He turned his hare to face Hot Head with a blank look, He didn't recall ever mocking him, since he was never mean to anypony, but he did recall insulting him because Ore had taunted him for his lack of parents. He opened his mouth to respond but suddenly turned around after hearing a loud crack. He saw the colt and immediately his horn began to glow bright gold, encasing the stallion in an aura of gold magic which disabled him to move. He levitated Cool Temper over to them. "Now what exactly are YOU doing; lurking around here in this forest? Are you a spy?" He asked flatly, however his voice was stern.

Ore visibly deflated and his wings hung to the ground. His secrete that he tried for so many years to keep, well, a secret, was now exposed due to him being overly jumpy. Only one thing came to mind. "Aw, buck.." He muttered.

Ore immediately tensed up when Luna touched his shoulder and his wings spread out from his sides from being startled, from under his cloak.

"Eh...um..erm...good point." He says a bit reluctantly. He has to admit, it was the truth. But he still didn't trust that Changeling, she give him a bad feeling. Briefly turning away from the princes, he faced Hot Head, now fully irritated. "Some horseplay? Some!? You bullied me constantly! You-You little...bucker! You never even stayed there yet you always loved to pick on everypony!"

He was taken a back by her statement. Sheltering a changeling? That certainly was different, and after all the trouble her kind has caused the ponies, why would the Princess ever do that? "But...why, my Princess? Her kind has always caused ponies trouble." He states a matter-of-factly, completely profounded. Hearing Hot Head's response, he slumped a bit. Ore was begining to get a tad aggrivated, did this pony seriously believe that they were friends? "Yes, but you aimed at mine on purpouse. I would miss, and hit you once, and you'd dunk my head in the pond."

He then turned his attention back to Luna, frowning a bit when she adressed him as 'colt', but shook it off. "Pardon me, my Princess, but aren't you aware that there is a Changeling Queen in our midsts?" He glared at Hot Head briefly before the Princess responded. "Yes, I do, vividly. You used rocks, and tossed them at my head."

Rocka turned her head to look at Cool Temper and giggled a bit from his salute. "Hehe..at ease, solider. No need for such formality around here. We're all just her chillin' to the sounds of nature and my beautiful guitar." She said grinning. "Name's Rocka, pleasure to meet you Captain!" She says doing a small mock salute.

His head quickly shot around when he heard a strangely familiar voice. When he looked at the red stallion, a flood of memories washed through his mind about the times when he was a young foal in the orphanage. He remembered this pony very well, along with everything he had done to him. Making sure the cloak was still firmly around him, he addressed the pony in his usual monotonous tone. "Hello...Hot Head.."

Ore's eyes widened a bit, now he knew he's heard of her. She is the ruler of the changelings, or was..he was still confused about this about a number of levels, and mainly why Princess Luna didn't bat an eyelash to it. In the most quiet whisper he could muster, he called out to Luna. "Psst...Princess...Princess Luna..."

Rocka nodded as she re closed her eyes. "I most certainly do! He's a stallion pegasus. His name's Beats. One of the best darn drummer ponies around and the best older brother a filly could ask for."She commented with a smile.

He raised an eyebrow seeing the creature change form. A changeling...a...strangely familiar changeling. Why would Princess Celestia even bother being in the same area with one of them? And most of all, what are they doing here? These thoughts plauged Ore's mind as he watched the whole scene from behind the tree, he quietly shifted sides to see where the Changeling was headed with the colt.

Deeper into the forest, next to a large cave, Ore strode out of his house. He pulled on his cloak which covered up his wings, but he left the hood off, so his horn was uncovered. He decided to take a stroll and collect some ingredients. His sister was asleep and younger brother still at school, so he didn't have much to do. He continued to walk through the forest until he began to pick up the sound of voices. He quickly hid behind a large tree and peaked out the corner. He saw three figures: one which looked like a regular earth pony, a strange creature that he swore he saw before, and another alicorn he immediately made out to be the ruler of the night herself; Princess Luna. He remained quiet as he observed the small group of ponies from in the shadows.

"Dancing?" Rocka chuckled a bit. "Well...not to brag but, I've got very harmonic hooves." She says with a grin

Snowy smiled a bit and faced forward when he walked away. She listened as the announcer spoke and her eyes widened a bit. Wow...the chance to meet Princess Celistia and Princess Luna..that would be such an honor...She began to stretch while she waited for the race to start. If she would have to use her hooves for half of the race, she better prepare for it.

Snowy turned around to face the red Pegasus. "H-Hello.." She responded shyly. She slightly tilts her head to the side as she thinks about the time he describes "I..do remember you.." She visably grimaces as she remembers her experience at that place.

Snowy took her mark on th track. She was placed number ten. Nopony would be able to tell from looking at her, but she was a very fast flier.Although she has never entered in a competition before, she felt that this event was special and would be a fun experience. She wasn't really the type to compete, but her brothers had finally convinced her to go through with her decision even though she was pretty nervous about it. She glanced around the track at the other ponies to see what she was up against.

Rocka smiled with her eyes still closed. Hmm...my music seems to be attracting ponies of all sorts..She thinks to herself before opening one eye to see the new pony as she continued to play.

Snowy comes back to the group carrying a large leaf with something wrapped up in it. She walks back into the cave and sets the leaf down on the ground, causing the contents to spill out, which are revealed to be a large variety of different fruits.
