    I chuckle at the silliness going on over Vinyl Scratch, and smile. It's fun to see everyone so excited. Especially Neon. I'm glad to see him still choosing his destiny, he's going to go far, I know it. I say encouragingly and look at Snowy

    I chuckle softly as her stomach grumbles, Well, we'll get you fed then, because I missed out on lunch myself racing here, so I'm quite hungry myself. I take her hoof and lift her gently to her feet, and escort her to the buffet, unawares of the spiked punch and ensuing hilarity.

    I kiss her nose gently, and get lost in her eyes for awhile. I'll always be here for you, My Snowflake This is the finest treasure I've ever found, the one treasure he always wants to protect and never lose. The adorable way she floats and looks, and that cute little way she flaps her wings and steps so daintily. She, gives me a new found strength and purpose that I never felt, and a special kind of adrenaline that adventuring can never again recreate.

    The way Snow looks when she smiles set my spirit on fire, with the same passion I had for so long in wandering. I know that there is something special in her deep green eyes, her soft blue coat, and her cute pouts and smiles and blushes. The very way she carries herself so cutely, and that truly adorable quality that I just can't describe, an innocence, an aura about her. It always calmed my soul and made me so sweetly happy. I'm so proud to call you my special some-pony I whisper as I circle the top of her hoof with mine cutely, as I get a little closer in our tiny corner.

    Party I chuckle slightly at this, and realize how adorable her face gets when she pouts like that Ah, but Snowy dearest, what joy is there in any adventure if you know how it will end? If anything, I think you'll enjoy it even more with such anticipation until this evening. I say with a wink and a smile. Her cute face and adorable pout, makes my resolute will turn to putty, and cutely say If you need a hint, I can tell you that it is possibly, the most grandiose and amazing gift that I could ever give you, other than my heart of course, which I already gave to you My little Snowflake. I nuzzle her cheek as I end a tone that seems sweeter than milk and honey.

    I stand back in awe, realizing how momentous this is. Well...I am sincerely flattered, Snowy and I will put great use to it, and I'm sure she'll also accept your gracious hospitality, you are a pony of wisdom and taste Grey. I think you just did more than you can even imagine with this one gift. I must return to my Special Somepony, and I'll see you again soon. You and I should have lunch and really chat again, it's felt like awhile since we had a good conversation with your executive duties. I wave at Grey as I trot back to Snowy and seamlessly shift the wave to Snowy, and sit by her in her little corner Why hello, does my favorite pegasus have her head in the clouds? I place my hoof onto hers, and watch the party progress with her, as I keep her hoof in mine Say, I have a little surprise for you tonight, and I'm not going to give you any clues. I say cutely to her, with a childish playfulness to it

    I gaze at my desk calender, taking a break from my aching head, as I had recently bashed it one as I typed a paper on the Wonderbolt's feud over who really dropped the soap...*sigh* I notice a date circled in red pen. *Today...what was it about today...Wait...WAIT!* Celestia's Horn! I bolt out of my chair and start opening windows and giving the dust a good dusting. *The only real source of money we have is showing up today! Might as well make this place look decent...Wait...how about...* I stand still in thought. *I show him what really happened to this place...and maybe...we'll get even more people...* *Or he'll shut this place down and I'll have to write advertisements for Pony Joe's fricking donuts again...* Caught in the middle of 2 extremes, I take the position of the old Mudslinger Upton Sincolt and just decide to tell it like it is, sit down, and dig for some Ibuprophen, and get back to work on such pertinent work.

    It's been my pleasure being here Grey, you know that this is the best place I've ever stayed. Also, it allowed me to meet Snowy, something I should be thanking you for. I take the box and say You didn't have to do this Mr.Matter but I'll take it with honor, and place it among my small treasure collection, by every Goblet and mask. I slowly open it up, treating it like the same treasures I hunted before I finally settled down (You decide what it is, you bought it )

    I chuckle at the goings on here It's so nice to see your brother back on his wings like this. This party and all reminds me of opening day, and you're just as beautiful as the day I met you Snowflake. I say to Snowy charmingly, as I look around. Neon really does remind me of what I was like when I was a colt. Young, energetic, I still remember kissing the hooves of the author of the Daring Do novels, when I saw him at a signing one afternoon. Now, if you excuse me Darling, I'll go and talk to Grey Matter and see what he wants of me, then I'll be right back. I tap her hoof like the first days we met and walk up to him, and patiently wait for the conversation to turn to me.

    I trot into the Grey Area Lobby and soak in the old air of my favorite upclass stable, I stealthfully walk by Snowy, and take a kiss from her soft blue cheek Don't think you can outrun me any time soon my little Snowflake, and sorry I'm late My Dear, I had just finished some business down at the Museum, you know how it is. I see your little brother has more fans than I expected, and I always knew he'd make it far, I'm just as proud as you are of him. I smile warmly, looking around, realizing how much everything changed over a year. Hah! I was even treating my old rival Watcher like a newfound friend with a warm gaze.

    I chuckle slightly, smiling at him proudly. The fact that you stated the truth about what your good at, show me something. You'll go far in this business, I know it. Journalism is something you learn just as much in the field as you do in class. For now, I'd be glad to take someone in here who can actually think for themselves. You'll be doing a weekly column, call it what you want, do what you want with it. Just make it something to remember, something to get people to think. Also, as your senior, I say that the first thing I want you to do, for the next week, is to just walk around the city. Live out there and get a feel for what people need to hear, not what they want to hear. Report back to me on it, keep it simple and short in your notes. Then, I want to see a column written out the week after, ready for the presses. After that, you do what you have to. By the way, what's your name? I'll have to know who you are, seeing as we are now colleagues.

    I give a cursory glance to the papers, seeing that he's verbose, but toss it aside, noting the political piece. Okay, listen. You bringing in your work was honestly a formality. I needed to see that you actually know how to form sentences. You can do that, now, this is something important. I stand up from my dusty brown cubicle, and start to open the windows as I speak, letting light float in, highlighting the dust and showing how stained and filth ridden the shag carpet is. Do you care? Important things, do you actually care about what happens in Equestria. Politics. Education. Movements and the heart of this country, and Canterlot? What about The Facts and Honesty? I get close up to the pony claiming to want a job and get a little louder, letting out years of stress and anxiety in this one heartfelt speech, walking around him as I speak, like a manticore tangles with an innocent forest animal. Or are you just here to earn two bits to buy yourself a coffee table, and would keep reporting the same schlock that put Equestria Daily to be the "symbol of journalistic excellence" it is today. I start to huff out as my face turns faintly purple with the blood rushing to my face. Slowly I let it fade, and stand next to him and say, in a friendlier but stern tone. Your papers say that you're educated, that you know what's going on, we, well, I need that around here. But, I need to see you tell me that you actually give a damn about the issues. I pause, letting the environment sink in. That, that is how you're writing should sound when you draft an important article. So, answer me, you feel you've got the stuff?

    In the past they did. Now it's been slipping. I argue Level Up as my key point, the Mad Cartoon show, and others. However, Adventure time is endearing and a well made program. Amongst crap. And Yes, Toonami is not under CN control, but regardless, it gives the Channel's bandwith some favorable content. Which, if we keep watching, will get even better things on it down the line!

Hello, the name's Byline Buck. I take it you got the ad? Glad to see someone responded to it. Tell me, do you have any original pieces of yours? If so, I'll start asking you questions. I know...I know that it said Human Resources would talk to you, but I haven't seen him since Celestia knows when. Probably in Ponyville discovering his "Inner Farmer" or something.

    The sound of a lone typewriter echoed out in the Equestria Daily office, the tapping and the ticking and the whirring of it starting a new line were all I knew Tickatickatickaticktick...tick... Scrrrrrrcch! Tickatickatakatitick.... Scrrrrrch! A Blue pony, sat typing endlessly, while everyone else was gone. He wrote nothing, well, nothing of worth is a better term. Always pointless celebrity stories here. Why did he even get into the business again? He should have realized he'd just be writing more expose's on The Great and Powerful Trixie's last Public relations blunder, and Fancy Pants's new declaration to the high society who never read the paper anyway... *Oh Byline Buck, what have you gotten yourself into. Half the staff is either on vacation or sleeping in, and no one cares except for the ponies who run the papers out. We need new blood in this operation. No one'll notice if I run a small ad in there...* He rips out the column on the Carriage recall that Princess Celestia made, fear of safety and loose wheels or what have you, and began meticulously drafting an ad, which read To All Ponies with writing talent: New Faces sought at Equestria Daily. Submit a copy of your work, and report to Pony Resources for an interview. Will send letters for exact dates. Respond ASAP. Good Wages and Good Work

    Haha, I'm not that good a convert maker, which is quite to my personal disgrace XD. and I became a Brony because my little brother did and I was curious what the big deal was. I started wandering through the DVR with all the episodes and got hooked, as we speak I am watching episodes, and have been having a personal all day marathon. It's been very nice @Hinata: Wow, You also watched Totally Spies?? God that bring back the Nostalgia factor...I don't remember a thing about the show other than the second seasons weird GlaDos creature and the British man who ran it all. Glad to know I'm not the only one who watched that XD.
