My Neighbor Totoro (Yes, before even pokemon)

All I have to say about furries is that they're insane, and I'm not talking about their liking anthropomorphic animals. No, I'm talking about the ones who dress up in those fur suits when it's 100 degrees outside! Anthros are cool, dressing up as stuff is cool, dressing up as animals is also kinda cool (although I wouldn't do it myself), but in 100 degree heat? That's just not right. Seriously, if it's that hot out just wear some ear, a tail, and some makeup! Don't wear a suit that can cause you to pass out (it happens). This rant was brought on by a convention I just went to, where it was very hot and some of the furries were wearing some super heavy fur suits. I got dehydrated just looking at them. And I agree, the ones who claim to actually be animals just plain nuts.

They can sometimes use their hooves just like hands. I figure they can play every sport with the exception of polo.

I love the show for so many, many different reasons, but mainly because it's just an amazing show. I know that I've already said this, but I feel that it deserves to be said again. Also, if you thought that pun was bad, listen to this real life story. Remember how in heart gold or soul silver you could get pikachus with fly by using the pokewalker? After a long amount of time I finally got my hands on one, but couldn't think up a good nickname for it. Then inspiration struck, and I named it Pamphlet. Because it's a flyer. Get it? (One of my friends literally cringed when he heard this)

Applejack sighed to herself. As she wandered through Ponyville park, searching for her dog. If figured that as soon as she turned her back, Wynona would run off and get herself lost. Oh well, hopefully she'd turn up soon enough. After all, she was a smart dog and not likely to get into any sort of serious trouble. "Wynona! Wynona!" Applejack called, hoping that her dog would hear her. "Arf!" She heard coming from a small, overgrown patch of trees where nopony ever went. "Wynona!" Applejack yelled. "Arf! Arf!" Listening more carefully this time, Applejack detected a note of urgency in her dog's voice. Dang it! Why did Wynona have to run off and get into trouble. This wasn't like her at all! "Hold on! I'm comin'!" Applejack called out as she dashed towards the thicket, trying to remember why nopony ever went there. Of course! There was an old abandoned well, and the Mayor had asked that ponies stay away until it was sealed up. But that had been a few years ago, and by now everyone had forgotten about it. Wynona must have been playing over there and fallen in the well! "I'm here Wynona!" Applejack said as she burst through the and found herself face to face with... Wynona? The dog was right there in front of her, totally unharmed, and jumping up and down frantically. "What in tarnation?" Applejack said, now thoroughly confused. If Wynona hadn't been hurt, why was she barking so loudly? "What's wrong girl?" Applejack asked the dog, who turned around and ran over to the well. Applejack followed, and when they finally got to the well she could hear a very faint noise coming from the well. Leaning closer, she listened very hard, trying to make it out. "Help!" Startled, she looked down into the well and saw, to her complete and utter surprise... "Fluttershy? Is that you?" Fluttershy looked up and beamed. "Oh Applejack! I've been trapped down here for hours!" "Why didn't you just fly out?" "Oh, I tried, but it's very high and I got scared." Applejack made an incredulous face. "Fluttershy, this well is ten feet deep. Is that really that high?" Fluttershy nodded her head vigorously. "Ok then. Why didn't you call for help?" "I did." "I could barely hear you and I was standing right over here? Why didn't you call louder?" "Oh, but it's such a nice day out and I didn't want to disturb any ponies who were enjoying it." Applejack's jaw dropped at this. "Didn't want... Fluttershy, you're trapped down a well! I don't think anyone would mind if you called for help!" "Well, you're here now, so I didn't really need to call for help..." Fluttershy mumbled. Hearing that, Applejack just gave up. Sighing to herself, she took Wynona's leash and dangled it down into the well. Fluttershy grabbed on and used it to steady herself as she slowly flew up. Finally, she reached the top, and when she hopped out she gave a little cheer. "Whooooo" Applejack shook her head, then asked Fluttershy the question that had been on her mind this whole entire time. "Fluttershy, how did y'all end up down there in the first place?" Fluttershy blushed. "I, um, tripped." "Tripped, but that walls two feet high?" "I was... flying." "You were flying? How do you trip while flying?" Applejack started to say, then thought better of it. It didn't matter how Fluttershy had gotten down there. All that mattered was that she was safe now. She was about to say goodbye when her pink haired friend turned to her and smiled. "Thanks for saving me Applejack! I was worried I'd be trapped down there forever. And thank you Wynona. If you hadn't told Applejack where to find me I'd still be down there." Fluttershy said, patting Wynona on the head. "'T'wern't nothin'" Said Applejack. "Now come along Wynona. I know you had a good reason for runnin' off, but we need to go for a walk now. Kay?" "Arf!" Wynona barked, wagging her tail. "That's a good girl." Applejack said as the three friends walked away together. Once again I take what should be a short story and make it hideously long. Now, time for three settings! I got Luna. Yes! I feel my personality is kinda like Luna's but not at all like the description given. I'm fairly lazy, the only secrets I can't keep are my own, and when it comes to bravery? Ehhhh. I'm no coward, but if something scares me I'll probably avoid it. Still, I like Luna and I feel like the description doesn't really fit her all that well either.

I just had a fun idea for something everyone could do. Everyone post a setting containing a location, some characters, an object, and an event, like this: Sugar Cube Corners Derpy, Rainbow Dash A carrot Rainbow orders the last muffin After enough people have posted these, everyone will pick one of the settings and write a short story telling what happens. Make sure to provide the setup for the even, the event actually taking place, and the conclusion. You can use other characters not included in the setting, but only for bit roles that don't really effect the plot. For example, using the setting above, you could have Mrs. Cake sell Rainbow the muffin, but you couldn't have Pinkie pop out of it and throw a party. Of course, this is meant to be fun, so if you really want to have Pinkie pop in randomly, feel free. Since this is an all ages site, I'd like to ask that you go very light on the shipping. Feel free to include some shipping in the story (like Lyra saying she needs to leave early because Bon Bon is waiting for her), but these really shouldn't be love stories, just simple little interactions between ponies. Also, keep these things appropriate for all ages. Finally, if you want to post more than one setting, or write more than one story, or post a setting but not write, feel free. I'll only ask that you don't write a story using your own setting, and that you don't write a story if you haven't added a setting. It's quick to do, and the more people do it the more options people will have. Since these stories should be pretty short, feel free to post them here. Also, please make sure to mention what the original setting was. I hope people like this idea! I understand that. I'm hoping that given the nature of this site and the people who hang out here everyone will keep things AA. Call it a leap of faith. And if it doesn't work out, a mod can move/close down this thread.

My own personal opinion is that she's lesbian, and rainbows have nothing to do with it. One of the most convincing reasons for me is because she acts a lot like my lesbian friends (and I'm not talking about being a tomboy). In addition to that, I could list oh so many little scenes that added together convinced me that she likes girls, but I doubt anyone wants to hear that.

Maybe. I considered putting it there, but sexuality doesn't technically HAVE to be about actual sex. I decided to put it here and if a mod thinks I belongs in 18+ it can be moved. I mean, LIKING someone isn't inappropriate, no matter what their gender is, so this topic isn't really adult unless someone makes it that way.

All over the web people are arguing over whether or not Rainbow Dash is gay. This discussion has popped up in the RD shipping thread, but I figured it was so controversial it deserved it's own thread. After all, we'll ship anything whether we think it's straight or not, but many people think that Rainbow is a lesbian even outside of the realm of shipping. Therefor, here is a thread specifically for that debate so we stop cluttering up the shipping thread. Just a few requests: Please keep it civil and appropriate. Remember, it doesn't really matter all that much IRL. Please don't feel like you need to apologize for your opinion. Just because you don't think RD is gay that doesn't mean people will think you're homophobic, and just because you think RD is gay that doesn't mean you judge people based on stereotypes. Please avoid mentioning the article Lauren Faust wrote. It doesn't say ANYTHING about what Rainbow Dash's sexuality actually is. It just says that you shouldn't assume someone is gay just because they're different. It doesn't constitute proof one way or the other. Remember, this is just for fun and isn't about gay rights or anything like that, so please don't try to make it about that. That goes somewhere else. Have fun!

The blue bomber is the bomb. I own all the original series, all the Megaman X games, and all the Zero games. I'm trying to get my hands on Megaman soccer and the few Battle Network games that I don't own, but I'm having some trouble finding them. Has anyone here ever heard of the rapper Random (or Mega Ran, as some call him)?

I play invincible spy (Enforcer, Dead Ringer, Spycicle) and when I'm in the zone get over 150 points an hour. (Admittedly, that doesn't happen all that often, but when it does I kill everybody) No-one can kill me with my favorite load-out. I also play puff & sting pyro (just got good with the postal pummeler) and as scout. God I love scout (Force a Nature, Strange Pistol, Boston Basher). I'm also sometimes the intel engie, and engie is technically my best class (if you listen to my records). (Pomson, Strange Pistol, Jag) Also, does anyone here want a strange diamondback? I traded a strange KGB for it a while ago and am trying to get rid of it.

Just tell 'em you aren't gay. If they don't beleive you... not much will probalby happen. Besides what do ponies even have to do with gayness (aside from Rainbow Dash)? (On a side note, I find it hilarious when people fall over backwards to say stuff like "Not that there's anything wrong with gayness." I have no clue why.)

I personally don't care who you ship who with. I have my own little pony shipping universe (centered around Rainbowdash). In it, Rainbow likes Pinkie, who is straight and has no clue how RD feels about her. At the same time, Fluttershy likes Rainbow, but is too shy to say anything to anyone about it. Rainbow confides in Vinyl, who was her first girlfriend, since she doesn't really feel comfortable talking about this with anybody else. Applejack has a bit of an idea of what's going on, but she has no clue what to do about it. Since she doesn't feel like she can talk to Pinkie, Fluttershy, or Rainbow about it, since they're what're worrying her, she tries talking with Twilight, but because she's a good friend she doesn't give Twighlight anything specific, so Twighlight is just confused. At the same time, Rarity is trying to subtly give Rainbow advice, but Rainbow can't tell. That's my MLP shipping.
