that she would be a good friend at first, that she had so much energy and so much on her mind that he thought that she would just leave him behind. But that it obviously wasn't the case because she was still going and hadn't forgotten about him. She giggled and then blushed a small bit when he said he saw a beautiful mare. "Well, in that case... If you um... well, aren't seeing anypony else... I was um... kinda wondering.... if you'd be my special somepony..." she asked him straight out, the butterflies not hitting her stomach until after she had already vocalized the question at hand.
  6. Ice Storm waited at the edge of the forest for anypony else that might be coming along on this adventure and sure enough another couple of ponies showed up. The first was a somewhat Salmon colored pony with a small piece of her left ear missing. She wasn't sure what it could have been from but it definitely meant that this pony had some experience with something or another to have acquired it. She approached and Identified herself as gear shift and she stated that the idea of doing field research in the Everfree Forest and the new discoveries that they could make was sending chills down her spine. Oh, she's and archaeologist! Ice Storm thought to herself. As soon as she was getting ready to respond to GearShift, another pony began to approach them also from the direction of Ponyville. She introduced herself as Serendipity and that she was from Las Pegasus. That they had struck the jackpot when the flier for the adventure landed in her hooves because no adventure that she had ever been on had failed. Ice nodded as she inclined that she was indeed the pony that created the fliers. "Well then, I shall expect nothing less of this adventure. Then again as long as we all make it back in one piece, that is a successful adventure assuming that the rumors of the Everfree Forest are true. I've never been in there, but we're about to find out. It's a pleasure to meat both you and Gearshift as well as Harrington and Silver. I'm certain that we'll find a lot of amazing things inside the forest. I've also brought Canvas as well so that we can keep track of where we have been and if we find any new places, we can document it! I can't wait to get started!!!" she said happily as she started to head towards the treeline. "Is Everypony ready?"
  7. Wind listened as he said that the Aeroblades were a stunt team, and that they were just getting off the ground. That they were going to be going on tour soon. "Oh! I get it now! Like the Wonderbolts right!? that should be fun!!!" she said happily and excited. She'd love to see one of there performances. He then asked what else she liked to do other than dancing and she stopped for a moment. There was rarely a time where she wasn't dancing to be honest so she never stopped to think before what she would like other than dancing. "I can't really say that I know. I've spent my entire life dancing. If I had to pick though, it would be just spending a relaxing day in the park letting the winds of the day flow around me. Oh, and eating candy! I love candy!" she added once again with an enthusiastic tone.
  8. Ice felt the other Solar return the hug, and she knew that she had remembered her. It made her so happy to be reunited with an old friend of hers. Hearing that she missed being at the shop every other week with her sister. She sensed a bit of a drop in her voice when she mentioned her name, so something must have happened. She also didn't continue on the subject so Ice left it alone. She didn't need to sour the moment by bring up something that she has no business bringing up. "I must say, I do miss you coming into my store every other Saturday, though I'm only a train ride a way now. I've reopened in Ponyville. There are so many nicer Ponies there than there were here when I first moved here. I was actually on my way towards the park. I was going to be meeting one of my newer friends there, but apparently somethings going on in the mane square, so I'm not sure if she'll even be there or not. But hey, You're here now, so we can always head to the park anyway. It's sure to be a lot quieter there than it is here!" she said enthusiastically happy to be around her friend again.
  9. Ice laughed hwen he stated that he didn't know that she could make food so well that wasn't ice related. "Well, I can't survive on snow cones alone now can I?" she giggled clapping her hooves hearing that he had gotten a raise. "Oh my that's wonderful news! You must be so happy!" she stated taking a bit of her own sandwich. She smile, she may not be an amazing cook, but it was really hard to mess up a salad and a sandwich. She giggled again. "So Dunder, I have a somewhat personal question for you, if you don't mind. What to you think of me? As in, when you look at me, what do you think?" she asked him, the amount of confidence she was able to muster surprising even herself.
  10. Ice listened and nodded as Rarity told her that word of mouth could be a very popular thing, and that over time even the ponies in Canterlot may come around. She highly doubted that would happen, but she never knew. she had met at least a few decent ponies in Canterlot so she couldn't complain. When she asked if they were going to her shop or Rarity's though the butterflies in her stomach returned. Was this really a good idea? What if Rarity thought if was foolish? What if talking about it damaged their friendship? She came here to Ponyville to make friends not lose them. After all, her friends were all she had. IF she lost them she'd have no pony. "I think it would be best if we went back to your shop. It's a bit more secluded than mine is. Mine is almost right in the center of Ponyville Market. Great for attracting attention," she said her nervousness showing as they walked outside.
  11. Ice got out the plates and everything else required for the picnic and started lay them on the blanket while Dunder was spreading it out. "I know right? Most ponies are lucky even to get to meat one of the princesses, let alone two of them!" she told him happily as he asked what they were going to eat first. "Oh, I figured we'd start off with a Couple daffodil and daisy Sandwiches and a small salad. then we have snow cones for desert," she informed him as she set the sandwiches down for them and split up the salad. "Speaking of foods though, how's your restaurant doing? must be quite successful to take up as much time as it has," she observed.
  12. RP is up for those who are still interested in participating
  13. Ice waited for a few moments and sure enough a few other ponies began to show up. The first one to arrive was a silvery pony that introduced herself as Silver Heart. She seemed to be an adventuring type given the sword and shield on her flank. She was indeed very polite, and spoke with a deep voice presuming that she was Ice Storm. "Yes, that would be correct. My goal is to seek out what is actually in the forest. All I've ever heard about it are rumors and I want to find out if they are true or not. I figure there's not better way to find out than by first hand experience, and I know how to use my Ice defensively as well if we get into a jam," she spoke as another pony arrived. His coat was a bright red which contrasted with the brown and the black in his mane. He introduced himself as a private eye named Harrington. This made her happy. A private eye was just that, a really good eye. He would be able to see things that other ponies could end up missing. If they happen to come across anything dangerous, he would most likely be the first to spot it. "Yes, I am Ice Storm. It's a pleasure to meet the both of you. We'll wait here for a few more minutes for anypony else that may want to join in this adventure."
  14. "I've been doing quite well, actually," she started in reply. "Surprisingly enough my main friends are evenly spread through Canterlot and Ponyville, and two of them are princesses. Rarity and I are getting along as amazingly as ever, and I'm hopefully going to be buying another dress from her soon. Lore is still as nice as every by letting me stay there, even though I almost have enough for my own place now, and my shop has completely taken off. Everything has worked out wonderfully," she told him leading him to her favorite spot in the park just under the tree. There was another reason why she had invited him today. She would wait until a little bit later in the picnic, but the other reason behind the picnic today was to signal the three month anniversary of when they had first met, and today she was planning on asking him to become her special somepony. She just had to try to think of the right way to word it.
  15. Wind Dancer Listened as Sky Flare told her that he didn't know a whole lot about dancing, but that he was good at doing aerial stunts. At first he said that he was just doing it for him, but after he started hearing everypony cheer him on, it was just the icing on the cake. It was also why he had just recently joined the Aeroblades. "Hmm, Well likewise, I don't know a lot about stunts. Even if I wanted to perform stunts I doubt I'd be able to without re-injuring my wing. I'd much rather not have to go through that again. Though I must say, and you're probably going to think I'm crazy for asking this, but who are The Aeroblades? I can't say that I've heard of them even though I get the feeling I was supposed to," she said with a bit of blush on her cheek.
  16. It was a calm, somewhat dreary day in Ponyville as the could cover over the sky was preventing most of Celestia's sun from gracing the village leaving it a bit on the cool side. Ice loved the cooler temperatures of the cloudy days and it was even better that it was today that the weather was being lax. All throughout the week she had been planning on going on an adventure in the Everfree Forest, and she even made fliers telling everypony that from today until approximately two weeks from now her store was going to be closed and she would be back afterwards with lots of new stories to tell. She started to approach the edge of the forest, and she paused for a moment to check her saddle bag. "Compass, check. Map, Check. Food and water, Check, Camping supplies, check. Okay, doesn't look like I'm forgetting anything. Now to just wait here for a few minutes to see if anypony else responds to the fliers and may want to come with me on this adventure."
  17. Ice listened as the princess continued to speak sitting down next to her, saying that she hardly thought that she was notorious with a laugh and made her laugh a bit as well. "I suppose not, and I've actually come to find that the outer areas actually aren't all that bad. It's just when I moved here before, I was literally in just about the worst condition that I could be in. I think that may have had an issue in things as well," she finished as she asked which of the other princesses she'd met here. She first asked if it was Luna but then mentioned that she liked her peace and quiet. "Actually it was Princess Luna. I met her right after the Not-Quite-as-Grand Galloping Gala that was here a couple months ago. We had a nice long talk right here on this hill as a matter of fact, and at least it felt like we became decent friends. Which is a good thing considering how much I've heard other ponies try to avoid her. It sounds like she needs a good friend," she finished as another pony began to move into the area. If Ice wouldn't have known better, she would have said that she was a clone of the princess, as she looked exactly like Cadence without the wings, and obviously a different cutie mark, but even they were similar. Cadence's was the Gemmed heart, while this pony's was a heart with a bandage on it. It appeared that they were very similar indeed. She watched as Cadence greeted the other pony and in return the other pony bowed her head respectfully. Ice shook her head for a moment. "Wow," she said with a small giggle. "If I hadn't known any better I'd say you two were twins," she stated before realizing that it might have been disrespectful to compare the princess to a normal pony. She didn't seem like the type that would get offended by that, but Ice's ears lay against her head upon the realization. Royalty is still Royalty and most have their standards.
  18. The other pony turned around as she spoke to her, and she still swore up and down that she knew this pony from somewhere. It was actually starting to irritate her that she couldn't place where, or even what her name was. She returned her greeting with one of her own, and then added that she thought that they had met before, but she couldn't remember either. That settled it. She knew that she knew this pony from somewhere now, and that fact that she didn't know that she knew this pony or where she knew the pony from was absurd. that was until she heard the pony mention her name. "Solar Wind... Solar Wind... Solar Wind..." she muttered to herself before her eyes shooting wide. "Solar!!!" she yelled nearly tackling the other pony in attempt to hug. "It's me Ice Storm! You used to always come in my shop, and were one of the few that actually listened to what I had to say!!" Oh she was so much happier now that not only had she remembered her, but that she had been a friend. Hopefully that friendship hadn't dwindled out in her absence.
  19. Ice Storm was just making sure that she had everything that she had needed for the picnic today. The sandwiches, the drinks, and the syrups for their desert. It was one of the days off that she had during the week so that she was able to breath a bit and help stabilize the output of supplies. It wasn't too much longer before he showed up, and sure enough he just walked in. She smiled as he greeted her. "I'm doing just fine, I have everything ready to go, and I have the perfect spot in the park picked out for the picnic," she told him picking the basket up in her maw and walking next to him in the door. "You ready?"
  20. When Luna saw the other pony pass out she felt a tinge of fear herself. Did her magic not work? it sure felt to her that it did. It drained her of enough energy that it would be a good fifteen minutes before she could even move again. Though even if she could move right now, she wouldn't. she was going to wait here until this pony woke back up to make sure that she was in fact okay. perhaps she could find some help here as well to go after whoever took her sister.
  21. Okay then, I will have the topic up Tomorrow.
  22. Princess Luna nodded as the pegasus told her that it was several of her ribs and her legs, also noting the look in her eye. She was afraid of her. After the disastrous Nightmare Night from last year she wasn't surprised. Now was the perfect time to start building trust, though she had to admit she wasn't expecting the injuries to be quite that severe. This would be a challenging task to say the least. A faint blue aura appeared around the princess's horn and then around the pegasi, and it took all of her concentration to focus on her. She felt the magic coursing through the pegasus's poor, broken body and she mended every break and bruise on her as she felt them. Her eyes went white as the amount of magic being used was starting to even drain into her own last reserves, and when she healed the last of the injuries on the pegasus, she almost immediately lost her footing and fell down to her knees. "Oh my," she started. "Do you... feel any better?" she asked both in reference to the injuries and softly hinting at the uneasiness that radiated from the pegasi.
  23. Alright, if we can get one more person on board then I can get this started.
  24. Princess Luna nodded when Twilight mentioned that Rarity could be at her boutique. Luna nodded. "You go get Rarity, I'll go to Ponyville Market and check on the injured," she stated and flew to the market. Fortunately there weren't many left in the market so she went to the Ponyville hospital and she spotted a goldenrod colored Pegasus that had apparently just woken up. She had an I.V. in her arm, and appeared to have several broken bones. she leaned down to her and gently asked her, "What's broken? I can fix it for you."
