  1. Life's like a movie, write your own ending. Keep believing, keep pretending. The most sophisticated people I know - inside they are all children. -Jim Henson Every day the world begins again Sunny skies or rain Come and follow me Every sunrise shows me more and more So much to explore Come and follow me Every morning every day Every evening calling me away While the sun goes 'round I'll still be found Following the sound Something's calling me When the world goes drifting back to bed Memories in my head Wonders follow me Every morning every day Every evening calling me away Every morning every day Every evening calling me away -Traveling Matt's song Follow Me The world is like a big box of crayons. Some are sharp, some are dull. Some have funny names and come in all colors, and we all live in the same box - Anonymous Good Friends are like bras, they are always there to support you- Me
  2. A red, white, and darker red, well built Earth pony comes barreling around the corner wearing a WW2 army helmet and a military jacket while wielding a giant black box. "DROP DOWN AND GIVE ME YOUR LIVES!" And shoots a rocket propelled party hat at Sniper.
  3. Hello, 911? I'm having a reality crisis. I keep doing silly thing like falling down or getting verbaly abused by my friends, and I keep hearing a laughtrack. Or a "Awwwww" sound or any other audience sound. And right now, I think that there are people sitting on couches looking at me from different angles, as in camera angles. I know that there is a television audience watching me right now. I also keep seeing a little black box in the upper righthand corner of my vision. ANd I have a feeling that they are watching you too right now as you answer my call. Is this live tv? Or is everything scripted? I don't know what's going on anymore!!!!!!!! I can feel their beedy eyes on me!
  4. Well. My character Pinoak has a wagon stuck (It's pretty bad) out in the Everfree forest and he's on his way to Ponyville from Zecora's hut for some help. Here's the character sheet: http://www.canterlot.com/topic/8993-pinoak-final/ Would you be interested?
  5. "Thank you so much! I'll let you know when the show is ready." Pinoak waves his hoof good bye as he happily trots out of the hut and down the trail. (OOC: I'm heading out of this rp. Really fun! When the show comes around y'all will love it.)
  6. GAAAH! I knew I should have posted this there. I wasn't sure if it should go under chit chat, or spam. Stupid waffleing
  7. I have an interesting question for to propose: How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? And if they could chuck wood, how would the woodchucks chuck wood? I feel that they would probably make some kind of catapult to chuck the wood. And for how much: As much wood as they could hold and/or carry? What do you all think?
  8. "Um..." Now looking at Zecora,"I'm really sorry to interrupt, you seem really busy, but um, could you point the way to Ponyville? I haven't been down there in a while and I'll be out your mane immediately. I'm fairly certain that I could find some help down there. You seem pretty busy at the moment and the little filly out there seems like she needs some help." Pinoak says quietly while he gives a nod towards the filly out side, "And once my cart gets unstuck, I'll hopefully be able to treat you to a show as some kind of payment for the trouble and my rudeness. Sound good to you?"
  9. Thanks! And you probably will too!
  10. We welcome you with open arms and hugs! If that's okay with you.. Seriously though, welcome to the herd!
  11. I would be interested, but Phil is right, we do need to have a general idea as to what the story is about. From this, it just seems like some sort of random pony mash-up. Is it that? Or is there some super deep meaningful story line? It would be pretty cool to know. Or if you want to learn how the characters would act in different situations, create a character for the RP and then have those interested (Or those who would fit your story best) in your fanfic and RP with them. That way, you won't get any angry complaints from those ponies saying: "Ermahgawrd, that's not how mah charaters would act in something like that." And you can get a realistic feel for them and everyone is happy. Hope you don't mind my thoughts on this.
  12. Nuh uh! 8th edition is by far the best!!! Everyone loves the instawin kill spells at level one! Ok, lets just keep it at ponies. I am starting to get a bad feeling about D&D edition wars. SOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...... Ponies
  13. Huh, that's pretty cool to know. You know, if done right, this could start up some massive fanwar. Which is one of my biggest pony peeves. RULE OF THUMB ON ROLEPLAYING FORUMS: Never start an edition war with Dungeons and Dragons.
  14. "Umm....." Finally stopping for a moment to look at all the other ponies. "I think I'll just wait over here for a few....just got a little excited about seeing a Zebra this far out." Pinoak says as he steps out of the way of the doorway and the two little foals. Now saying quietly to himself, "Daww, that's so sweet."
  15. Looking around the room, noting all of the masks and ignoring his own trouble. "The stories these can tell..." He then looks over to Zecora, dropping his jaw, "Holy horseradishes! I wasn't expecting a Zebra this far away from her homelands. I bet you have so many stories to tell! Oooo this is just great!" Sheepishly, "I'm sorry I burst in like that, got a little lost in the woods, crashed my wagon and I went off for some help. I'm Pinoak, the storyteller." says the mustard unicorn as he holds his hoof out.
  16. "Finally!" shouts a mangy, dirty yellow unicorn as he bursts out from behind some brush off to the side of the hut. "An actual building!" As he he starts to trot towards the hut, he manages to hear the voices coming from inside. "Please oh PLEASE let there be someone that can help me." He walks around to the front of the hut and opens the door with a bang. "FINALLY SOME PONIES WHO COULD HE-" looking around the room, "Oops, heh heh...sorry about that. I didn't mean to make such a bang."
  17. Ahhhh.... good ol' Nintendo. So sturdy, so tough. That's really impressive. I knew they could take a beating but not that much of one.
  18. Were there any innocent gaming devices in the incident? Or were they objects with memories of hatred? Like a Phillips CD-i? OR a copy of ET?
  19. Tabletop gaming, video games, researching puppets (LOVE THEM!), watching TV, collecting nutcrackers and going to Scout meetings.
