  1. (I'm so sorry, I thought I had posted this last night. Apparently I forgot to hit the post button or it didn't send correctly, but at least it autosaved it. Again, sorry for the wait.) Ice nodded when he mentioned the high-society 'nobodies' of Canterlot and smiled, "Sounds like you and me have quite the similar beliefs then, only difference is when I lived in Canterlot, I was a bit more hot tempered with the more disrespectful members of the high-society, and I ended up moving here to Ponyville. Everypony here is so much nicer, but there are parts of Canterlot where the ponies put morals over bits," she acknowledged. When he asked her what she sold that ran out of stock so quickly, she smiled. "I'm currently the owner of the Frozen Delights store here in town. I make everything from snow cones, to milk shakes, and even Ice Sculptures. Pretty much if it's frozen I can make it. I never run out of snow or ice because I can make it out of any liquid so as long as I have water, that's not the issue, but the flavoring syrups I'm have a real issue keeping in stock, which, I supposed is both a good and a bad thing," she told him happily hoping that he would come by and try one of her delights when she was open.
  2. This is a Classical piece that I've been working on for the past few months. I was inspired for this piece after Lunar Eclipsed thus is why I chose the title that I have for it. I think it came out really well. The song is wrote in F# minor and then transitions into A Major and then back to F# minor for the ending. Comments and Critique accepted!!
  3. Ice found herself behind her counter watching her patrons mingle. It was the best part of a shop owner was seeing all the happy faces on everypony while they all talked with all of their friends. She noted as a new pony made his way to her stall and she smiled in greeting as the other pony said that he was a supporter of ponies striking it out on their own and that he would love to try one of her icy delights. "Wonderful, I have many different types of frozen treats that are bound to find the spot for you," she said happily. "Which can I make for you today?"
  4. Ice Storm felt a small sigh of relief when Rarity said that it didn't matter to her, that where ever they went, that if she needed a pony to talk to she was there for her. She was also very worried though. What if Rarity thought less of her because of what happened to her? What if this had a negative impact on their friendship... what if she found it silly? She couldn't help but ask herself all of these questions, yet at the same time, Rarity had been one of the nicest ponies she's met to date. She would be understanding yes? Ice hoped so at least. "In any sense no need to let a conversation we haven't had yet ruin the fun. What about yourself? We've done a lot of talking about me, but I still know so little about you, you know other than the fact that you're nice, beautiful, and the best dress maker in Equestria," she added with a giggle on the end. The waitress came back and asked if they were ready to order. "Yes, I'd like one of those delightful Ceaser Salads that you have here! Those are always so good!" she said sounding much happier. "oh, and all of this will be on one," she added with a smile. The waitress nodded and then turned to Rarity for her order.
  5. Princess Luna could only imagine the thoughts going through everypony's mind. Thankfully she never heard the one reaction that she fear that she was going to get. It made her sigh inside with relief. Hearing everypony saying that they were behind her all the way was a big help to her self esteem. She already knew Twilight thought decently of her, but she still wasn't sure about everypony else. Rainbow Dash was in the air and ready to go, and Twilight said that they still had to get the others together. then Rainbow pointed out the tracks on the ground. Princess Luna followed the tracks around to the back of the tree and she found a door leading down. "Girls, I think she might be in here!" Princess Luna stated before knocking on the Cellar door. After knocking though she backed away from the door so that one of the others was the first that she saw. She still remembered the reaction that Fluttershy had to her when she was here on Nightmare night and she had no way of knowing if her opinion of her had changed or not.
  6. Happy Birthday!!!!!!! Hope it was/is a fun one!!!
  7. Ice could already tell they were meant to be friends. She already loved how enthusiastic this pony was, and her enthusiasm was contagious. I was starting ti make Ice feel all bubbly inside and she loved that. Then again it could also be the candy kicking in, but she only had one piece! "There's nothing wrong with that. I haven't quite figured out anything for myself to that extent, but I know I absolutely love putting a smile on everypony's face. Tis why I keep a bottle of my syrup with me and a few cones at all times. All it takes is a bit of water to brighten the day of any foal, filly, colt, mare, or stallion for me," she said with a large grin as Lemon brought out a frothy lemony beverage. Ice's eyes lit up from it. She took a sip of it and her eyes went even wider. "Oh wow, these are easily just as good as your candies! I love it!" she said her own enthusiasm boiling over as her own perky side started showing.
  8. Ice smiled and nodded about the comment with the breeze. "I agree, I've always loved the cooling winds in the air, but then again, I love frigid temperatures. Anything that makes it colder is always a welcome for me." It was true, she loved weather that was deemed colder than most ponies could tolerate. It may have came from when she was caught in the blizzard when she was little but it was a mystery to her. Almost everything else, her place of birth, and the fact that she's never lived in an extremely cold environment suggested that she should hate cold weather. The only thing she could chalk it up to was her control over ice. "As far as how my day's gone so far I can't really complain. I normally work out of that show over there, but I'm currently out of supplies at the moment, again. This will be the third time since I've opened that I'm going to have to up my stock," she stated with a sigh of both relief and stress.
  9. Ice Storm smiled as High Roller said that he would love to come and help them out at the store, that since he was a store owner himself he had an idea of how to organize shelves. She also nodded to Lore when he asked if she would want to get a couple of the shelves tackled after lunch. "Indeed, the sooner we get everything done, the sooner you can get open! Especially since once I get my shop open I don't know exactly how much I'll be able to help once things start moving with that. I'll still help as much as I can though. As I said, it's the least that I can do." Ice nodded to High Roller, her ears lowered a bit though at the mention of visiting Canterlot again, "I'll keep it in mind. I'm recently getting over some very negative experiences from Canterlot so I'm trying to keep my time there as little as possible at the moment. However, if I do find myself in Canterlot, I will definitely make sure to stop by. A lot of the games that you mentioned sound interesting, and are something I definitely want to try!"
  10. Ice frowned slightly when Rarity said that Twilight was a very busy pony. That probably means I'll never get to speak to her then, because I hate walking in or disturbing another pony while they are busy, she thought to herself. The waitress finally brought back their drinks, not that she was in a hurry, but it took longer than normal. They did seem to be a bit busy, so she understood. Rarity also nodded saying that it was good that she had at least found some friends, and if she wanted to talk about any of if that she was all ears. For Rarity to offer help with something like this was very generous of her, but something told ice that here wasn't the place for this type of talk. "Perhaps talking about it will do my some good, and perhaps qualm some of the aches that hurt inside. I don't know if an place so open as this would be good to talk about such issues," she said. "Maybe after we eat we can head back to your place, or wecan go back to my store and I could just close up early, then I would feel more comfortable, I just know that once I start, I don't think I'll be able to stop..." she added already feeling somewhat shaky from the memories.
  11. Ice giggled when Lemon Sparkle sarcastically said that she bet that Ice couldn't guess her favorite food. Ice grinned and continued on the wonderful salad. She felt like she'd known this pony for a while and she was still kicking herself for not noticing this store when she lived here not even a couple months ago! When she said that the pine nuts where her favorite, she giggled again, "It's all really good," she said finishing up her salad. "In fact it's a lot better than anything I can do. Unless it involves something frozen and sweet I'm horrible at preparing any other sorts of food," she said giggling. The sandwich was just as good as the salad. It definitely made Ice Storm happy that she decided to walk into this store today, she got lots of new delicious candy that she's never tried, a new friend and a delicious lunch. Today was definitely a good day. "So, other than being a candy maker, what else do you like doing?" she asked making small talk.
  12. Ice had gone back to minding her own business. She figured that if anypony wanted to talk to her right now that wasn't busy they would come over to her, mainly because that's when they normally did. The crispness of the morning air was still out and about and she was debating on going over herself and buying dome of that coffee that the other stallion had. The more she thought about it the more she liked the idea. Soon enough though the rusty brown stallion that she had seen with the coffee was soon right next to her, and spoke to her. "Indeed, the weather is quite nice today, and the temperature perfect right now. Not to hot for Ponies like me but not too cold for everypony else," she said with a smile. She scooted over on the bench to give him room if he wanted to sit down.
  13. Ice Storm ended up just buying a monthly pass for the train to Canterlot and back to Ponyville at this point. With her recent friends in both cities she had fallen in love with both areas and she made it a frequent visit to both places to keep her relations tight with everypony she's met. Her friends were the closest thing that she's had to a family for a while, and she wanted to make sure that every friend that she made she kept. She stepped off the train and she noticed that the streets of Canterlot were relatively... empty. Normally when she got off the train station the marketplace was packed. Today there were still several vendors there but not a lot of customers, and she also noticed that there weren't many other places open either. What's going on? he thought to herself before finding a sign at the exit of the train station about a Canterlot Royal Public Relations Open House. "Oh! I've never heard of this before! I wonder what it's for," she said grabbing a brochure. "The CRPR is a group of representatives from the royal family that take upon their-selves to go around and address the concerns and issues of all of their followers in each city that they go to... Oh That's kinda neat, what time does it start..." she said talking to herself as she looked on the paper for a time. "Oh snap! it's already started!" she said and hurried to the Canterlot Castle hoping that they were still letting ponies in. It didn't take her too long to reach the castle, and although she didn't have any pressing concerns or issues at the moment, as all of the ones she would have had has ended up working themselves out in the end. Before she couldn't find a friend to save her life and now she was finding friends everywhere she went. That fact alone made her happy, and she wanted to spread the word of happiness. With all the concerns that they deal with and the issues she figured that the royal family liked to hear about the things that they were doing right to! it only made sense! She trotted up the stairs and thankfully the doors were still open for new ponies. She gave a sigh of relief and entered the castle. the room was filled with ponies that she didn't recognize. Well all except one. She saw Princess Cadence mingling with some of the other ponies. Cadence is here! It must be my lucky day! First I get to meat Luna a could weeks ago and now I get to meet Cadence. I wasn't expecting one of them to be here... she said pausing her thoughts. Wait a second, why wouldn't one of them be here!? This is an open house in the castle where they live! Of course they'd be here!! she said to herself in her mind her common sense bringing her back to reality. One thing she did notice though was the snack table that had all sort of candies and the remnants of what used to be some sort of chocolate dish. the sight of snacks intrigued her and considering she hadn't eaten all day because of the train ride, she could use a snack. She made her way over to the pastry part of the snacks and grabbed one of the turnovers. Everything looked delicious and their flavors were no disappointment from their luscious looks. A smile quickly came over her face as the snack quickly satisfied her. Given that she didn't know any of the ponies around though, including the princess, she decided that it would be best to wait and let others come to her. She didn't know which ponies where in conversation and which weren't and which would be offended at her coming over to them. SO she just stayed were she was.
  14. Ice smiled at the mares reaction to her snow cone. "Thanks. Complete control over Ice and Snow is my special talent, so I figured why not use that talent to put a smile on as many faces that I can!" she said with another giggle as she watched the mare start preparing lunch. Soon enough she brought out a delicious looking salad and an amazingly decorated sandwich. "Oh wow, these look amazing!" Ice said after the other mare put the salad and the sandwich down and began to munch on the salad first. It was most definitely delicious, and Ice was grateful that this mare had invited her for lunch. At that thought though, a realization hit her that she hadn't even gotten this pony's name yet. "Oh! I do apologize, but I don't seem to remember catching your name if you said it already," she said blushing slightly and giving a whimsical smile.
  15. Ice blushed a bit when Rarity said that Luna was lucky to have found a friend like her. It was the truth for sure, because Ice would defend Luna's honor until the day that she died. "Thanks, I'd defend any of my friends to that extent. All of my friends are very important to me. Gosh, if it wasn't for my friends I wouldn't have anything close to a family," she admitted. Rarity also mentioned that Twilight knew everything about magic and if there was a better way for her to do something she would be the first pony to know about it. "I'll keep that in mind. Do you happen to know any time when she's not busy with anything? I don't want to seem like I'm intruding upon her at any time," she asked as she also heard her mention that she was sure that she would be able to recover everything in no time. "Oh I'm sure I will. Leaving Canterlot wasn't the first time I'd lost everything that I owned. In fact, it was the least devastating of the two."
  16. Ice Storm followed the yellow mare back into the kitchen when she invited her back, that she'd love to try one of her creations, and that while she was here she should stay for lunch, that she would love somepony to join her for lunch. Ice gave her a very big smile and a nod. She already liked this pony, very much so in fact. Where were all of these ponies when I lived here? was I really that oblivious to everything around me? she thought to herself. Once she got back into the Kitchen she used her magic to pull out the raspberry flavoring and one of the cones. "I can only imagine how everything else tastes if your candies are this good," she said with a giggle at the end. Then she took one of the cups of water and levitated the water in the air. she starting to swirl it around and around as fast as she could with her magic and slowly she started freezing it piece by tiny piece to where it had the same powdery texture as fine snow. Then as soon as it was at the right texture she started to add the flavoring into the swirl and waited until all of the snow had turned into the dark red color that the syrup normally turned it. She then placed it in the cone and then levitated the entire cone over by the yellow mare. "One raspberry snow cone. I always come prepared in case a sad little filly needs something for a smile to shine, or in this case a frosty treat for a new friend."
  17. Ice let out a small sigh. It was relaxing to just sit here and take in all the sights and sounds of Ponyville. There weren't as many ponies here as in Canterlot, but for her that was a good thing. It was another thing that always made her happier here. It's not that she didn't like Canterlot because at this point it was actually started to warm up to her. Sh had all but forgotten most of the bad experiences there at this point and replaced them with all the new friends that she had made there. She still didn't like how crowded it was there, but that was a city for you. She noticed a kind of rusty brown stallion approaching her general direction and watched as he sat down at another bench not too far from her. She noticed the gear he had for a cutie mark signalling that he was a mechanic of some sort. He also seemed to have a nice cup of coffee, something that was appealing to Ice at the moment. I'll have to grab one of those here soon, she thought to herself. she was half tempted to walk over and introduce herself to the pony as a gesture of kindness, but she couldn't make out whether or not this pony was looking for conversation or if he'd just want to be left alone. She decided to wait a few minutes before approaching to see if he would approach her first.
  18. RP is up. I thought I already posted the link here, but I guess I forgot to hit post. Here it is
  19. Luna was quick to attract the attention of the other ponies around and with the news that Fluttershy was now missing too a small part of her inside lost hope. If she's missing too then I don't know if we can stand a chance at whatever this is. My sister... and a bearer of an element of harmony... if they got both of them... this kidnapper is smart... she thought to herself. As expected she received a barrage of questions. Including the one that she dreaded the answer too. She looked around to make sure that no other ponies were in ear shot. She didn't want this to get public until she made the announcement in Canterlot. "No, fair Applejack. I'm actually at a loss for words to describe how deeply hurt I am right now," she said turning to Twilight. "Black scrolls are only supposed to be used in times of great emergency, and this is quite possible the largest emergency that Equestria has ever been stricken with," she said with tears welling up in her eyes. "Girls, my sister, Princess Celestia has been kidnapped. We don't know by what or who..., but we know she was taken by force, and whatever it was, it was strong enough to mask her magical presence and keep her from signaling for help. I honestly have no idea what we're dealing with here," she informed them hanging her head in shame for not being able to stop it.
  20. Ice was caught off guard by the price. She was easily expecting the priced to be closer to twenty or thirty bits with how much candy she was buying but to hear only four bits, she was shocked. "Are you sure you don't want any more than that for this?" This looks like it takes a lot of time and effort to make, that efforts should be rewarded," she said smiling to the store owner. there was even a Lemon Square on top, and it made Ice feel really bad for only paying four bits for it. She decided to be nice, and pulled eight bits out of her purse. "Here, for your generosity," she told her handing her the bits. She always loved seeing smiles and she could already tell that this pony was the same way a she was in that aspect. If it put a smile on another ponies face she liked it, and she liked ponies with that kind of personality. "Likewise if you ever find yourself in Ponyville, Stop by my Frozen Delights. All of my frozen treats there are sure to make your taste buds dance. I can even make you a sample one right now if you'd like all I need is a small glass of water," she said as she looked through her saddle back for the small bottle of raspberry syrup that she took with her where ever she went. She was always prepared to put a smile on somepony's face where ever she went.
  21. "Oh yeah, I've heard Twilight mentioned several times. She runs the Library right? I'll have to get over there some time to see if she has any books about ice magic there so that I can find a more efficient way to do things while still maintaining the quality of my work. I do love the popularity but it does make it a tad difficult to keep up every once in a while. I'd rather be that though than to be struggling for customers. Most of them don't usually mind the wait because I make sure everything's perfect in the end," she finished on that subject. Rarity went on to mentioned the one thing that she hated the most though and that she completely agreed with her on, the fact that everypony is so quick to forsake Luna without even giving her a chance. Luna is a wonderful pony and a wonderful friend! Granted she's only spoke with her once be even from the once night together it was enough for Ice to see the soft-heartedness of Luna. "I completely agree. I hate how most are so quick to judge others anymore. She's already paid for her mistakes and spent 1000 years completely alone as it was, and she couldn't do anything about it. Now she has the chance to meat other ponies and most avoid her like the Plague, or so I've heard anyway. I'm glad that I was able to make friends with her myself so that she knows she does have at least one friend," she added. Rarity also mentioned that she shouldn't put the dress in with any other clothing when she went to wash it, that it was very very delicate in that sense. "Oh don't worry, this dress is the only one I have at the moment. When I said I had to sell everything to move to Ponyville, I meant everything," she finished as she waited for the waitress to bring back their drinks.
  22. Ice Storm handed the pony two bits for the candy. She thought for sure that something this tasty was going to be expensive, especially here in Canterlot. If there was one thing she remembered about living here, it was the insane prices for everything. Something she definitely didn't miss when she moved to Ponyville. "Hmm, that's odd then. I'm very surprised I never noticed it before when I had my own shop right down the street," she said with a smile as the other pony said that the snow cones she mentioned sounded delicious, and said that they would be a big hit on the menu come summer time. "One would think that anyway, I didn't have much luck with the snow cones here myself. Hopefully it turns out better for you than it did for me!" she said walking over to look at some of the other candies that she mentioned. They all looked so yummy. She wanted all of it. She looked in her coin purse and she judged that she should have enough for some extra treats. "I'd like a half pound of everything please. It all looks so good and I can't decide on just one, so I'll try it all, Oh, my names Ice Storm by the way," she said with the most cheerful smile on her face
  23. Ice was immediately greeted after she walked in by a young mare from behind the counter carrying sticks of the delicious smelling candy out with her. She said that she had just pulled some of them out and that they were still kinda warm. She asked if she wanted to try one saying that it would be an explosion on her tongue. Ice's eyes lit up and she approached the counter. "I would love to try one!" she said happily as she took the offered stick into her mouth and bit into it. An explosion on her tongue was an understatement. These sticks were amazing. "You weren't kidding, these candies blow my snow cones out of the cone," she said happily. She reached into her saddle bag and looked her purse. "So how long have you been here? I don't remember this shop being here when I lived here. I used to own a snow-cone shop right down the road here where that new boutique is now," she asked, "Aha!" she yelled after she found her purse, "Also, how much would it be for five sticks?"
  24. Ice had found her way once again back to Canterlot. Now that she was actually getting along with a decent number of ponies here again, she found the area to be quite to her liking. She'd never consider moving back here permanently. Oh no, she'd never leave Ponyville behind like that. Ponyville was the first place that had shown her any sort of kindness. There was no way in Equestria that she was just going to up and leave. She decided to walk around the marketplace and she saw her old shop. It had been turned into a boutique at this point, and she could already tell by looking at the dresses in the window that Rarity would outshine anything in that store. She smirked to herself as she passed the shop as and she saw a new candy shop in the area. It was called "Sour Kiss" and it intrigued her. She'd never heard of it before and her attention was caught. She pushed the door open and she immediately took in the aromas of the sugars, the lemons, and the strawberries all combining. Strawberry Lemon snow cones and slushies... Why haven't I thought of that!!! she thought to herself as she looked for whoever was running the store. She didn't know what the candy was, but it smelled delicious.
  25. Ice Storm smiled and nodded when Lore said that he hoped that she got her store open soon and that he would even help her with getting everything set up. That it was the least that he could do for her helping him get his shop open. She couldn't help but let out a small laugh, "But you are giving me a place to stay. It would be highly rude of me to accept such an offer without doing something for you in return. And it's not that difficult. Whatever movers you hired to get everything here to Ponyville were really good because everything was mostly organized. Granted the most tedious part is coming up now which is shelving the books, but that won't be that difficult either I don't think," she told him with a smile as the other stallion began speaking again. He said that since the games normally catered to a very select audience they were pretty expensive, and Ice could understand that. if you had a smaller demographic to try to sell too, then you would have to charge more to make a profit. when he went on about the ones with the dice and the miniatures. the thought of the ones that were about high adventure and tactical combat was also intriguing. "All of these games sound really fun. I can't wait until your shop gets here so that I can try one of them!" she said happily hearing him add that she would be popular come the summer time. "Well, that's the hope anyway. I wasn't all that successful in Canterlot, but then again, I realize now that Canterlot is not the proper demographic for a snow-cone vendor," she said with a laugh.
